Staff/owner are friendly. If you are lookin' for a good boiled seafood and don't care about fancy place, then I definitely recommend this spot.

I would highly recommend Bayou Cane Seafood Restaurant. The food was presented beautifully, and it was so delicious. Lastly, don't forget to add the fried corn, it will blow your mind!

Crawfish was cooked perfectly! Not to spicy not too salty and the size was for sure a M/L mixed! Highly recommend!

This is the Brees. I'm not a real big crawfish eater so I wanted in on the hype. Well it wasn't bad, but all the pealing...not my thing, was worried about either breaking or staining my nails, of course nothing to do with the taste, but I suppose it was a lil letdown for me. I expected more flavor. But the crabs...omg, awesome. The corn was so good that I wanted more. As a gumbo lover, I pretty much test it every spot that sells it. She said it was good, and yes it was, but it was also very very oily, so that's a killer for me.

3 crabs and half pound of shrimp. Very tasty and reasonably priced.

Decided to stop here when driving through the town, great decision! Very reasonably priced, delicious seafood! The boiled shrimp & crab were delicious, and the fried catfish Poboy was really big and tasty as well.

Had the most amazing crawfish and Gulf shrimp boil from this place, still thinking about it! Can't wait to go back to NOLA for some more!

Great seafood! Mainly takeout location but you have the option to dine in. Definitely skip the butter and get the sauce!

Get ready to let the good times roll when you walk through the door, the sign above the counter…read moresays "Welcome to Cajun Paradise, I'm with couyon" being born and raised in southwest Louisiana I can definitely get the meaning in the correct context, I can also recognize authentic Cajun cooking when it's put down in front of me and mais sha let me tell you these folks are doing it proud. We stopped in here for lunch and ended up with a sampling of what in my opinion is probably the best example of cajun food done right in Houma and for miles around - everything was delicious and the service from Sarah L was outstanding. We started with the Charbroiled Oysters served with toasted french bread, the plump Louisiana oysters were succulent and dipping the french bread in the cajun butter became an obsession, definitely a must do starter - I wasn't leaving here without trying their chicken and sausage gumbo, perfect texture and complex flavors it will make you a believer, my hats off to the chef, definitely authentic - the fried catfish filets and jumbo fried shrimp platters were outstanding although we didn't do it these are the foundation of an amazing po-boy (maybe next time) - all the sides were exceptional from the fried okra and onion rings to my personal favorite the skillet fried potatoes and who could leave without a few beignets served hot covered in powdered sugar - what a meal they should have a place to lay down in the back for a "cajun nap". In my opinion if you craving some authentic cajun dishes you can't go wrong here, the portions are nice and the prices are very reasonable. Our schedule didn't allow us to return as we had planned but will definitely return when we are back in the area...

Solid place for Cajun fare (tons of options), fairly priced, good service…read more We got the crawfish etoufee, seafood gumbo, friend catfish with sides of hush puppies, cut corn, and potato salad, and bread pudding. All food was solid. Seafood gumbo was particularly good. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing through town. For any Midwesterners, you may find the potato salad a little bland. Was expecting a bit more but it was okay. Next time I would skip and get a different side. Most locals seemed to order 1/2 pound of boiled seafood.

Fun little market on the side of the road - we'd passed by the signs advertising "Hot Cracklins"…read moreand we had to make a stop. Lots of meats in the freezer section - we picked up stuffed pork chops and alligator patties. As we were checking out they just loaded up some fresh pork cracklins and we got a cup of those. So good! It's heavily seasoned so if you can't have or don't like salt, maybe see if they have any unseasoned. We also tried the gator balls - not my fave (tasted like maybe there was crawfish or crab mixed in) but ok.

I've stopped by this place many times but only gotten things out of the hot box. They have very…read moregood choices of anything you can think of in their hot box, I'm a huge fan of that alone. There's a bunch of fresh fruit and vegetables for sale as well, and some nice decor for the home and all. Just looking for a snack, a real bite to eat, fresh produce for the house, this is a good spot for sure. I finally decided to try some of their real food so I called in a shrimp poboy and fries. I must say the shrimp poboy is definitely up there with the best I've ever had. They had a great amount of mayo, and the lettuce and tomato were fresh from a garden you can tell which made the sandwich much better than going to a chain restaurant or something of that sort. Poboy is pretty big with plenty of shrimp, fried perfectly, great bread selection too. Now the fries...the saltiest fries I've ever had in my life. You can zoom in on the picture and count every grain of salt on each French fry. I love salty foods but I couldn't even handle these fries. Otherwise, this would've been a perfect 10/10 meal. It was $21 with a large fountain drink. I will definitely be back for more food.
