    Oyster on Bun

Oh my the best fried oyster sandwich I've had in years The oysters were fried to perfection, crispy outside tender inside. Fries and onion rings hot and fresh. Original one of a kind poboys that are out of this world. My hubby had a Ray-Ray poboy that had sloppy roast beef, ham and fried shrimp with all the yummy toppings. Bring your appetites.

I always make a conscious effort to stop by here whenever I'm down south to get the shrimp Poboy dressed with extra mayo. 10/10

Seafood was soggy but the flavor was there. Real French bread!!! A bit pricey for a Po boy.

The Ray-Ray is awesome (fried shrimp, sausage, and roast beef in gravy).

Get ready to let the good times roll when you walk through the door, the sign above the counter…read moresays "Welcome to Cajun Paradise, I'm with couyon" being born and raised in southwest Louisiana I can definitely get the meaning in the correct context, I can also recognize authentic Cajun cooking when it's put down in front of me and mais sha let me tell you these folks are doing it proud. We stopped in here for lunch and ended up with a sampling of what in my opinion is probably the best example of cajun food done right in Houma and for miles around - everything was delicious and the service from Sarah L was outstanding. We started with the Charbroiled Oysters served with toasted french bread, the plump Louisiana oysters were succulent and dipping the french bread in the cajun butter became an obsession, definitely a must do starter - I wasn't leaving here without trying their chicken and sausage gumbo, perfect texture and complex flavors it will make you a believer, my hats off to the chef, definitely authentic - the fried catfish filets and jumbo fried shrimp platters were outstanding although we didn't do it these are the foundation of an amazing po-boy (maybe next time) - all the sides were exceptional from the fried okra and onion rings to my personal favorite the skillet fried potatoes and who could leave without a few beignets served hot covered in powdered sugar - what a meal they should have a place to lay down in the back for a "cajun nap". In my opinion if you craving some authentic cajun dishes you can't go wrong here, the portions are nice and the prices are very reasonable. Our schedule didn't allow us to return as we had planned but will definitely return when we are back in the area...

Solid place for Cajun fare (tons of options), fairly priced, good service…read more We got the crawfish etoufee, seafood gumbo, friend catfish with sides of hush puppies, cut corn, and potato salad, and bread pudding. All food was solid. Seafood gumbo was particularly good. Definitely worth a visit if you are passing through town. For any Midwesterners, you may find the potato salad a little bland. Was expecting a bit more but it was okay. Next time I would skip and get a different side. Most locals seemed to order 1/2 pound of boiled seafood.
