Absolutely phenomenal! C'est Bon transported me straight to the bayou with every bite. The authenticity of the flavors made me feel like I was back home, sharing a meal with family. The gumbo was rich and hearty, the crawfish etouffee perfectly seasoned, and the beignets were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The service was top-notch, with every member of the staff making me feel like I was part of the family. If you're looking for a true taste of Louisiana, this is the spot. Can't wait to come back! The vibe is what makes down the bayou my second home.

Great value , nice experience, Buffett was fully stocked. Simple dinner home cooking prices were perfect! We learned new drink bayou punch! That was fun! Would recommend. Plenty of parking .

So I have been raving about the fried crab claws for months like I was out here in February for Mardi Gras and we went here one evening for dinner and the crab claws were so good I've been talking about it I couldn't wait to get back to Houma to get some more. 9 months later I was not as impressed with the crab claws. This time around my husband and I went for dinner and he had mistakenly ordered a taco salad which why are we getting that out of the seafood restaurant but he thought he was ordering an app and I said you could change your order but when he asked the survey if he could she said it was too late. I ordered my crab claws and a softshell crab deep fried. The claws were good just a little but soft shell crab was delicious and juicy ...like the crab was full of sweet juice. The downfall of this dinner was the entree of catfish with a side of the red beans and rice. I was really getting this as something come nibble on back at the hotel but it turned out we just left the whole dish there and eventually after talking to a manager who said they were going to get the owner they took it off the bill. I love catfish and they have fish on their menu but she told me it was swai which I'm not a fan of so she said that they can substitute for catfish and I said that's fine but when the catfish came out it was definitely catfish nuggets which is the harder more poor portion of the fish. It is not fillets they were very tough even to pull it out part with my finger with the breading off was tough and it was like a yellow inside it was not good representation of seafood. If you know, you know, the server was really nice and overall everyone was pleasant it's just that it wasn't the best meal overall

Came in for a fishing trip with the fam and was very disappointed, when I asked our waitress if the seafood platter was big enough for me and my husband to share because we are big eaters and she said well y'all shouldn't share. The whole time she was very blunt and snarky. We got the platter and it had a decent amount of food but the food was just not the greatest. The gumbo was very watery and smelled super fishy and the fried shrimp, soft shell crab, and fried oysters were all right. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

C'est Bon is a quaint local restaurant with a down home country feel. We started with boudin bites for the appetizer, which were delicious. I opted for the hamburger steak and mashed potatoes while my mom got the BBQ wings and onion wings. Of course, we sampled each other's food. The chicken wings and onion wings were flavorful. My hamburger steak was a tad bitter on first taste, nothing a dash of salt couldn't fix. The mashed potatoes were creamy. The meal was very filling. The host was pleasant and personable. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our food came out in a timely manner. She checked on us regularly. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience eating at C'est Bon. I'll definitely return.

Love to support local businesses! There are plenty unique Cajun dishes to choose from. I love the new location, there is sooo much space inside the restaurant and it's very nicely decorated. Our waitress Tanya was attentive and provided great service! We got a seafood potato, seafood nachos, and fried oysters. I also highly recommend the shrimp burger!! I will be back. Y'all give it a try!!

Our family goes to Cest Bon at least 1 a month because we have a big family and they have a big party room. So it's easy to have the hole family together. But I don't like seafood and they don't have that many options for me . Tonight was steak night and me and my husband both got the steak they were both over cooked but did have a good taste I hope they add a steak to there menu

Rock hard Tiny fried oysters. soft shell crab, mushy, like a grease filled sponge.. with all the debris left inside( yellow green, fat etc.

I have eaten here before for a quick lunch and it was pretty decent. Opted to bring the Misses out for dinner and offered her this as a new choice for her. Sorry Love ! I foolishly ordered the Cest' Bon seafood platter thinking this would allow me a complete sampling of most all of the seafood offerings. $30 was a high price to pay for the experience. It came with a bowl of seafood gumbo, which did not have the best taste and was thin as dirty water. The shrimp and crumbs of crab meat taste very much like canned products , not very fresh tasting. I sent it back after 3 bites. The 8 fried popcorn shrimp and two fish strips were pretty decent, the white beans n rice, again had a funky taste I could not get past. Next was the fried oysters and soft shell crab in the photo below.. oysters were teeny tiny rock like couldn't crunch my way through and the soft shell crab was fried mushy, like a greasy sponge with all the debris left inside, green yellow fats etc. The atmosphere is simple, the service was up to par... but sorry to say, it does not make my list for evening dinning again.

People are pleasant and friendly. I started with chicken/sausage gumbo and there was good flavor in it. If there's any critique, the gumbo was served cold.

Nice little Cajun restaurant. I got the boudin bites appetizer and the seafood gumbo. The boudin bites were really tasty. The gumbo was good but I would try something different next time. My coworkers got poboys and loved them. Their thin cut onion rings were amazing too, I tried some of my coworker's onion rings because they gave him so many

It truly feels like you are stepping back into a time gone past when you find your way into this establishment. Cafe Du Monde is broken up into two distinct environments. One is its interior seating area. It's fine in there if you want to get out of the elements. My choice is the exterior seating area, however. There is just something great about having coffee and a beignet while sitting outside and embracing the weather that New Orleans in known for. It's a fully covered space, so you don't have to worry about getting wet, if it is raining, or anything like that. It is just so much fun to sit there and embrace the day. The way this place works is that if you see a table, you just go and sit at that table. No waiting to be seated required. Once there, one of the staff will quickly come to take your order. They have a limited menu, so ordering is easy. Cash only please! Some of the staff are truly unique individuals. The last time I was there, I had an elder lady, of Chinese descent, helping me. She could barely communicate in English. Luckily, my Mandarin was good enough for us to place or order. Though Mandarin was not her native dialect, we did, none-the-less, communicate. That was an experience. How she helped out the other customers is anyone's guess. I'm just saying, some of the staff at Cafe Du Monde are truly unique individuals. Overall, if you in NOLA, you must go here. It's a fun experience.

Though pop-up showers were still lingering, my husband and I decided to take a gamble on courtyard dining--and I am so glad we did! Sheltered under the green umbrellas surrounded by historic brick walls, lush greenery, and rain-kissed citrus trees, the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and peaceful. The courtyard's intimate layout even brought a bit of extra magic to our evening. We sat near another wonderful couple (and their adorable daughter) and became fast friends, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. What truly anchored the experience, though, was the incredible service. The staff was remarkably personable, helpful, and welcoming. The dinner itself was excellent from start to finish, showcasing immense culinary skill across every dish. We started with the delicious brussels sprouts and a uniquely seasoned spring/summer gumbo that was unlike any version we've had before (oh, what I would give for the recipe). As for the entrées, the shrimp and grits were phenomenal, and the blackened catfish sandwich with a fresh salad was executed flawlessly...and the bread pudding was fantastic, too! It is rare to find an experience where top-tier hospitality, a breathtaking environment, and great food come together so (seemingly) effortlessly. Café Amélie is an absolute must-visit! We will be back.
