A definite stop on the Crawfish Trail. Set right in the Black Bayou, in summertime I'm told the gators come right up to the deck for marshmallows, delighting kids. The staff were very friendly and our waiter, Nina, a wealth of recommendations and great humor. Onion rings and the seafood platter are must haves, those rings are seriously addictive. We had shrimp poboys, oyster poboy and seafood platter. Very well prepared and presented, the cooks really know their business in the kitchen. Skip the bread pudding, that's the only thing we ordered that was pretty meh. Beware the place packs up by 6:00 on Fri and Sat nights due to live music those nights. Give Bayou Delight a try, it's quite a delight!!

Th service was amazing. Got the food out super quick and everyone was incredibly nice. Food was decent. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but there was plenty of options on the menu of new things I'd never had before. I have no problem with the interior, many restaurant where I'm from have the same look and feel. It was a tad bit pricier than we expected given the vibe we got from the place, but overall it was a good experience and I think the person I came with would love to come back in the future. The best part of the meal was the beignets!! True star of the show for us.

Food was okay, but they do not offer tap water and charged me $2.99 for each small bottle of water to have with dinner.

The broth, was pure delicious. How they impart that much flavour into a chicken pho I want to know the secret of. I'd happily buy a couple gallons and take it him to Boston. Service was quick and friendly as well, but with a broth like that, it didn't even register.

It's a no-frills operation and the food is a solid four stars. No fireworks here, but if it's a decent bowl of pho you're looking for, then you will find it here. FYI there is no booze. We started with a few fried pork rolls that were The Usual but fine. One of us got the beef broth with veggies, and she appreciated that there was some bok choy and mushrooms thrown in there in addition to the typical carrots and broccoli. The broth is definitely flavorful. The rare steak pho was thinly sliced and seemed OK, and our daughter was happy with her wonton pho. Service is speedy albeit not necessarily warm. But the soup is hot, and on a cold day, nothing really beats that. Four satisfied stars.

Sitting right on the river, the views alone are worth the stop--especially around sunset when the water and boats set the perfect Louisiana backdrop. The food is where Reno's really shines, especially the buffet. It's well worth it--hot, fresh, and packed with Southern and seafood favorites that are full of flavor. Everything tastes homemade, not rushed, and the selection makes it easy to find something for everyone. You can tell they keep it stocked and take pride in what they serve. The drinks are cold, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it's the kind of place where you can pull up by boat or car and feel right at home. Friendly staff, a laid-back crowd, and live music on the right nights give it that true river-life vibe that keeps people coming back. But no dance floor and no outdoor seating. Well, anyway, we looked over the menu and decided to try the buffet. There was some good stuff there, and some mediocre. Apparently, the locals love it. They were coming in pretty thick by the time we left. Lots of fried seafood options (including alligator, soft shell crab, and frog legs), boiled shrimp, baked catfish, flounder, and a lot of other meat options. You don't see sauce piquant very often, so I had to try the deer sauce piquant from the buffet. It had good flavor, but not much "piquant." Had to add a little Crystal hot sauce. And the meat was tough and chewy. Needed a few more hours in the pot. The flounder was very good. Best thing I tried. The "Cajun style pork" was good, too - chunks of pork and smoky andouille with pineapple and oranges. Very good. The frog legs, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, and alligator were all good, too. The fried catfish was muddy and dirty tasting (hate when that happens). If you're hungry, this is a nice place to get your fill of south Louisiana specialties - I could make an entire meal of the frog legs and Cajun style pork.
