The website said they would be open today Sunday April 28 until 6:00 p.m. but I got there at 5:20 and they were gone.

The manager personally came over to ask about my allergy and to assure me they had gone as far as making a new breading mixture for my entree to avoid cross-contamination. Talk about going the extra mile!! Very impressed with the quality of service and our server Kevin did a fantastic job of taking care of us! Now - the food. We had the chips, salsa and queso to start. The queso is thick, creamy and has just the right touch of spiciness. So good! The salsa is finely chopped and very flavorful. 10/10 on all of the above! Everything fried was delicious!! The seasoning in the breading was good and the sides were a good quantity and also very good. But - the desserts...YUM!! We got the chocolate cake which was so fluffy and coated in chocolate that melted in our mouths. The key lime pie was equally high on the yum factor! Don't skip dessert here!! Can't wait to go back and try more menu items. I'm quite sure everything they make will be worth the trip! Thank you for an amazing experience!!

I ordered grilled salmon and my wife ordered fried catfish. Service was prompt and food was plentiful. My salmon had a cilantro cream sauce that was lightly seasoned and complemented my generous portion of salmon. It was accompanied by some nicely cooked rice and green beans and two hush puppies. My wife enjoyed her generous portion of fried catfish and coleslaw and ate a little of her fries and pinto beans. She said the fries and beans were fine but she was full from all of the catfish. Overall, it was a tasty meal but y'all better be hungry because you're gonna get plenty of eat here. Come check em out!

Paige did a great job as our waitress. They had complimentary valet parking, which was a very nice touch. What I was unimpressed with was the set up for a buffet. Logistically the flow was a nightmare to get to and from the buffet, and my opinion is it would be better if they just stuck to having people order off a menu, and no more buffets. The food was mediocre at best (and prime rib is one of my favorites), the Mac n cheese heating station was inadequate for heating, and the fruit display/dessert table was set up in a totally different room where the guests were dining. Too crowded! They had put out the cheesecake early and it was eventually soggy and runny and there was no sauce for the bread pudding which had gotten hard and tasted old. They had a lady playing the piano, which would have been lovely if they hadn't also been playing their play list overhead, competing with the piano. I ordered a Bloody Mary, which was so salty I was unable to drink it. I didn't eat any of the breakfast items that were available, but my husband enjoyed some of them. I am not usually one to complain at a restaurant, but I'm hopeful that my comments will be helpful since this was their first attempt at a buffet.

My friend and my girlfriend both ordered their espresso martini that my friend claimed was the best espresso martini in town, while I got the bartender's recommendation of the Animal Style, a pineapple and jalapeño infused tequila with strawberries, cardamom bitters, and a lemon peel garnish. Normally, I hate any drink that is spicy. I cannot stand a Bloody Mary because I don't believe drinks should be allowed to be spicy, but this one, for having jalapeño, is not spicy at all. If anything, it's slightly savory with its tropical flavor. The bartender was great. They have appetizers and tapas as well and as my girlfriend sat down, she really wanted just one of their fresh oysters. I ordered her just one to try and it was $4.25. They gave us the smallest one they could find. The tiniest oyster of all time. I guess size really didn't matter because according to her it was very good. I would go back and have a few more cocktails, but it is a nice place to hang out on the square on a Friday night. A good time to be had by all. RIYL: The finest, most $15ish cocktail you can find.

They get overwhelmed quickly. We have been several times and it is always like this if there is more than 6 people in the restaurant. They only have one guy doing food and two bar tenders. We like to order a mix of oysters They have available and then do another dozen of our favorites. We end up waiting an hour+ between when we get the first set and get the second set. Restaurant is cute on the inside and the cocktails are good.
