We slipped in on a Friday night for Crablegs and drinks. They had a live band which is always a plus. We had crab legs, sausage, crayfish with eggs, corn, and potatoes. It was about $50 for a huge tin of seafood filled with veggies and sausage. I think it could easily feed a family of 4. Honestly it is a really good bargain because it is cooked to perfection. Tried this new place and it's okay. We told our waitress it was our first time and she was helpful in making our choices. The fried shrimp were good. Onion rings are not homemade but were okay. The gumbo was very thick and didn't taste like a good Cajun gumbo. First of all, nothing was truly hot which seemed odd. The snow crab legs were very soft and the crackers were worthless when trying to get the meat out, what little was there. The scallops were overcooked and chewy. Boiled potatoes were okay, but only lukewarm. The corn on the cob tasted good, but was also only warm. My guess is that everything was precooked then thrown in a steamer bag. with seasonings. Our waitress must have known, because she was only a drive-by from the time we got our food. Not worth the money by a long shot. Save yours and go somewhere else. We won't be back. read more

Customer service was great we were a pretty large group of mostly kids but the waiters were very attentive, friendly, and patient. The restaurant is clean and the vibes were great! There was live music we were not expecting and we loved! The food was delicious!!! The shrimp cocktail was excellent. I would describe the shrimp has medium sized, but if I were from California, I might refer to them as small. I had a bite of my husbands gumbo & had to order some. It only had a couple of shrimp & sausage so I wouldn't call it seafood, but it was quite good. For dessert, my husband had funnel cake which was like any other funnel cake. I had Key lime pie which was delicious. Meghan, our server, was excellent & so personable. The restaurant was clean, well decorated, & spacious. The night we went had live music by Saxophone player Sean! It was a great addition to truly excellent food! We LOVED the soft shell crab appetizer! And we shared a "boil bag" of King crab legs, scallops, and "naked shrimp" . Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned exactly how we ordered. The potatoes, corn & the delicious boil spices (you choose your own. We chose the "all in" - can't remember the name) and they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. I took 1 star b/c I found the spices a bit too salty. I hope that when I return, and I certainly will, I can simply request "hold the salt". Other seasonings more than make up for outstanding flavor.
