We were nervous at first, but man this place is awesome. It's like a Louisiana Cajun style seafood place that is owned by what seem to be very efficient and nice Chinese family. The servers are quick and friendly, but overall-- THE PLATTERs are just on a whole other level. Seven ladies ordered 3 of the big combos and it was way too much food. It was about $50 for a huge tin of seafood filled with veggies and sausage. I think it could easily feed a family of 4. Honestly it is a really good bargain because it is cooked to perfection. The place seemed pretty popular with locals and had live music! The guys singing were excellent! This is a great place for groups looking for a fun time.

Tried this new place and it's okay. We told our waitress it was our first time and she was helpful in making our choices. The fried shrimp were good. Onion rings are not homemade but were okay. The gumbo was very thick and didn't taste like a good Cajun gumbo. First of all, nothing was truly hot which seemed odd. The snow crab legs were very soft and the crackers were worthless when trying to get the meat out, what little was there. The scallops were overcooked and chewy. Boiled potatoes were okay, but only lukewarm. The corn on the cob tasted good, but was also only warm. My guess is that everything was precooked then thrown in a steamer bag. with seasonings. Our waitress must have known, because she was only a drive-by from the time we got our food. Not worth the money by a long shot. Save yours and go somewhere else. We won't be back.

Huge combo- 2 lbs of snow crab, 2 lbs shrimp, 2 lbs crawfish, 2 lbs of mussels and clams. Potatoes, eggs, and corn

Customer service was great we were a pretty large group of mostly kids but the waiters were very attentive, friendly, and patient. The restaurant is clean and the vibes were great! There was live music we were not expecting and we loved! The food was delicious!!! We got a Huge combo deal which included 2 lbs of snow crab, 2 lbs shrimp, 2 lbs crawfish, 2 lbs of mussels and clams. Potatoes, eggs, and corn. It was enough to feed 2 adults and 3 kids with plenty of left overs. We also had their fried catfish which was delicious!

Great food! Lots of GLUTEN FREE options, just ask. Service was fast and attentive but they got our order wrong. Prices are decent for the amount of food you get. Like the gloves and bib that come with also.

Went there today for the first time! After 4 on a Monday when it was raining really hard, so there was only two other tables that had customers in them. So we were greeted and sat down immediately! Our waiter was really nice. I got a spicy mango drink. It was pretty strong and really good. I got the Combo A and my wife got the Combo B, or vice versa, Cajun and Garlic Butter, and HOT. When i tell you it was good and hot, Geesh! We will be back and then I'll try the Mexican Candy shot.

The seafood boil was good the only thing that kind of ruined our first experience was the waitress. She wasn't friendly or helpful.

My friend and my girlfriend both ordered their espresso martini that my friend claimed was the best espresso martini in town, while I got the bartender's recommendation of the Animal Style, a pineapple and jalapeño infused tequila with strawberries, cardamom bitters, and a lemon peel garnish. Normally, I hate any drink that is spicy. I cannot stand a Bloody Mary because I don't believe drinks should be allowed to be spicy, but this one, for having jalapeño, is not spicy at all. If anything, it's slightly savory with its tropical flavor. The bartender was great. They have appetizers and tapas as well and as my girlfriend sat down, she really wanted just one of their fresh oysters. I ordered her just one to try and it was $4.25. They gave us the smallest one they could find. The tiniest oyster of all time. I guess size really didn't matter because according to her it was very good. I would go back and have a few more cocktails, but it is a nice place to hang out on the square on a Friday night. A good time to be had by all. RIYL: The finest, most $15ish cocktail you can find.

This is where we get ready to cha cha, swing, rhumba, and tango. Ran into my fellow veteran friend Al whom I met my first time here. Wonderful food, friends, and company. You'll love it too. Go !

There's plenty of nice local establishments, but some can be pricey and some are just more casual than you want. Scott Williams has perfected the restaurants of Tyler that are balanced between affordable and still quite nice. He got his toes in the water with FDs, before expanding into Javi's, Twelve, and now the fanciest of them all in III Palms. I thought of all those options, Twelve would be the most unique and tasty for my girlfriend and I. We went in an hour before they closed on a Sunday and were seated immediately. We weren't too hungry so we didn't expect to be there past their closing time, and we were ready to go. Our waiter was quick and attentive, bringing us water and helping us decide on drinks from the bar and our order. He also showed us their insane over-the-top whiskey menu. If you like whiskey, give Twelve a shot I guess. To order, I just got their 'Osaka Style' Pressed Roll while my girlfriend got a Sushi Bowl Salad. We got Sweet Potato Fries to share. As for drinks, I started with their Monkey See, Monkey Do, an impressive and firm beverage, while my girlfriend ordered their Destin Dream, a fun Pina Colada-like drink. It wasn't long before our food came out. The sushi was beautifully plated with some wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. I destroyed all the rolls. They were all very fresh and very high quality, which was remarkable for their $13.50 price tag. My girlfriend's sushi bowl looked insane. She ate most of it, but I filled the gaps and devoured the rest of it. The sweet potato fries were crispy and heavenly like all sweet potato fries usually are. I felt adventurous and I got a second drink of their Rose Garden, which was simple but flavorful. Compared to FDs, the menu might be a little more sea-inspired and more adventurous, but I think it leads to better, more unique food, especially with offerings like Oyster Rockefeller and a sushi bar. I also know Twelve does a great brunch as well, so keep that on your radar. Ultimately, as the bill came, the price was very manageable even with the alcohol. It's nice that you don't fully have to break the bank to have a nice meal in Tyler thanks to places like Twelve. I rate it a 12/10. Get it? hahahaha... RIYL: A slightly adventurous, but affordable night out.
