III Palms is a solid fine dining restaurants when considering all things. My coworkers and I went here as a group of three. We had no reservations but were seated immediately. The ambiance is modern, upscale steakhouse: bright but inviting, big wine cellar, and open kitchen. Everybody was extremely nice, and the service was good throughout. For drinks, I ordered the house variation of the old fashioned which came wood smoked tableside. It was a great drink overall, and from what I could sense from the wine selection, those would have been excellent as well. My table ordered a good array of food options including the coffee rubbed filet, the oysters Rockefeller, brussels sprouts, and more. Overall, the food was good, but not quite great. The bread was quite standard and did not compare to the unique varieties and freshness you can get at other steakhouses. The steak was similar - while good, the edges did not have a hard sear. Further the coffee rubbed filet was unique but I personally didn't find it as interesting or conducive to depth of flavor as the home created rubs at other steakhouses. One of the biggest pleasant surprises however was the price. For a presentationally upscale steakhouse, the prices were generally in the $40-60 range. Even with drinks and appetizers, our bill for three I think just grazed $200. All in, III Palms is a great choice for a date or business dinner. While the food can be tweaked further, the rest of the experience was very good. Ambiance: 4/5 Service: 4.5/5 Drinks: 4.5/5 Food: 3.5/5 Value: 5/5 Consistency: N/A

A little pre Valentine dinner at III Palms was just right. We made reservations for earlier in the evening and glad we did. The service could not have been better! Caleb was just the Best! He not only took care of our needs, but had a Great attitude. Our meal: Braised Short Rib Mashed potatoes Brussels sprouts Crab Cakes Wedge Cheesecake The food was wonderful and the serving sizes were just right. My wife and I will certainly be back, it was that good. I must mention everything was decorated so nice. Candles, flowers and music made for a special occasion. When we were leaving, the hostess gave my wife a "little gold box" of candy. Talk about putting the cherry on the top to a Great evening! Thank you III Palms.

I visited 3 Palms Restaurant in Tyler and had the steak. The food was okay nothing too memorable but not bad either. The customer service was also just okay and could have been a bit more attentive. Overall it was an average experience.

III Palms is truly a new gem in Tyler. The ambiance here is elegant, inviting, and perfect for a special night out. From the chic decor to the well-curated atmosphere, it's clear that every detail is thoughtfully designed. The food and service only elevate the experience further. Easily one of the best dining spots in the Tyler area. Make sure to get a reservation and arrive early, you might have a wait time. However, there is a nice bar and a piano player to keep you entertained. Giant Short Rib. Don't skip the Pork Belly.

This restaurant was very busy for Fathers Day and the service and food was incredible. They have such a teamwork environment that it was pleasant from start to finish! Great experience and we will be back.

The restaurant itself is enough to impress anyone. Every single meal was made to perfection! Try not to skip on the appetizers! The whipped feta, mozzarella with balsamic and crab cakes were all delicious and impressed the palate wonderfully! All of our steaks were made exactly as we asked. Tomahawk steak was cut right in front of us! Oh and the potato puree along with Brussels sprouts were my absolute favorite sides together! Gabriel was our server and was an absolute gem. He was extremely attentive, kind and very welcoming. Great job! We will be back for our next birthday bash!

We had reservations and had advised it was my wife's birthday. We were greeted and served with such respect for her birthday. Allen was our server and he was fantastic. He took tons of pics for us and offered amazing drink and food selections. We felt so special under his care! Food was fantastic. I had steak medallions and my wife had Risotto Chicken and Broccoli. Both were tasty and beautifully served. No complsints! Would highly recommend this amazing restaurant. It's beautiful inside also!

WORST STEAK EVER! So disappointing! We went there on Sat to celebrate my birthday. We ordered a Tomahawk Med Rare and it came to the table nearly raw. The young lady that sliced it table side clearly has not been trained on how to slice meat. It looked like a toddler had carved it with kitchen scissors. See pics. Big chunks , little chunks, thick slices, thin slices... It was tough and chewy with almost no flavor.... For wait for ... $108! There was zero juice from the meat. I tried to reheat it the next day thinking I could maybe salvage some of it but it was just as tough the next day and was not even edible. It was so bad that I fed my $108 steak to my dog! Note to III Palms management : Please teach your chefs how to cook steak and your carvers how to not butcher a $108 steak. Your restaurant has potential and has a great vibe, but bottom line... you are a STEAK house, the steak needs to be good and yours was not even edible.

There's plenty of nice local establishments, but some can be pricey and some are just more casual than you want. Scott Williams has perfected the restaurants of Tyler that are balanced between affordable and still quite nice. He got his toes in the water with FDs, before expanding into Javi's, Twelve, and now the fanciest of them all in III Palms. I thought of all those options, Twelve would be the most unique and tasty for my girlfriend and I. We went in an hour before they closed on a Sunday and were seated immediately. We weren't too hungry so we didn't expect to be there past their closing time, and we were ready to go. Our waiter was quick and attentive, bringing us water and helping us decide on drinks from the bar and our order. He also showed us their insane over-the-top whiskey menu. If you like whiskey, give Twelve a shot I guess. To order, I just got their 'Osaka Style' Pressed Roll while my girlfriend got a Sushi Bowl Salad. We got Sweet Potato Fries to share. As for drinks, I started with their Monkey See, Monkey Do, an impressive and firm beverage, while my girlfriend ordered their Destin Dream, a fun Pina Colada-like drink. It wasn't long before our food came out. The sushi was beautifully plated with some wasabi and pickled ginger on the side. I destroyed all the rolls. They were all very fresh and very high quality, which was remarkable for their $13.50 price tag. My girlfriend's sushi bowl looked insane. She ate most of it, but I filled the gaps and devoured the rest of it. The sweet potato fries were crispy and heavenly like all sweet potato fries usually are. I felt adventurous and I got a second drink of their Rose Garden, which was simple but flavorful. Compared to FDs, the menu might be a little more sea-inspired and more adventurous, but I think it leads to better, more unique food, especially with offerings like Oyster Rockefeller and a sushi bar. I also know Twelve does a great brunch as well, so keep that on your radar. Ultimately, as the bill came, the price was very manageable even with the alcohol. It's nice that you don't fully have to break the bank to have a nice meal in Tyler thanks to places like Twelve. I rate it a 12/10. Get it? hahahaha... RIYL: A slightly adventurous, but affordable night out.

My friend and my girlfriend both ordered their espresso martini that my friend claimed was the best espresso martini in town, while I got the bartender's recommendation of the Animal Style, a pineapple and jalapeño infused tequila with strawberries, cardamom bitters, and a lemon peel garnish. Normally, I hate any drink that is spicy. I cannot stand a Bloody Mary because I don't believe drinks should be allowed to be spicy, but this one, for having jalapeño, is not spicy at all. If anything, it's slightly savory with its tropical flavor. The bartender was great. They have appetizers and tapas as well and as my girlfriend sat down, she really wanted just one of their fresh oysters. I ordered her just one to try and it was $4.25. They gave us the smallest one they could find. The tiniest oyster of all time. I guess size really didn't matter because according to her it was very good. I would go back and have a few more cocktails, but it is a nice place to hang out on the square on a Friday night. A good time to be had by all. RIYL: The finest, most $15ish cocktail you can find.

I was not to hot on the idea of eating at this place since bar food can be a "hit or miss" at it's best. Found the place, especially since we don't get to Tyler that often. Okay, doesn't look like a horrible place, around 3ish, I can do a late lunch, early dinner. Walk in, a couple of people in there, bartender tells us to set wherever we want to. Brings us menus, gets our drinks. The place has a Vietnamese type menu with some really good looking burger sandwiches on it too, so I'm undecided of what I want. The bartender tells us that the burgers are the choice the crowds usually. I got the Sky Burger, I think that is what it was called. Excellent burger and choice. The Chef, owner and the bartender provided excellent service. The bartender was on top of his game always checking on us to see if we needed anything and if we were satisfied.
