I ordered the special that was a filet with shrimp, asparagus, and potatoes. Mine was very good but the asparagus didn't have any flavor. The downside of the evening was my husband's New York Prime Strip. Very thin and not that great tasting for the price and for a upscale restaurant. I am not going to mention the name of steak house but he mentioned he had a better steak from a local chain steakhouse. Wished I had taken a photo cause I too was surprised how thin the steak was. Normally a New York Strip is thicker than that. I would go back, I will just have to convince my husband cause I am not sure he would. read more

III Palms is a solid fine dining restaurants when considering all things. My coworkers and I went here as a group of three. We had no reservations but were seated immediately. The ambiance is modern, upscale steakhouse: bright but inviting, big wine cellar, and open kitchen. Everybody was extremely nice, and the service was good throughout. For drinks, I ordered the house variation of the old fashioned which came wood smoked tableside. It was a great drink overall, and from what I could sense from the wine selection, those would have been excellent as well. My table ordered a good array of food options including the coffee rubbed filet, the oysters Rockefeller, brussels sprouts, and more. Overall, the food was good, but not quite great. The bread was quite standard and did not compare to the unique varieties and freshness you can get at other steakhouses. The steak was similar - while good, the edges did not have a hard sear. Further the coffee rubbed filet was unique but I personally didn't find it as interesting or conducive to depth of flavor as the home created rubs at other steakhouses. One of the biggest pleasant surprises however was the price. For a presentationally upscale steakhouse, the prices were generally in the $40-60 range. Even with drinks and appetizers, our bill for three I think just grazed $200. All in, III Palms is a great choice for a date or business dinner. A little pre Valentine dinner at III Palms was just right. We made reservations for earlier in the evening and glad we did. The service could not have been better! Caleb was just the Best! He not only took care of our needs, but had a Great attitude. Our meal: Braised Short Rib Mashed potatoes Brussels sprouts Crab Cakes Wedge Cheesecake The food was wonderful and the serving sizes were just right. My husband made reservations here to celebrate our anniversary and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The ambiance is upscale yet relaxed which I feel is a perfect mix. We ordered oysters and a salad for starters, New York Prime Strip & the Medallion plate for our mains and finished with cheesecake and bread pudding for dessert. Everything was prepared to our liking and had good flavor (well I felt the Caesar was tossed in a little bit too much dressing, but otherwise it was good). We dined at Three Palms today for a special Mother's Day meal. Trevor was our server and provided excellent service. It was very busy because of the special day and Trevor told us that the kitchen was taking a little longer than usual to get the food out. We were not in a hurry so we ordered the fried green tomatoes with crab as an appetizer. It was delicious and served with an incredible sauce. My wife and I both ordered the grilled salmon with risotto and asparagus. Our daughter ordered the pasta with chicken. It took a little while to receive our food but it was worth the wait to enjoy our delicious meals. I had a glass of a red blend wine from the Columbia Valley and it too was delicious. The whipped feta, mozzarella with balsamic and crab cakes were all delicious and impressed the palate wonderfully! All of our steaks were made exactly as we asked. WORST STEAK EVER! So disappointing! We went there on Sat to celebrate my birthday. We ordered a Tomahawk Med Rare and it came to the table nearly raw. The young lady that sliced it table side clearly has not been trained on how to slice meat. It looked like a toddler had carved it with kitchen scissors. See pics. Big chunks , little chunks, thick slices, thin slices... It was tough and chewy with almost no flavor.... For wait for ... $108! There was zero juice from the meat. I tried to reheat it the next day thinking I could maybe salvage some of it but it was just as tough the next day and was not even edible. It was so bad that I fed my $108 steak to my dog! Note to III Palms management : Please teach your chefs how to cook steak and your carvers how to not butcher a $108 steak. We went to the father's day brunch. Very disappointed in the food. The service was wonderful but food was sub par. Ambiance was good. They charged 40.00 a person (adult). Think they should have had better food and charged more. Premium items were prime rib roast beef (delicious) mac and cheese bar, shrimp, oysters, cesar salad. Our first time at III Palms restaurant was their Father's Day buffet on 6/21/26. The atmosphere is nice and inviting, and the service was excellent. Paige did a great job as our waitress. They had complimentary valet parking, which was a very nice touch. What I was unimpressed with was the set up for a buffet. Logistically the flow was a nightmare to get to and from the buffet, and my opinion is it would be better if they just stuck to having people order off a menu, and no more buffets. The food was mediocre at best (and prime rib is one of my favorites), the Mac n cheese heating station was inadequate for heating, and the fruit display/dessert table was set up in a totally different room where the guests were dining. Too crowded! They had put out the cheesecake early and it was eventually soggy and runny and there was no sauce for the bread pudding which had gotten hard and tasted old. They had a lady playing the piano, which would have been lovely if they hadn't also been playing their play list overhead, competing with the piano. I ordered a Bloody Mary, which was so salty I was unable to drink it. I didn't eat any of the breakfast items that were available, but my husband enjoyed some of them. I am not usually one to complain at a restaurant, but I'm hopeful that my comments will be helpful since this was their first attempt at a buffet. read more

The food was great, but honestly, Logan's exceptional hospitality is what made this birthday dinner truly memorable. Appetizers amazing but the wine took 20 minutes to come out as well as an hour delay for our food. Dessert took 35 mins because they ran out of bananas and had to acquire some. The only reason we didn't dispute and walk out was the server Kaleb. Disappointed is the least I can say. read more

The most romantic restaurant I have ever been to. My husband and I went the day after Valentine's Day. We were not seated in the main restaurant, but in a smaller building across the courtyard. It was quaint and incredibly charming, complete with a pianist and guitarist. Our waitress was so nice and answer all of our questions. We had the pork belly for an appetizer, we shared the filet and lobster tail with asparagus and Brussels sprouts for dinner, and then finished with crème brûlée cheesecake for dessert. Three Palms is a welcome addition to the dining scene in Tyler. Beautifully appointed and centrally located. Recently opened and some things (ie patio) will be available in the coming months. The large bar is separated from the dining area and has table seating. Their craft cocktails are something you must try! We had the Caesar salad along with sea bass and the pork chop. The salad is divine and the fish and pork chop were delicious. Our only issue was with the baked potatoes. They were lukewarm at best and wouldn't melt the butter. After returning them, they came back to the table not much better. Our server was polite, knowledgeable and very attentive. Having dined at all the sister restaurants from the same owner, I'm certain any kinks will be quickly worked out and that this will be a jewel for Tyler! read more
