Now speaking of the wait--you're looking at about 20-30 minutes, and yes, they will tell you that upfront. But honestly, that's because they're double frying everything fresh to order. The sweet chili wings had that perfect sticky, flavorful glaze and not soaked or swimming in sauce like other places. The Cajun (dry rub) wings came through with a nice seasoned kick without punching you in the face. And the fries? The fries were well-seasoned, and they were very tasty, good even - however, they could have been a bit more cooked for my taste. I like when French fries have a bit of crisp to them. I will admit, I was stuck for a few minutes trying to figure out what style of fries I wanted. 25 minute wait which I was okay with because I prefer fresh over fast. Service was pleasant and helpful. Establishment was clean and lightly decorated. It wasn't crowded but consistent on 3 people at a time. I had a large party with me so we got 6 orders of wings and fries. Items sold separately. We had the flavors sweet and spicy, garlic parm, soy garlic and lemon pepper. It was very crispy by the time we got back to the place which was a good thing. The wings were decent to really good. The soy garlic being the best of them all, ironic that it is the traditional flavor. The least liked flavor was lemon pepper which was shocking. Garlic parm came in second best while sweet & spicy played the middle of both really good and just good enough. We got variations of fries which included Cajun, regular, and parm. The wings here, and basically every other CravWings location are great. I'm not a fan of places though that don't have anywhere to sit. Some people, like me, prefer to sit, chill and eat right away. This place is strictly take out or delivery, so no sense post a picture of the interior. If you've seen one mildly enthusiastic guy behind plexiglass, you've seen them all. The food as you're probably aware is Korean Fried Chicken. Oddly enough, a couple of feet away H-Mart is also selling Korean chicken. Back to the food. I'm a dry rub kinda guy, so we went with the Cajun and Lemmon pepper double fried wings. Quite good, though we preferred the Cajun. Also came with a boatload of wet naps, very cool. Regarding the service, I'm going to go off the rails a bit. So apparently you need to order 25 minutes in advance as they cook it fresh and to order. My boyfriend picked up some CravWings for dinner & I was so excited! I can't really speak to the service or ambiance of the restaurant but the food was really yummy. To start off the fries were so crispy I was in literal fry heaven. I tried the soy garlic bone in wings & they were perfectly cooked! I liked the taste but I think I would've preferred a hotter flavor being that I'm a mild wing lover. The soy garlic wings had a bit of a sweetness to it. I love korean fried chicken wings, and there is finally a place close enough to the bronx to drive to get some. I ordered the soy garlic bone in wings, and it was freshly cooked and crispy. It took a long wait as the wait time after your order is about 30 mins, but it is sooooo worth it. My boyfriend ordered the sweet and spicy boneless wings. I found the spice to be mild compared to other places, so hopefully, it will get spicier. The workers were very nice. The wings here are absolutely delicious! They are double fried really well and have an amazing crunch to them! Definitely a place for authentic korean chicken wings. The wings are pretty large in size, and generously covered in sauce. I tried their soy garlic (huge fan of this one) and the sweet and spicy (okay with this one). Their flavor selection isn't the longest -- the remaining flavors I have yet to try are their buffalo and hot pepper soy (also a new cheddar flavor, but I think I'll pass on that) so hopefully will get the chance to come back at some point. I placed my order online, but when I got there 40 minutes later they had just received the order. TLDR: A low key wings expert confirms these are excellent wings and fries. I keep coming back to Cravwings since I discovered them around 2018 for the best wings in Westchester. I typically get six or ten wings, with the hot pepper and soy garlic flavors, and a small cheese fries, or another fry-flavor. The bigger order I split with a friend, the smaller is a big meal for myself hahaha. Boy, let me tell you, having lived in upstate New York for a year near Buffalo, and also having had wings all over NYC and barbecue wings many times in Virginia and Texas -- these are outstanding wings. Really the crispiest I've had, very juicy, great Korean-style wings. I first discovered them after having a good experience in KTown NYC around 2017, but I've realized Cravwings' wings stand on their own merits as excellent. Their other stuff is fine, but I'd skip the tenders and dumplings and hone in straight on wings and fries. Speaking of which, these fries are excellent. So many places get fries wrong, but here they are also double fried to be remarkably crisp, not too small, and stand up to extra toppings (the sriracha Mayo, cheese, or ranch-Buffalo are all worth it). I love everything about this place (except for delivery because I have to pay Uber eats ). They thought about every little detail in the packaging and I think that was pretty nice. Everything comes on a clear bag (next time I'll take a picture) The wings come on a square box, the celery and dressing come on a ziploc, they give a lot of napkins and before I forget they also put hand sanitizer and ketchup.
