Please keep in mind that this was a DoorDash delivery. This Yonkers spot has sushi and Japanese mainly. I'm not a sushi person and was nursing a cold, so I wanted some comfort food. First, the mushroom soup was on point. Despite delivery, it was wicked hot, just the right amount of spice, full of flavor, and was the perfect thing for my congested soul. I also got the harumaki, or Japanese ring roll, which was pretty standard. The beef teriyaki lunch (grilled beef glazed with teriyaki sauce, served with miso soup, rice, and salad) was pretty good. Savory, rich. Not a large portion, so not overfilling. Can be combined with some of their other dishes. I have mixed feelings on the beef fried rice. The beef was kinda cold and chewy. There was also chicken mixed in somehow, but that didn't bother me. The stir-fried rice itself was good, mixed with scallions. I just think I would have probably chosen another protein. This place serves a lot of sushi. They compose lunch boxes, which are served with soup, rice, salad, shumai, and a California roll. They serve bento boxes as well. Serve several hot appetizers, other hot soups, salads (seaweed, avocado, salmon skin). They also have noodle dishes (udon, yaki soba, beef sukiyaki, and more). Multiple varieties of tempura. Entrees include katsu pork and chicken, chicken yakitori (skewers), shrimp, salmon, and chilean sea bass. I wouldn't seek this as an in-person dining experience, but for a workday, great delivery, fast, arrives fresh and hot and correctly, and tons of options, including combos, bento boxes, and lunch specials.

Rating: (4/5) I recently visited this place to try out their All-You-Can-Eat menu. Overall, it was a solid dining experience, but there is some room for improvement. The Food What sets this place apart from some other sushi spots is that the price includes a full selection of kitchen food alongside the sushi. We were able to jump between fresh nigiri and hot appetizers like tempura, crab Rangoon , sweet and sour chicken, and many others; which made for a much more balanced meal. The quality of the fish was fresh, and the kitchen dishes arrived hot and well-seasoned. Why 4 Stars instead of 5? The only real drawback was the variety. While everything we ate was good, the menu felt a bit limited for an "All-You-Can-Eat" establishment. I would have loved to see a wider range of signature rolls or more diverse kitchen options. It felt like we ran out of new things to try fairly quickly. Final Verdict If you want a mix of sushi and hot Japanese comfort food, this is a great spot. If they expanded their menu options a bit more, it would easily be a 5-star experience!

Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box Lunch ($14) - did the trick

We got delivery lunch on a weekday. Prices on specials were nice! I liked my salmon teriyaki box, which also included California rolls and shumai and more. The whole meal was definitely fulfilling. I was particularly happy with the beef negimaki, and I'll definitely order it again. Solid menu offerings.

    Shumai

Khangri has the best Shumai in all of NYC. I swear. The place is spotless, super clean and with a minimal look. I'm so grateful that we have a place like this in Yonkers because it's very rare to find. The staff is nice and helpful, they'll tell you what they think you'll like and I always listen. I always crave their food when I'm not around and that says a lot. I cannot wait until the next time i order from you guys. Wonderful quality food.

As always, we enjoy coming here we love it better than Brunch all you can eat we don't have to have a drink and we have fresh seafood tempura great teriyaki, quick service and the ambience is wonderful. It is in South Yonkers, but on a Sunday you can get Parking because parking is a little hard but it has great turnaround because courthouse is right across the street and so is Dmv , so if you want fresh sushi teriyaki and I would come here have a girls day go with your boyfriend whatever works I do both

My partner and I were craving all you can eat sushi... as we do :) we are regular all you can eat type of people! The service was average. Nothing special and nothing horrible. They were very quick and attentive. The sushi was pretty good, but not the best I've ever had. If you are craving sushi and all you can eat I would say this is a mediocre place. There is easy street parking here or along the park nearby. The inside is very large and nicely decorated. However it did not feel super clean. The whole time I felt somewhat off put by the cleanliness of the floors. I don't think I would come back but I did enjoy my meal.

    Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box

Ordered the Salmon Teriyaki Bento Box, and was delivered via GrubHub. The salmon itself was grossly UNDERCOOKED. Borderline RAW. The rest of the meal didn't matter, because they've definitely lost a regular customer. Giving one is overrating. But Yelp won't allow me to give ZERO s.

    All you can eat sushi

One of my favorite sushi places in the area. Once you enter you can enjoy the full decor and atmosphere of the restaurant. The best part is the all you can eat sushi deal for $25. You can have all the hot appetizers, and fresh sushi you want. For people who want to try all the different kinds of sushi in one go this is your chance. Keep in mind they do have a notice saying if you don't finish all the food on your plate they will charge you the full price for the remaining rolls. This might be an inconvenience to some but it is a good way to reduce food waste. Don't order a large amount of food if you don't plan on eating it. The best way is to order two to three rolls at a time and then order more as you go. We ended up ordering many rolls for our party and were completely satisfied.

My absolute favorite spot for all you can eat sushi!Unfortunately, the prices have gone up in the past two years, but that being said... it's all you can eat! Pepper tuna, a must. Kani salad, a must. You can't go wrong with the specialty rolls, we've tried them all and love them all! Good drinks and good desserts also. Highly recommend

The only issue was that it's a little awkward being the only table in the restaurant and sitting at the sushi bar... Cause we had like eight people attending us and looking at us and listening to our every word. But you can look at it in another way and assume it felt like more of a private dining experience, which is cool. Because it was our first time there, we didn't wanna opt for the Omakase because my husband and I have had mediocre Omakase experiences and they don't come cheap. And something we didn't realize that this place does, that many other Omakase places don't do, is make their sauces in house to pair with the fish. A lot of omakase spots locally don't care to make a budget for sauces when they can get it ready made. A huge unique selling point of this place was at each sauce was separately made and stored in different containers to pair with the fish it was intended for... And when the chef had mentioned that a lot of Omakase places don't do this, It made a lot of sense. We ordered the Hamachi Jalapeño, tuna Crispy rice, tuna 5 ways, single nigiri pieces of sea bream and mackerel on my side and my husband ordered more basic pieces which I can't recall. We also Ordered the Hokkaido scallop cucumber roll. As soon as we tried the apps, we regretted not doing the omakase just because we knew it was gonna be that good. For Context, I haven't found any place in New Jersey that felt like a go to sushi spot that had high-quality fish, incredible pairings and seemingly consistent. The Hamachi jalapeño were bigger cuts of tuna with like this jalapeño paste sauce. It was amazing and proper spicy. No addtl sauce needed. The crispy rice tuna was insane. The hot rice paired with the cold tuna and their fixings were amazing. It didn't look like much, but it packed a huge punch of flavor. I think it might be the wasabi they use But both the wasabi and soy sauce were insanely good The tuna way of our little attempt at omakase ish. They gave you four pieces of Nigiri ( 2 being fatty tuna pieces) And a chopped tuna hand roll. I'm a texture person so I wasn't a fan of the hand, but each piece of tuna was better than the next. The fatty ones were insanely melty and lovely And I just really goes to show that I don't think I've had good high quality, fresh sushi or fish from many places Because no place matched up to this. I had ordered a piece of sea bream which was insanely good. I've never tried anything like that before and if I could, I would order 20 of those alone. The mackerel was really good and not fishy at all as well. The Hokkaido scallop Cucumber roll was very simple, but packed a huge bunch of flavor when you dipped it in the spicy sauce that it was paired with alongside a soy sauce wasabi combo. You could taste the quality and freshness. I was drinking a glass of sparkling wine... The wine was fine before I had the sushi... But drinking a sip while eating my sushi totally changed my palette as the sparkling wine paired so well that it became sweet. Last, but not least the miso cheesecake - Absolutely incredible and made in house. We ordered two more to go And they thought we were joking. That's how good it was. I don't miss New York City when I have sushi from places like this.

I enjoyed the best spider roll of my life. The soft shell crab was encased in the most perfect rice. My boyfriend was wowed with his selections and the green tea was fresh, hot and satisfying. I also enjoy the kitchen apps and entrées- the miso eggplant and agedashi tofu are great appetizers. The salmon teriyaki is always perfectly cooked and accompanied by fresh vegetables. As other reviewers have mentioned- the construction of the rolls can suffer at times- for me this usually looks like 1 at most 2 pieces losing their integrity when I pick them up. My friends and I agree that this is Riverdale, not A sushi hotspot desitation and we would rather sacrifice a point on the physical construction /proper sushi technique than go somewhere else that has beautiful perfectly rolled sushi- with less fresh fish or rolls that are more rice than filling. Also- the sushi IS good! I usually go for salmon, tuna and a sweet potato tempura roll The lunch specials (monday-saturday until 3:15 pm) are a really good deal and come with pretty good miso soup and a fresh side salad. I am appreciative that they run a little later in the day as well. Aoyu has always been very reasonable abt modifications- there is no upcharge for brown rice for lunch bento- easy to request veggie instead of pork gyoza, and I really don't like crab- imitation or otherwise- so they always let me sub a cucumber avocado roll instead. Thanks for being such a great restaurant in riverdale Aoyu!

Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly depending on your grasp of history, Poke is actually a Hawaiian dish.
