Absolutely delicious and incredibly friendly staff/owners. The folks at Cravings Cafe were kind enough to allow us to host our post wedding brunch at their restaurant. They were gracious hosts and cranked out so much food for our group of 20-ish in a relatively short amount of time. Everything was perfectly cooked and was so very tasty! Brioche is back! After what seems like forever (and had to seem longer for the kind folks who run the place) Cravings is open in its new location. And while the wait has been long, it has certainly been worth it. For those who remember the Italian Village location, everything you loved about the food remains true. Most importantly, their delicious brioche rolls still enjoy a prominent place on the menu. That menu is small but excellent. I highly recommend the club, which features large pieces of well-prepared chicken. The other sandwiches also come highly recommended, although I sensed some jealousy on the part of dining companions who had bread other than the brioche. The changing specials have all been delicious as well, meaning that it's unlikely you'll tire of the place any time soon. Thankfully, the space is a bit larger than the old location. It's still not huge though. And once word spreads, I fully expect them to be bustling. So competition may be fierce for a table during rush times. Finally, they're not just sandwiches. The cookies are terrific, as one might expect from a shop that started like as Cookie Cravings. They also make donuts out of their brioche (bronuts) and while I've yet to try those, they also receive rave reviews. (In the interest of full disclosure, I may be slightly biased, as I backed their move on kickstarter. The sandwich is good but isn't anything off the charts "best breakfast sandwich ever" by any stretch. Their coffee is a Colombian medium roast blend that had a nice flavor profile across the palate. Reading the overly exaggerated orgasmic gyration 5-star reviews I was expecting something far more and better for $16.00 total for a cup of coffee, a very basic breakfast sandwich, and a 26% tip. If I ever come back it will be primarily for the coffee rather than the food. Good thing is that my curiosity about this place has been satisfied and I likely will choose another breakfast establishment next time I'm in the land of "The Ohio State University". We checked out Cravings Cafe on a Saturday morning for breakfast. It is awesome to see something like this place open up in the downtown area. I ordered the breakfast roll and my gf ordered the burrito. We also had to get a "bronut," because they looked amazing. It seemed like the food took longer than I expected, but it made sense once we got our food. You can tell this place makes everything with a lot of care and love. The breakfast roll is good, but I wished there was a better egg to bacon ratio. I was able to steal a few bites of the burrito, and it was super good. Next time, I will go with that over the breakfast roll. The "bronut" was as good as it looked....a strong 8.1/10. I will definitely be back to try some other sandwiches and sweets. I really hope this business does well and we continue to see more locally owned restaurants and cafes pop up in the downtown area. With that said, I had one issue with our visit...we were both bothered by the smell in the cafe. There seems to be a lingering "musty/old" smell in the building. Ok....(deep breath)... I order the Breakfast Roll sans aioli and a side of fries. (Another deep breath)... HOLY CRAP IS THIS AWESOME! I haven't had a breakfast sandwich this delicious ever! The fries are divine (nice and subtle with the seasoning)! At first I thought it was a little high priced but nope! Worth every penny! Staff was very friendly and I was greeted at the door. Very friendly service, a small but adorable set up and ambiance. The woman at the front was wonderful and when I asked for a recommendation she said the Corn Beef Hash immediately and she was 100% right, it was AMAZING. A little pricey at 8 bucks but you get what you pay for. It reminded me a bit of Baba's sandwiches which is saying A LOT. I got the potatoes as a side which were tossed with seasoning and capers. Maybe just a bit more olive oil to make the capers stick more and some fresh parm would have really topped it off nicely. I also think that if the potatoes were cut thinner/smaller the other ingredients would blend better. My friend got the breakfast burrito. One of the reasons why I love working downtown is the variety of restaurants that are around. A few of my coworkers were discussing Cravings Cafe and I new I had to try it. I placed my order online (which is very convenient) and my order was ready very quickly. I ordered the Cravings club, french fries, and a iced honey mint green tea. Oh boy this lunch was so good! The brioche bun tasted like it had come out of the oven a few minutes before my order. So soft, buttery and flaky! The chicken was really moist (sorry to those that feel some type of way about that word) which I was surprised. Chicken breast can dry really easily. The french fries were fresh cut and so delicious. The tea was the perfect finisher to this meal. I would highly recommend giving them a try. I place to return to try more items! read more

The Breakfast Roll is pretty tastey. I love over medium eggs, I like the runny yolks. The egg today was just slightly over cooked so it wasn't runny.
