Note: The Fancy Ham and Cheese is on both the breakfast and lunch menus. This is your clue that you need to order this. Let me say it again, you need to order this! Over and above the ham and cheddar, the caramelized onions and honey goat cheese fancify this sandwich into the upper echelon of local sandwiches Not to be *completely* overshadowed, the Cravings Club delivered, anchored by chicken and bacon and accented with cheddar and some shaved apple Brussels sprouts slaw. They could have named this one fancy, too. Homefries were a good complement to both. I would have preferred them with a little more salt, but the aioli and ketchup options helped out. Cravings doesn't have a large menu, but it's apparent that they take great care to nail the selections they do have.

Was too hungry to let my phone eat first, but I ordered the basil chicken salad sandwich and it was delicious! The honey mint iced green tea was perfect too and I enjoyed a bite of the pasta salad side my mom ordered too. Cute little place with a decent amount of seats inside. Street parking available and it was easy to find a spot on a Friday at lunch time.

17 dollars for a egg on a roll with home fries and a couple slices of tomatoes?? oh and an up charge for Garlic Aoili which is just mayonnaise with some seasoning added to it. Really felt cheated after eating here.

This is the cutest little downtown cafe ever. I'm so glad I randomly stopped in with a friend when I did. While the dine-in service is still on hold due to COVID, the takeout experience was fast, friendly, and once I got home to eat, it was delicious. I ordered a hot coffee with lavender (my favorite) and the breakfast burrito. It didn't take too long to be prepared and once ready, they wrapped it up really tight so it would stay warm during my walk back home. The burrito was great as it was, I didn't need to add meat or anything. Lightly scrambled eggs, this amazing crispy potato cake thing, cheese, and salsa. Simple and yummy! I would order this again in a heartbeat. While this spot is currently only open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, I'm so glad to see that they're still open and operating. I'll certainly be swinging by again soon.

I came here on a Friday a little before 9am for some breakfast. It wasn't busy, although I'm sure a lot of people come all the time for a quick breakfast or lunch throughout the day. There were two others dining in here and I saw a guy come in to grab coffee to go. I went up to the counter and ordered the burrito with a coffee. I added almond milk to my coffee which was fantastic! Great price for coffee. Seemed cheaper than Starbucks. The cup I got was the size of a grande. Lasted me a few hours. The burrito was filling! It had potatoes, eggs, pico de Gallo, and I added bacon. The potatoes still had a nice crunch to them. At a little over $8, I probably can't come often but it was a nice treat! Loved the space though! High ceilings, lots of natural light, earthy, plants all over, and lots of brown colors. Service was great! The lady greeted me with a smile! Their menu isn't extensive but I don't need a lot to impress me. They have baked goods as well and juices. Their coffee is from Thunderkiss which is a pretty good coffee, in my opinion. Can't wait to return again!

I never posts Yelp reviews, but this place was so good, I had to redownload the app! I ordered the Fancy Grilled Ham and Cheese sandwich and a Blueberry Goat Cheese cookie. This was probably one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten. It had a perfect amount of goat cheese and caramelized onions! The toasted sourdough really elevated the sandwich!! I will definitely be back. P.S. the Honey Mint Jasmine Green Tea was fantastic as well. Cravings Cafe is 100% worth the stop.

I've passed by this place a lot before moving to downtown. This morning, after lamenting that there are very few breakfast places downtown, I remembered Cravings and now here we are, iced tea and sammie in hand. I want to say a few disclosures before we get any further -- no shade thrown at Dan the Baker. His team knows their way around a brioche no prob. Now, moving on. The food is straightforward. No frills, outside of the emphasis on locally produced ingredients, from their bread to their coffee. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. A handful of regulars came in and I enjoyed that neighborly ambiance usually reserved for the burbs or small towns. I wanted to be part of that some day. They make their own syrups and from what I can conclude, their own sauces and aioli as well. (The best places do). The BLT&E I ordered for myself came on a brioche bun from DtB. While it was gorgeous in and of itself, I don't think it's the best choice for this sandwich. Brioche is delicate and layered and buttery and all those things are wonderful! But even with the toasted top and bottom, anything placed within brioche with any amount of liquid will seep into the bread and create a soggy texture (and quickly). Also (here's the sacrilegious part) I think the bun is too much for the sandwich. The focus is all on the bread, and little space left on the palate to enjoy the inside bits. I would suggest perhaps a crunchier bread, thinner, with a bit more fortitude for sandwich making. I'm sure Dan can bake one up for you. As far as the innards are concerned l, tasty, cooked well, good proportions of tomato, greens, aioli, and bacon. Usually not big on thick cut bacon, but this is cooked well and adds excellent texture to the sandwich. The price was reasonable for the entree especially if you take into consideration paying people livable wages and the cost of local products (support local however your can!) Finally, I ordered the jasmine green tea with half the amount of honey mint syrup they put in it and it was perfect! Would honestly just go back for tea, or see if they are open to experimenting with other bread varieties.

went to try on December 8th. Yelp page said nothing about dining area closed. this is the main reason for the lower star rating and will definitely try again when dining is open. ( just not a fan of car eating ) Started with the regular Burger added bacon. The flavor was good and everything on it was fresh. As a side tried their ouse chips these are really good and was piping hot. lastly was the Cravings Club this was a better sandwich, I really liked the Shaved apple Brussels sport slaw that was on the sandwich. What really made these two sandwich stand out was the Toasted Brioche Buns it was the perfect bun to hold everything together. The hours are very limited so make sure you get there between these times Monday - Friday 7:30am-2:30 pm.

Cute place downtown in the midst of high rise work buildings. Only open for early breakfast through lunch. They have staples on their menu everyday, however, also do daily specials which are always great. And you don't want to miss on their daily baked goods either because they're top notch. Usually it's various cookies or bars available, however, on Fridays, they always have "bronuts" or brioche donuts (and sometimes brioche cinnamon rolls). So good. Sometimes it's classic flavors like cinnamon sugar or sprinkles and other weeks, it's fun flavors like blueberry. The staff is extremely friendly and nice as well.

Cravings cafe is back and better than ever! I had the "Bronut." This might have been the best donut I have ever had. It was light and had what almost was like whip cream. My wife had the breakfast roll and all she said as she ate it was "so good!" I had the cheesesteak and loved it. Also, we had a conconut cream cold brew and would get it again. So happy they are back and even closer to us now!! A must stop for breakfast, brunch or lunch!! They even have plenty of seating this time thus the dropping of carry out from the name :) read more

Absolutely delicious and incredibly friendly staff/owners. The folks at Cravings Cafe were kind enough to allow us to host our post wedding brunch at their restaurant. They were gracious hosts and cranked out so much food for our group of 20-ish in a relatively short amount of time. Everything was perfectly cooked and was so very tasty! I was able to try their breakfast sandwich, the burrito and some donuts. Oh my... they are all "can't miss" items! I cannot thank these guys enough for helping make our brunch with family friends memorable and delicious! Though it's not close to home for us, we will definitely be back! read more

Brioche is back! After what seems like forever (and had to seem longer for the kind folks who run the place) Cravings is open in its new location. And while the wait has been long, it has certainly been worth it. For those who remember the Italian Village location, everything you loved about the food remains true. Most importantly, their delicious brioche rolls still enjoy a prominent place on the menu. That menu is small but excellent. I highly recommend the club, which features large pieces of well-prepared chicken. The other sandwiches also come highly recommended, although I sensed some jealousy on the part of dining companions who had bread other than the brioche. The changing specials have all been delicious as well, meaning that it's unlikely you'll tire of the place any time soon. Thankfully, the space is a bit larger than the old location. It's still not huge though. And once word spreads, I fully expect them to be bustling. So competition may be fierce for a table during rush times. Finally, they're not just sandwiches. The cookies are terrific, as one might expect from a shop that started like as Cookie Cravings. They also make donuts out of their brioche (bronuts) and while I've yet to try those, they also receive rave reviews. (In the interest of full disclosure, I may be slightly biased, as I backed their move on kickstarter. It was a no brainer for me when they were offering to share the secrets of their brioche, which, as should be obvious by now, I truly love!) read more

Food wise, I got cold brew with pumpkin and French toast to eat back at my hotel. Both were delicious!!! It is a great space to bring a friend and I would get takeout again. For context: I Went here to work on some grading for the morning but it turns out they don't have wifi :( I understand the concept but was disappointed because I just considered that a given for coffee shops. Giving it 5 stars because not having wifi shouldn't be a reason you don't visit read more

The sandwich is good but isn't anything off the charts "best breakfast sandwich ever" by any stretch. Their coffee is a Colombian medium roast blend that had a nice flavor profile across the palate. Reading the overly exaggerated orgasmic gyration 5-star reviews I was expecting something far more and better for $16.00 total for a cup of coffee, a very basic breakfast sandwich, and a 26% tip. If I ever come back it will be primarily for the coffee rather than the food. Good thing is that my curiosity about this place has been satisfied and I likely will choose another breakfast establishment next time I'm in the land of "The Ohio State University". Worst customer service I have ever experienced, They refused to let me sit down after I ordered a coffee even though I was the only customer inside the business. I let them know I had 8 people meeting me here and I was told I could not sit until everyone ordered their food even though I already placed an order for myself. We checked out Cravings Cafe on a Saturday morning for breakfast. It is awesome to see something like this place open up in the downtown area. I ordered the breakfast roll and my gf ordered the burrito. We also had to get a "bronut," because they looked amazing. It seemed like the food took longer than I expected, but it made sense once we got our food. You can tell this place makes everything with a lot of care and love. The breakfast roll is good, but I wished there was a better egg to bacon ratio. I was able to steal a few bites of the burrito, and it was super good. Next time, I will go with that over the breakfast roll. The "bronut" was as good as it looked....a strong 8.1/10. I will definitely be back to try some other sandwiches and sweets. I really hope this business does well and we continue to see more locally owned restaurants and cafes pop up in the downtown area. With that said, I had one issue with our visit...we were both bothered by the smell in the cafe. There seems to be a lingering "musty/old" smell in the building. Obviously, this has to be from the fact the location was vacant, etc. I really hope they figure that issue out. Anyways, check this place out! Enjoy! read more

Ok....(deep breath)... I order the Breakfast Roll sans aioli and a side of fries. (Another deep breath)... HOLY CRAP IS THIS AWESOME! I haven't had a breakfast sandwich this delicious ever! The fries are divine (nice and subtle with the seasoning)! At first I thought it was a little high priced but nope! Worth every penny! Staff was very friendly and I was greeted at the door. Clean and serene environment. I was in and out in less than 10 min. I'm only halfway done with this sandwich but damn, it's soooo tasty! Another two bites in and I still can't get over the thick cut bacon, velvety (just dippy) egg, and that buttery brioche bun... my eyes are fall out of my head! read more

I ordered cinnamon rolls to take home for the weekend (you can order these on Thursday for Friday pickup in their online 'general store' along with coffee, half and half, etc.). I have never had something from Cravings that wasn't fantastic. The ingredients are fresh, the flavor combinations are always perfect, and the staff is friendly and inviting. Their vegetarian options are delicious. Sometimes it feels like a restaurant throws a vegetarian option on the menu just to say they have one, but Cravings always has something for me that's perfectly crafted and tasted amazing. read more

Very cool atmosphere! Love their thick cut bacon. We tried the diner breakfast and the breakfast roll which was an amazingly fluffy brioche bun, an egg a lot of cheese and their aioli sauce.. added some hot sauce to it and it was just perfect! Make sure you try the bronuts and their coffee is great as well. Definitely will come back! read more

Really friendly staff, spacious seating, good food! I was staying at the Hyatt hotel by the convention center and wanted to go to North Market for breakfast but they weren't open until 10 am so I had to find an alternative. This was about a mile walk away from the convention center. I got the breakfast sandwich, potatoes, chai latte and a giant chocolate chip cookie. Everything was great! read more

Very friendly service, a small but adorable set up and ambiance. The woman at the front was wonderful and when I asked for a recommendation she said the Corn Beef Hash immediately and she was 100% right, it was AMAZING. We also got the Egg Roll, and between the fluffy bread and crispy bacon it was equally amazing. Plus, if you have some of their Aioli put it on the egg roll and it makes it PERFECT. 10/10 read more

Enjoyed this more than their previous location. Bigger but still cozy. Warm, inviting and, best of all, delicious. I got the breakfast sandwich with thick cut bacon and it was delicious. A little pricey at 8 bucks but you get what you pay for. It reminded me a bit of Baba's sandwiches which is saying A LOT. I got the potatoes as a side which were tossed with seasoning and capers. Maybe just a bit more olive oil to make the capers stick more and some fresh parm would have really topped it off nicely. I also think that if the potatoes were cut thinner/smaller the other ingredients would blend better. My friend got the breakfast burrito. Then...on my way out...I got this pastry with berries and pistachio. I joked that it couldn't possibly taste as good as it looked. Well I was wrong. Yowza. read more

One of the reasons why I love working downtown is the variety of restaurants that are around. A few of my coworkers were discussing Cravings Cafe and I new I had to try it. I placed my order online (which is very convenient) and my order was ready very quickly. I ordered the Cravings club, french fries, and a iced honey mint green tea. Oh boy this lunch was so good! The brioche bun tasted like it had come out of the oven a few minutes before my order. So soft, buttery and flaky! The chicken was really moist (sorry to those that feel some type of way about that word) which I was surprised. Chicken breast can dry really easily. The french fries were fresh cut and so delicious. The tea was the perfect finisher to this meal. I would highly recommend giving them a try. I place to return to try more items! read more

The Breakfast Roll is pretty tastey. I love over medium eggs, I like the runny yolks. The egg today was just slightly over cooked so it wasn't runny. Even with the "over cooked" egg it was a really good sandwich. The bacon!!! Thick cut and tons of it! I wouldn't mind walking in the cold here again. read more

He suggested the butter cake and tomato soup... both were excellent suggestions. Other than that, we tried the turkey croissant and the bacon, avocado, tomato grilled cheese. Both great! The name is a little misleading, while they did have a few chocolate items, this was definitely more a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot serving the whole menu all day. We were visiting from out of town and went back inside after we were done eating to ask for local recommendations - which he gladly provided. We really appreciated that! One final note - there is minimal inside seating and seasonal outdoor seating. Definitely a great to-go spot though if no seating is open.
