Its storefront is combined with the gas station which makes it super convenient to grab gas before leaving. There were two small tables to sit at if you wanted to dine in, but we decided to eat in the car. Order: -Falafel plate: Not too bad. It came with a salad, rice, and 6-7 pieces of falafel. The salad was lightly dressed and had fried pita as the croutons. The rice was nice and light. It had more Indian flavors than Mediterranean. The cardamom seasoning is quite nice. The falafel was ok. There wasn't as much herbs (parsley/cilantro) as I was hoping that would give you the green color. -Chicken tikka masala: Very saucy and came with rice and a hot pita. Best find in Fort Bragg! Stopped for gas and saw this little spot right next-door! Had the Gyro and Greek salad. Both excellent and authentic home made. Place is clean and owners wonderful. Oh boy, we totally LOVE Cravingrill. As others mentioned, it is a tiny place, but big on flavor. We discovered it on our last trip to Fort Bragg and were eager to return. Last time we ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala platter and the Gyro platter. Today we ordered the Falafel platter and the Chicken Shawarma platter. Traveling from the Bay Area on our way to OR via the coast, we stopped by Fort Bragg for the night. After a late afternoon hike along the beach to the "Glass" (not much glass left - stop picking them up people!) beach, we ordered the combo shawarma of beef & chicken. Strange location. Missed it when driving by cuz really small, connecting next to a corner gas station. Stopped here to eat before heading to Glass Beach is actually on same street. Just drive down towards the ocean and will see sign. Chicken shawarma was actually delicious. Seasoned just right and flavorful. Plenty of meat for a regular size. Can't imagine ordering a large cuz lady said would be more meat stuffed in the flatbread. Came with three lil container of herbal white yogurt like tangy dressing. Dressing great as well. Not impressed with the tikka masala sauce thought. Recommend sticking with the wraps. Great place to grab food before heading to beach down the street of course. The caption of Cravingrill, connected to a Sinclair gas station, was "Fresh Mediterranean," and indeed, most of their menu consisted of shawarma, gyros, and falafels, like you'd expect from most casual Mediterranean places. But the menu also offered things like samosas, chicken tikka masala, mango lassi, and even boba! I may have been confused, but am I glad to have tried this place out, as this turned out to be some of the best Mediterranean (or whatever) cuisine I've had in a while! My first pick from the menu was the vegetarian platter, which came with hummus, baba ghanoush, two dolmas, two falafels, and tabbouleh! Every item on this platter tasted so fresh and vibrant, but my favorite components were the thick, creamy hummus and the refreshing tabbouleh! I was also a huge fan of the herbed tzatziki sauce, the creamy tahini sauce, and the hot sauce that came in ramekins on the side, which all added great flavors to every bite! Next, I tried the combo platter, which came with a perfectly dressed salad made of romaine, greens, cucumber, tomatoes, and crispy pita croutons, along with a choice of two different meats. I had both the chicken shawarma and the beef shawarma, and both of these came with delicious, distinct spice mixtures, and as an added bonus, the beef shawarma had a nice crispy texture too! We were very disappointed after reading such amazing reviews. The falafel was dry and grainy and had no flavor. The rice was dry, the shawarma was dry, and the hummus had no flavor. The hummus portion is quite large and I only received one small piece of "pita" about the size of a tortilla which had no flavor either and was stiff and hard. The desserts were pretty good however. Being vegetarian can limit your lunch options greatly. Even food traditionally vegan based are Americanized and add in chicken or beef. So when I saw Mediterranean food with a falafel option I jumped on it. It is nestled in next to a gas station, which if you are like me, makes you pause. And I paused quite a while until my hunger overcame my anxiety and I placed an order. Only to go, the parking lot is so small I don't think they could handle people hanging around to eat. I do suggest figuring out how to back into a parking space because it will be difficult to back out with the pumps and other cars right there. I also suggest calling in the order so that you can grab your food (maybe fill your car up first) and go. I got the falafel wrap and pita with hummus. My husband (as of 4 days ago) got the falafel platter. It came with tazikki, garlic sauce, a red sauce and tahini. I did not try the red sauce or the tahini. The taziki was good, the garlic sauce was the most amount of garlic I have even experienced in a dipping sauce. Like it was made of nothing but garlic. It was a bit much for me and I like garlic. The falafel was cooked very well. Round balls that did not crumble when you took a bite full of flavor. I put the hummus on my wrap, which was falafel, salad and dressing on/in a pita. The pita and hummus was one round pita and a lot of hummus. I thought it was disproportionate but when I put the hummus in the wrap and gave some to my husband to dip his falafel in, it worked out. The falafel platter was falafel with rice and salad. The salad had pita croutons which were very good and I felt they were a unique touch. The rice was good, maybe a bit sweeter than I expected. He tried the sauces and liked the taziki, garlic and hummus the best, but agreed the garlic was way stronger than he normally likes. We were very happy with the flavor and texture of our meals. We also felts that each meal was just enough for each of us. I was filled up by the wrap and he was filled up by the platter. We were quite delighted to find this little hole in the wall restaurant serving halal Mediterranean / Indian food in this small costal town in Fort Bragg. We ordered the chicken tikka masala platter, chicken shawarma platter, side of falafel and hummus with pita along with mango lassi's. Firstly, the quantity of food was huge, each of the platters are given out in 8" to go containers that can feed two people easily. Secondly, all the food tasted fresh and very flavorful. The meat was tender and juicy. The yellow rice was not too oily and paired well with the chicken. The falafel were crispy but not overdone. VEGETARIAN REVIEW: I recently realized I've wasted a lot of time being frustrated at the price of food at Cravingrill, rather than appreciating it for what it is: Fresh and delicious middle eastern food, in tiny little Fort Bragg (which also explains the prices, because nothing is cheap on the coast, other than trashy Taco Bell). They have delicious samosas, dolmas, cauliflower wraps, falafel, hummus, and baba ghanoush. There's also salads and now boba drinks. I'm currently addicted to the Veggie Platter (2 dolmas, 2 falafels, hummus, baba ghanoush, tabouli, pita, and tahini dressing). I request spicy hummus instead of the regular; both are creamy and delicious. I'm always impressed with how heavy that bugger is; at $10.99, I'd say you get what you pay for (delicious, healthy, and fresh vegetarian food). Definitely give this place a shot! read more

We stopped at the gas station next door on our way home from camping and with a long drive ahead of us decided to check this small cafe out. As soon as I saw a few items on the menu they I love, I predicted the food would've terrific. The Falafel Wrap was one of the best I've ever had. The bread was fresh and the falafels were crispy & delicious. My son devoured his Chicken Shawarma Wrap saying how flavorful the chicken was. And the dessert- the Gulab Jamin was perfection.
