When I arrived for my CPAP fitting I had no idea how thorough a fitting I would get. Marcus took me through all the settings, how to manage my machine and care for it. Full fitting for my mask and information on what my insurance company expected as to usage & followup. He also explained that CPAP Services offers a supplies service that can ship my regularly used supplies to my home on a regular schedule. read more

I was on vacation in the Bay Area when the first night my CPAP device didn't work. I spent a miserable night, as you can imagine, and the next morning began calling medical products stores to get help but no luck. I wasn't looking forward to 6 sleepless nights. I called CPAP Services and spoke to Emily and she was great inviting me to come right in to troubleshoot and possibly rent device if needed. I headed over and the tech, Kristyn immediately saw me and nailed the problem. Fortunately all I needed was a new power source. I want to thank both Emily and Kristyn for their excellent service and understanding. And even more important my husband thanks you. read more

I had previously contacted two other companies and got the runaround or no answer. CPAP Services answered the phone and explained everything and I was able to come In to see options and Loan explained it all and got me set up. She then follows up to check in and send needed resupplies. And replies promptly to my emails! Made the daunting process of starting with a CPAP so much easier and smooth. She's a gem. Worth the longer drive (for l, just that first time!). So thankful! read more

I live in SF and drove here because other stores are incompetent ,hard to get an appointment and or rude. This place lives up to its other 5 star reviews. Clean, organized, got me in right away. Woman the met with me to go over new machine was super knowledgeable. The first mask I picked did not really work with my sleep style and they swapped it out with zero problems. Worth the drive for sure to get great customer service read more

CPAP Services has excellent service at reasonable prices, two very rare qualities in the CPAP/Durable Medical Equipment business. The staff is pleasant, competent and easy to deal with. They are particularly good at dealing with Medicare and insurance issues. (Queena in San Jose and Elise in Records have been especially helpful.) In my long experience, this is BY FAR the best CPAP/DME supplier I've used. Highly recommended! read more

Tito Duran deserves a 5 star rating (or more!) because he listens and understand the customer's inquiry to ensure the appropriate approach to the problem. This business has the worst customer service I have ever encountered. I called this business 5 times in 2 day period, never hot an answer or live person on the phone. Drove to location , noone in office. Left message no return call. Will not use for future purchases. read more

They have good service. +1... figured out that their prices are so high that my deductible was higher than full retail price online without having to use my insurance for maintenance supplies. (I.e. filters, pillows etc.) ! (-3) read more

Went in a month ago to get my machine with Queena. Did the whole bit, got the information, fine. 3 days later I called her because my machine makes this sing song kind of hum. Never heard back. I went in yesterday to get some refills, its so very quiet like the first time I went in. She comes out and has me sign in, I say I called her and didnt get a response. She says "oh yeah I've been busy", I'm thinking and by busy do you mean work, because I would be part of that. The place is not full of people, you could take a nap it's so quiet! Is it that the goal is to sell you a product and forget customer service? I work in the service industry and that wouldnt fly with my customers nor would I treat them that way. She's very unprofessional! read more

I really appreciate Loan Chau's kind professionalism and competence. She is very informed about exactly what the cost of an item will be and is also readily available to make appointments for fitting masks and picking up supplies, rather than having to wait for them to be delivered by mail. Extremely competent service and support. I found Loan at CPAP services a superior clinical provider. She knew how to teach me just what I needed to adapt to my CPAP. Her expertise was superior and her warm quick response to any questions or problems enabled me to rise to the challenge. Loan is the best person with whom I interacted. I am grateful to her and appreciate her beyond words. Thank you. read more

My experience here was fantastic. There was a problem in the beginning with the company returning my doctor's call; but the woman who set up my appointment was polite and helpful and suggested several machines and masks I might want to look at when I came in. The woman who helped me with the selections and showed me how to use the equipment, Queena, was also polite and professional and spoke clearly and slowly. She gave me all the time I needed. They offer a 30 day window to exchange your mask if you don't like it. Highly recommended. read more

Loan Chau...without her experience, knowledge and expertise we would not rate Cpap a 5 star. We can buy the products on Amazon yet- we wouldn't be receiving the great service from Loan! She's efficient in returning calls and resolving questions and issues! Thanks Loan Chau....Yoshimura's read more

This place is the best! I have Kaiser insurance and after their ridiculous one size fits all machine and mask option I decided to look elsewhere. I knew that a nose mask was not going to work for me. I found this place online. I wanted a location I could walk in and check out as I knew purchasing a mask online wasn't a good option. I was right, it took trying multiple mask styles before I found the right one. Besides the trek back to the store each time, they made this processes easy and they were always super friendly. Unlike at Kaiser(the sleep study department is TERRIBLE, I've had wonderful treatment elsewhere) the CPAP Services staff actually make you feel cared for!! There was no extra cost for trying out masks and the exchanges were easy. They really took the time to find the perfect mask for my facial structure- it wasn't easy due to multiple reconstructive jaw surgeries. They also accepted payments which helped with the financial burden. Today while there replacing my mask(6 months recommendation) my 2yr old started fussing. One of the ladies jumped in and started playing with my boys which allowed me a few uninterrupted moments with the technician. (I'm so sorry I don't remember each ladies name). My youngest didn't want to leave, kept waving and saying bye, and going back. Having a local business with amazing customer service like this makes up for saving a few buck and ordering online. I will continue to use them for as long as I need my machine!! read more

My stars won't click, but I rate them 5 stars! This review is written for the very small interaction I've had with this company due to Blue Shield making me use their (Yelp)1.5 star approved vendor. Oscar at CPAP Services called to tell me that Blue Shield would not pay for using them. He was so helpful in calling and faxing the referring doctor and the other company that BS is forcing me to use. He completely understood my need to get in before the end of the year; he was polite, helpful, knowledgeable, focused, and customer attuned. CPAP Service- this guy should get a pay increase! He is the fabulous face of your company. I'm sick that Blue Shield is making me use the 1.5 star vendor that they will pay for. read more

Amazing, simple amazing. I procrastinated getting the mask for unfounded fears of complications and difficulty. CPAP dismissed all that. CPAP Services did such a wonderful job in: *Getting me in quickly *Easy paperwork *Friendly staff (Theresa, Steve and others) Sidenote: You know the employees are treated well by the owner when they are pleasant to their customers and actually enjoy being at work). *Steve was a complete professional with a side of humor when going over from A-Z about the mask so I felt completely comfortable with it. He even called me to follow-up to see how I've been doing with it *Taking my insurance (United Healthcare, very easy). if you have been putting off getting a CPAP mask for whatever reason, get it done with CPAP Services. This company is fantastic!!!!! read more

September 5, 2013 Excellent products, excellent customer service, and has integrity. When Mom was released from a nursing home to assisted living, we needed to arrange for oxygen. The first oxygen provider knew we HAD to have the portable oxygen compressor within 24 hours. We didn't have time to research other sources. So we paid the ridiculously inflated rate of $200 per week for a portable oxygen compressor. We were determined to find a better source. We had a week to do our research. This is an industry with a lot of 1- and 2-star Yelps. If they couldn't even return your initial call for information, could you really trust them to provide a reliable machine and to respond immediately if something happened to the machine? I didn't want to take that risk. So, we were delighted when we found CPAP Services with many 5-star Yelps. Oscar and Aline were courteous, knowledgeable and very helpful in dealing with the insurance company. In the end, we PURCHASED the same Respironics SImplyGo unit for approx $500 that the other oxygen place was charging $200 per week to rent. [Note: My Mom has very good insurance which paid 90% and the co-pay was 10%.] Steve Ng delivered the portable unit as well as an oxygen compressor floor unit at no additional charge. He arrived on time and was very thorough and clear in his instructions on how to operate the units (on-off switch). He was incredibly nice and friendly and gave us information on how to maintain the units. This was the only oxygen supplier we contacted which inspired trust in us. And...folks...this is life-saving oxygen! Trust is important! So, in an ocean of companies with poor customer service and a few which seem to prey on families in crisis, CPAP Services is a breath of fresh air. November, 2013 Often positive Yelp reviews are written when a product is purchased. So there's no track record of service to report. Well Mom passed away just 6 weeks after we acquired the oxygen units from Oscar. During that time Oscar showed that he was a decent - a very decent man - who offered above and beyond service. read more

I was not looking forward to getting my CPAP, given that ALL the other DMEs in the area have terrible ratings. I picked this place because of its high ratings and I'm SO glad I did. I had heard about my friends experiences (horror stories) getting their equipment, and this was the complete opposite. I called this morning and got an appointment for today. They were very polite and professional, they worked with Stanford (where I got my sleep study) and my insurance (United Healthcare). The tech explained everything to me, how to use it, how to clean it, how to get new parts, and answered all of my questions. I got private, one-on-one instructions and fitting. I can't wait to try my first night's sleep! Thank you for treating me like a person! read more

More than a month has passed since I initiated my CPAP order, and during that time, I've received not a single update from this company. I understand that Stanford is slow to release records and that Anthem Blue Cross can hold things up as well, but a simple phone call or email would have been helpful, especially while I wait for a crucial piece of medical equipment and my health hangs in the balance. I just called CPAP Services, and with all of the politeness I could muster, I told them that if I didn't get an update soon, I would start looking for a new vendor. The very helpful woman on the other end of the line curtly replied "okay then, bye." That flippant reply was the end of it and so now I'm shopping for a new vendor and even though more than three months have passed since my initial sleep study, I've yet to receive my prescribed treatment. After reminding them that they had a patient who was anxiously waiting for an important medical device, I received an email from Emily Vo at CPAP Services, and in it she claims that they tried to get my records from Stanford, but that Stanford had been unresponsive. In other words, they tried and failed to get my record from Stanford and so they gave up without bothering to tell me that they were not going to fill the order. Hey CPAP Services, don't you think it would've been helpful if you'd kept me informed, so that I could either intervene, or find a more competent supplier, instead of just giving up while my health deteriorates as I wait for months on end for a device that will never arrive? update-edit on 04/01/2016 --- I just paid a personal visit to the Stanford medical records department at their Sleep Clinic location, and they informed me that they've not received a single communication, in any form, from CPAP Service regarding my sleep study and my prescription for a CPAP device. On that note, I've taken my prescription and records to Apria Health in Menlo Park and I'm looking forward to having this all sorted by next week. Thank you, Emily Vo, for finally telling me that you no longer intended to honor the arrangement made between your company and me. Who knows how long I might have waited. Probably not much longer, since I'd already decided to look elsewhere. read more

It's been one year with my new resmed CPAP office in Monterey. The staff is so amazing from day one. Started with one mask then changed to a new full face style with magnetic head band. When it came up to replace mask I went back to the first one. I just had to spend two weeks in the hospital for colon surgery, I needed to change the water reservoir chamber as the staff was not happy the way it looked. I called the Monterey office and told them I needed a new water chamber. They were so helpful had the service staff deliver one that afternoon. That is amazing service to deliver supplies to the hospital I have had three other companies in the area over the years you had to meet their time and could only come by on one day a week when the specialist had office hours in Monterey. The other one required insurance to pay first before you received supplies. They both went out of business. CPAP Services is the best, Thank You read more

Called with an emergency and had order in 2 hours. Excellent provider!

My home visit to fit my mask was wonderful. The technician's name is Daniel. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. I am not rating this business higher because the people who answer the phone need a lot more training on efficient business communication. Don't get me wrong, they are very polite; but they ask for my name three-four times, I have to spell it several times, then I have to keep repeating why I am calling, etc. Do these folks not have note pads at their desks when they answer the phone? Basic business phone etiquette guys! Keep trying. I know this is a growing business, I hope to see some improvement when I call again. read more

I brought my 95 year-old father in yesterday. He was having trouble with his CPAP system and also had some questions about operating and maintaining it. My father had made an appointment on the phone earlier in the day. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and taken to a room so my father's system could be examined. We were helped by Daniel. Daniel was great! He was very kind to my father, who tends toward long discussions that veer off topic. Daniel diagnosed the problem, explained how the system worked to me, and reviewed the maintenance needed for the system so I could support my father in the future. We were in and out in fewer than 30 minutes. The issue was solved and all questions answered. I highly recommend CPAP Services and Daniel in particular. read more

I purchased my machine there several years ago. They are helpful when you go in. However, you need an appointment and THEY NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE. I need assistance and have called them for weeks. The answering machine says they will return calls within 24 hours, not so. If you have a problem they will not answer so you are out of luck. Poor business model. read more

Capitola's CPAP Services office is currently closed for renovations. Customers needing "help" are SOL. If you call the main number (there's only one for all of the business' locations), you'll only get voicemail. And you won't receive a call back. After leaving 2 voice messages (to 2 different extensions) yesterday, and receiving no call backs, I just called agin. Tried 10 different options, including the "O" (operator) option: all led to voice mail. So, regarding its customer service, this place would get ZERO stars if it were possible to do so. read more

I'm not sure what is going on with most of their staff, but of the five + calls I've made to them, I have not had one good experience. Extremely helpful and friendly. Steve is great. He is informative, knowledgeable, and will give it to you straight. He could tell I wasn't thrilled to have to wear a mask to bed (being a single 25yr old male), and leveled with me about what was important and what it was up to me. They are very flexible. You can mail in your SD card if something needs adjusting. Since I live far away, they allowed me to try out two masks for the trial month. I have recently diagnose with sleep apnea and PAMF go through CPAP services. Yuri called to schedule appointment with Marcus and not knowing what to expect, I was skeptical of the visit for one hour appointment. I sat there turning on machine/wearing the mask and how to clean filter how I would use the machine each night. I walked out the building feeling VERY COMFORTABLE and Marcus was accommodating answering all my questions. Really appreciate receiving FIRST CLASS service from Marcus. Thank you!!! read more

Terrible customer service. If you're there in person, it's fine. But I've been to the Capitola location a couple of times, and it's always closed for renovation. With no expected opening date. So, how do I get my supplies? Don't try calling them. All calls go to San Jose, and good luck getting a call-back. Nobody returns calls. And you have to go through a phone tree just to get voice mail. (Don't bother leaving a message. They won't call back.) read more

I got my machine and mask from the san jose location. The machine has not functioned properly from day 1. However, I keep getting the run around - first, it takes them over 2 days to respond, then there is talk about allowing more time, adjusting pressure (for which I have to contact doctor who then contacts them) etc. I am still trying to figure out if the mask is the right one for me if only someone would return my call. read more
