It's that much worse when I'm about to head out on a trip. That means multiple days without CPAP. That's why I really appreciated it when Homa got me a new CPAP mask on short notice. I was having a lot of trouble with my old mask, and eventually noticed that it had mold growing in it. I did a lot to try to get it out, but a flaw in the design made it impossible to fully clean. I called up Alto with very short notice before a trip (bad planning on my part), but Homa came through, providing me the mask I needed. I had an older mask for backup, but it doesn't fit me very well and tends to leak and make a lot of noise at night. So getting the right mask in time for my trip was great. I've found that Alto has provided this level of great service very consistently, and I have always been happy with them. They are also good at having the latest and greatest CPAP equipment. This has been a big plus because the newer designs have worked a lot better on me (I must have a weird shaped head I guess!). I've always found their prices to be very competitive too, which I can't say is true in some other places I used to go to in order to get CPAP stuff. Overall, a great ongoing experience. -Tom

Ms. Adnani came to my home, was extremely knowledgable, consultative and patient with me. The machine and consultation provided has been stellar and I'm feeling much better! I'm probably a bit more technically minded than many of your patients, but I have to say the info and consultation Alto Sleep provided has made a huge difference for me.

Second, the ramp was installed but not safe for me or my client to use. Someone could've tripped on it, and/or my client could've fallen off the side of the ramp that wasn't secured. We got a pump for 3 months for $180 vs. $90/month at El Camino Hospital. The rental process was pretty straight forward. They also sell pump parts and accessories at competitive prices. Since it's an online-only business, there is no place where you can go pick up the pump. I saw the other review that mentioned they would accommodate the request but it just seemed easier to follow their standard M.O. It was kinda funny to see the pump shipped out of Sunnyvale, go all the way to South San Francisco and come back to San Jose, when we live about 4 miles away from their given address.

My chief complaints include: (1) Never once in a year have all of my prescriptions actually been ready at the same time. I have tried everything including auto refills. It's actually impressive that they still can't get it together. (2) There are two lines - drop off and pick up. God forbid you have a question about something that wasn't filled properly. You actually have to leave the drop off window and get back in line for the pick up window. On one especially confusing occasion when one of my Rx wasn't filled, I had to get back in line although I was the only customer. (3) Even when they get their act together and call your doctor for a refill, they don't let you know that your Rx has actually been filled. I once went back after they called and left a message that my doctor authorized a refill. When I got to the store, they didn't actually fill my Rx. I am giving this joint two stars based on the fact that the Pho next door is amazing and that they haven't actually killed me.

The customer standing…read moreat the "working" self checkout was having problems with her purchase, but the cashier (brusque Indian woman in her 50s) rudely kept telling her repeatedly to "follow the instructions," although the customer was clearly confused. The cashier never helped her. I waited six minutes in line patiently (one person ahead of me) while she slowly rang up an elderly lady, which is just fine with me, because not every store can be staffed to help all customers at all times. This is a hard job, and I understand that these employees have to deal with rude customers all day. I finally handed my item to the cashier with a smile. The cashier's first action was to berate me for not using the self-checkout. When I started to explain that I got in line because one self-checkout was broken and the other was being used, she interrupted and dismissed me with a wave of her hand, berating me (again) for bringing her a pair of sunglasses (the only pair that fit me!) which had a barcode that wasn't working in her scanner. All this time, she's criticizing a young kid who's working behind her. She refused to help me, refused to let me explain why I couldn't simply bring up a different item which might have a different price. I don't work at CVS. I don't know what to look for. She just began fighting me on it, like it was the most natural thing in the world for her. I threw up my hands and walked out of the store without a purchase. Read some other reviews on this app. There's at least one talking about the same person, the same behavior. I don't care how long I have to wait in line. Like I said, I have compassion for stores that are understaffed and under-trained. I also have endless patience for this kind of thing usually.
