Queena Iglesias was so very helpful to me after a COVID-19 year starting and using CPAP but not getting optimal results. I met with her in person and she helped me better understand how CPAP works, refitted my mask, got me a chin strap that fit my needs and positive results were immediately realized. And she took whatever time was necessary to be thoroughly clear and thorough. I'm very appreciative. Richard Helzberg read more

Receptionist who scheduled my device appointment was very nice. My first appointment was with Loan. She's knowledgeable and friendly. I was coming in for supplies and potential to replace an older machine that I'd been using. Rather than buy something online, I wanted to visit the store and explore options. Emilio was simply fantastic! He very patiently listened to my concerns, identified my needs and then calmly explained all the options available to me to meet my needs. Where he really excelled was in separating my wants from my needs and ensuring that I got exactly what my situation needed and nothing else. That was simply above and beyond what I've come to expect from a business - far from pushing a sale, here he was building a lot of trust by telling me not to get some unnecessary things that I was leaning towards. Very very appreciated. I will definitely be asking for Emilio the next time I have any questions in this regard. Or for that matter when I feel the need to succumb to retail therapy on an e-commerce store. read more

Outstanding Performance by Queena. Gave clear and complete instructions and help. As good as I have ever experienced. Rich DeVaul, M.D.

Take your business elsewhere - you will NOT get good care from this firm. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and assigned to CPAP services. The original process of getting my machine setup went very well and they did a great job of getting me set up. Part of my insurance offers a replacement mask if the original mask provided does not work (quite common). This is where CPAP services has become a nightmare for me. They were completely unresponsive to my calls to set up a follow-up appointment. After 2 weeks I contacted someone other than my assigned technician. It took another 2 weeks to get an appointment. They day of, due to a car breakin, I had to reschedule my appointment and they did not respond. Once I was finally able to get in touch with them, I'm now somehow out of a window and can't get a replacement mask. At this point, I'm forced to buy it on my own dime, yet my insurance company is still paying these people for services. Update - I did ultimately get through to a supervisor who was able to deal with my situation. He was pretty reasonable, though at the end of the call he told me that they would be billing me for rental fees after my insurance declined something they had told me was approved before. Likely not their fault and they did take care of the other issue so 3 stars. Would make them 4 if they were more responsive. read more

I had questions and needed solid advice. Elise was very helpful with the insurance matters and she urged me to speak to Kasandrah, a therapy sleep coach. +Great customer care +Great communication +They honor their warranty on their supplies -way overpriced. I have found that everything they sell is usually 1.5-3x more than any other provider. I enjoyed working with them but when it cost over $400 every 3 months for simple supplies that I can get for $200 from other CPAP supplies companies. Note* *Before switching to them I was paying around $150 every 3 months with the same health coverage. *I have worked with my insurance provider as well and this is not because of them because their policy has not changed and said it is up to the company to decide their own prices. read more

My experience so far has been great, thanks to the warm and detailed help from Loan Chau! Loan guided me with the C-PEP usage, instruction, initial setup, mask selection, including a mask replacement for size mismatch after a two-week trial. With her suggestions (not push), I also purchased a SoClean for clean-up of the mask by ozone, a very useful tool to a busy and lazy guy like me! I was told the C-PEP is rental (owned by my insurer) for 18 month or so ... before becoming my own., and replaceable every 3 years. Very satisfied so far. Thanks! read more

There is a review in the "not recommended" section from Vikram that I believe to be true. There is another from Alejandro on Google Reviews that tells a similar story. I'm here to tell you that while getting in to see them for an initial appointment wasn't that difficult (as it is for other reviewers), and they were quite helpful while I was there, they are doing the same thing to me that they did to Vikram and Alejandro. I was referred by my Dr. At no point was I informed that they were out-of network. The staff at CPAP services ran my insurance and realized my deductible was high, and that insurance wouldn't cover any of the machine, so they asked me to cover it. Which is fine, and expected. What they charged me, and what they submitted to my insurance is two separate amounts. I paid $1239. They charged the insurance $1375. Doesn't matter, my deductible is A LOT higher than that, especially for out-of-network services. Then, starting the following month, my insurance sends me statements saying that CPAP Services has started billing them $500/month. Well, that's interesting. Insurance "okayed" each charge, but of course didn't pay a dime. I had no idea what these charges could be for, and expected to receive an invoice for something. No invoices have arrived. When I had visited this place, they did refer to the equipment as a "rental", and it would continue to be a "rental" until August, when I officially "owned" it, even though I paid in full for it already. That didn't make a lot of sense, but this is my first experience with CPAP machines, maybe I'm not just well-informed on how things are done. It's now April, just a few months after all this began, and the insurance got billed again, but this time it was denied. It will be interesting to see if any "love letters" come from CPAP Services to pay a denied claim. By the way, the invoice I have from them does say "Purchase", not "Rental". I am already getting new supplies from a different source. Just in time, too, because they have started contacting me to remind me to get additional supplies from them. They called, even though my intake form says email is preferred. As a side note, they have you "X" something on their form saying that "Patient agrees to enroll in our Re-Supply program". I no longer agree, given all this. That said, the supplies don't cost anywhere near $500/month. My first round of supplies through this other source is $85, for six months. read more

The customer service at CPAP Services is so bad that I have switched to another provider. First, in my initial appointment, the woman I saw gave me incorrect information about how long I should use the CPAP machine each night. She said that I could remove it after 4 or 5 hours. I checked with with my physician who said that it was important for me to wear it all night. Apparently, Medicare will pay for the machine if it is used for 4 or 5 hours a night. But, it is not good for the person with sleep apnea to take the machine off after that amount of time. I was concerned that I was given incorrect information, but I continued with CPAP services. After 3 months, I received my supplies from them. The new face mask, packed in a sealed package along with the other items used with it, was the wrong size. I called to ask for the right size face mask to be sent to me, and I asked for them to send it quickly. I did get it quickly, but I got the face mask only---in a zip lock bag, not in a new sealed bag and not with the other items that should have come with it. I spent a lot of time--and many phone calls--on the phone with CPAP services trying to get what they should have sent me in the first place. I was unsuccessful. Extremely frustrating! I decided to switch to another company which has been MUCH better! CPAP Services did continue to send me bills for a very small amount of money. It turns out that Medicare pays for rental of the CPAP machine, and CPAP Services is charging me for the amount (a little more than $1) for rental. I just want to be done with CPAP Services! I offered to pay the $6 to $7 in advance so that I don't have to deal with them anymore. It looks as if that is not possible. I don't want for them to charge my card each month. I am now trying to figure out how I can begin rental of the machine from the other company. Hopefully I can do that so that I can be done with CPAP Services. read more

CPAP Services has poor customer service when ordering CPAP maintenance supplies (mask, tubing, filter, etc.). They were efficient with taking my order, and immediately charging my credit card, with a promise my order would be shipped out a day later. I waited for a week or so, called them, and was told there was a problem with my order. My order was just sitting there on hold, because they were waiting for 1 item (additional mask cushions). But they had never contacted me about this - No Follow-Up, No Communication! After 3 weeks, I finally received my order, long after I needed a new mask. I strongly recommend going elsewhere for ordering supplies! read more

I never thought I'd find it - a CPAP DME that is wonderful! I have been on CPAP for over 8 years. I had given up on using a local DME (Durable Medical Equipment Provider) and ordered off the internet, even though I have great insurance. I generally ended up not getting around to submitting my mask insurance claims, so didn't really save any money, but the level of service was the same and I didn't feel so frustrated that someone incompetent was getting big bucks for lousy or no service. Based upon my experience with the local DMEs, shopping online had become the preferable option. That all changed yesterday when I went in for a new Bi-Pap machine. The people at CPAP Services were incredibly good: technical, financial, caring "bedside manner," they had it all. To begin with, Theresa, whom I talked to first on the phone, researched to be sure she could get exactly the machine I was looking for (I did my machine research online and with my new sleep doc's advice). She was great about calling me back right away and immediately confirming that she'd have the new machine in and we set an appointment for me to pick it up. My previous experience with DMEs had been that I did just that - picked up the machine. It always made me mad to see the bill submitted to my insurance. Hundreds of dollars for a "fitting" and expert help, when, in reality, the technician generally just handed me the item and took my co-pay. What a world of difference this appointment was. My appointment with Steve (the technician) was right on time. He had my machine and all the associated paperwork ready to go. Now for the big shock. He took the time to go over every aspect of my new machine. He didn't assume I knew everything because I'd been using a CPAP for so long. Actually, I learned so much from his going through everything in detail. He also had me go through the setup and details with my own hands, so I wouldn't be fumbling around that night when I went to set it up at home. The company is very thorough. Steve had a checklist they've created. Because of this, I believe that I would have gotten the same excellent service with any of their technicians. All along the way, he asked if I had any questions and made sure I was totally comfortable with the process and understood everything. A nice extra - I was sent home with my own personal folder with all my instructions and "how-to" in it, along with a copy of every paper I had signed. The only thing I'd gotten at other DMEs was a copy of their bill! The company is situated in a nice new building. Not big, but clean, well-lighted and inviting. They actually had a receptionist to greet me and lots of masks in an attractive display. Trust me, this is not the norm at other companies! I am not in the habit of writing glowing reports. Actually, I see so little good customer service, I'm usually complaining. Imagine my surprise to find a company which has well-trained, caring employees who really know their business and do it with enthusiasm! I am so grateful to have found CPAP Services. No more putting up with sub-par service from other DMEs or online hit-or-miss for me! read more

CPAP Services is the BEST! First, some background: My doc referred me to several national DME providers on my plan, so I contacted each by email and phone. None had an actual person monitoring the phones so I was unable to speak to a representative. I left messages, and days later received responses. During the delay I decided to check Yelp and found that each of these companies had terrible customer service records. Thursday - 10/31/13: I decided to do my own search for an equipment provider and discovered CPAP Services. One phone call on a and I was speaking to a live and friendly person. She referred me to their CPAP specialist "Aline" who was busy with a patient at the time. The representative suggested I email Aline my information so she could start working on it and passed my contact info to her for a follow-up call. Within an hour, Aline contacted me and went to work gathering the information from my doc and insurance company to move things forward. Friday - 11/1/13: There was some confusion at the doc's office which delayed the approval process. I was frustrated, but Aline stayed on top of things and worked hard to get my equipment approved. Once my prescription was faxed-in, she found that the unit I was prescribed was out of stock , but expected to arrive the following week. She scheduled an appointment with me for the following Wednesday and said she would reschedule sooner if the equipment arrived early. Saturday - 11/2/13: Aline decided to work a half day and called with the unexpected news that she had received a shipment and my equipment was available for pick-up! She set me up for an 11am appointment and I arrived a little early. She was very helpful and showed me a variety of masks which I tried on. They have a wide variety of masks and chin straps which allowed me to get the right fit for my face and sleep-style. I left with all the equipment, some extra filters and a good understanding of its function. I had a great experience with CPAP Services. Aline is very patient, helpful and obviously loves what she does. She is the type of person you would want to have as a friend and as long as she is at CPAP Services I will be a loyal customer! read more

This is the only location you should go to get your CPAP machine. After being fitted, there is so much personal care provided. The customer service provided by Loan Chau has been above and beyond. I'm just adding another five star review because these folks deserve it. Finally a DME where the people actually care about the patient! What a novel idea!!! The last DME I dealt with tried to charge me $940 for a mask which should have cost arount $175. These folks really shine in an industry that seems to attract some pretty unsavory characters. Thank you so much CPAP Services, for caring. read more

Nia at CPAP Services helped me get a new CPAP mask using my insurance with minimal hassle. One great thing is that I could talk to the same friendly person throughout the process and not deal with a byzantine phone menu (I'm talking to you Apria). Highly recommend. Minor nits: - They were going to charge me a higher price than on their website, but they quickly matched it once I pointed it out. - They opened the mask package before sending it to me and took out the Small and Large nasal pillows and left the Medium. They didn't tell me they were going to do this and I don't remember telling them I used a Medium pillow. That said, they were very friendly on the phone and sent me the Small pillow for free. read more

CPAP Services became a new CPAP provider for me when I went into Medicare a few years back. The improvement over my former provider was like night and day (or sleep and wake!) I met Mahnaz Amini , or Jazz, as she prefers, when I was disgruntled about CPAP supplies, equipment and my whole apnea history, but I knew it was a medical therapy I needed. Initially, Jazz helped get my supplies back into a manageable order. She taught me how to set my temperature and humidity levels and fitted me with a new mask that is the best I've used in over 15 years on CPAP. With Jazz managing my equipment and supplies needs, I know I will always have what I need when I need it and they handle all the insurance billing. With Jazz and CPAP Services, I can "enjoy a good night's - CPAP Assisted - sleep!" You will not be disappointed in working with Jazz and all of CPAP Services! John Watsonville, CA read more

This is a fairly new business. They are still in the process of getting all their insurance ducks in a row. I walked in off the street, and they treated me like a valued long time customer. They were very knowledgeable and professional. After my experience with AdvantaCare, I was pleasantly surprised. They are not yet in my health care network so they gave me a decent discount on the products I purchased. They were very helpful in fitting me and making sure I had the correct sizes of everything. I would have given them 5 stars if they had accepted my health care plan. Hopefully, by the time I go back for more supplies, they will have all their insurance affiliations in order. read more

I chose CPAP services because they were recommended by my sleep doctor after I changed from Pulmonary Solutions, (another company that was poor on customer service.) CPAP services were OK for the first year after I purchased a new BiPAP machine from them but they started to get more cost conscious rather than provide customer service during the 2014 fiscal year. My last visit was the final straw. I took back a face-mask that they recommended I try out. I paid full retail because they are not listed under United Health Care yet. I was told I could exchange it if it didn't work out. Following a sleep study I did, it was recommended I use a completely different face mask. I went back to CPAP services to exchange the face mask but they told me I didn't return it within 30 days and wouldn't exchange it. I escalated the issue with a manger and informed him that nobody told me I had to return it within 30 days. He wouldn't exchange it so I told him I would never return, profit over customer service. The employees should have told me about the 30 day return policy. My sleep study prevented me from returning the face mask earlier because they rescheduled a few times. I guess the message is, these facilities are not regulated and therefore they can do what the hell they like, screw the customer. Its about time we patients lobbied the government to regulate these facilities so we get fair treatment to help us with our debilitating medical condition - sleep apnea read more
