Went for a walk and enjoyed the solitude. It was a beautiful day and this is a well maintained clean park. There are number of people walking at various ages. There were couples on a picnic and people napping. I loved the outdoor using coming from the speakers. Until next time.

Beautiful venue with a serene lake and ample amphitheater! This is a popular place for walking, jogging, and hosting events. There are places to sit down, have a picnic and observe wildlife. Free parking nearby at the adjacent mall. There's a speaker system that played music during the event that we attended while here. The area is well lit and not too far from I4. The area is also very well maintained.

Definitely worth adding to your holiday rotation. I went with my husband and 3yr old daughter. We walked around to see all the Christmas lights. Made it about half way around before the little one started to melt down. The beautiful lights were worth the trip. We will be back.

This is absolutely gorgeous at the holidays and from the reviews it's well maintained all year round! I walked around the lake on the very clean walkways to see the lights on a beautiful cool Friday evening and found lots of parking close to walk around safely with nice crowds of couples, fitness enthusiasts and families enjoying the park with a few security guards for peace of mind. There are plenty of seating areas and play areas for kids throughout the walkways and the upscale surrounding living ,shopping and restaurants make the entire space amazing to visit!

never knew how beautiful Cranes Roost Park was until this event! The lake views, well-maintained walkways, and relaxing atmosphere made it the perfect spot for Taste of Altamonte. I was surprised to learn that the full loop around the lake is a mile long--such a great place for a scenic stroll. The sunset? Absolutely immaculate. Watching the sky change colors over the water while enjoying delicious bites from local vendors made the night even better. The event itself was well-organized, with a great variety of food, friendly vendors, and live entertainment to set the vibe.

I occasionally venture out to Crane's Roost Park to either attend an event or enjoy a scenic 1-mile walk around the lake. During walks, it is possible to see a variety of wildlife such as birds, turtles and fish. The park is a beautiful, well-designed space. It is a great place for a walk or jog or just to sit out and enjoy the weather and nature. No wheels are allowed so leave the bikes, skates, etc. at home. On one side of the park is an amphitheater that is often used for shows and programs, along with restrooms and various places to sit. The location is near the Altamonte Springs Mall, AMC Movie Theater and a number of restaurants and shops. This is convenient, especially if there are no events that are hosting food trucks or other street food vendors. There is plenty of free parking and in the nearby Mall parking lot which is another plus. I definitely recommend checking out this park if you haven't already.

I went to this park for the Taste of Altamonte event last week. Parking was quite easy at the garage or lot at the mall nearby. It's an easy walk to the park from the mall, and there is plenty of space to walk around the lake. Since I was at the event, they blocked some of the areas including the central area, but still there were other spaces to walk for the non guests. I loved the views of the lake, especially during the night when the park and buildings are lit up. The fountain in the central area is quite nice and well lit. We also had a wonderful band playing live music during the event, which was very enjoyable. There are even restaurants nearby the park, so you can enjoy food and drinks after a nice walk. And of course you can shop at the mall nearby. It's definitely a very nice park in the Altamonte Springs area.

Nice park with plenty of space to walk jug or run, the park is so big that the walking trail takes you Around the whole lake. There is always some type of event going on here and lots of people so you can feel free if you come here to walk or just clear your mind. Plenty of restaurants near by so if you get hungry after your walk/ run you can grab something to eat.

Crane's Roost is one of my favorite places to walk in the Orlando area. The full loop is about a mile long and gives you beautiful scenery the whole way through. Plan on seeing plenty of ducks and turtles on your stroll or experience the beautiful color-changing lights if you go in the evening. Just be warned, there aren't many covered areas so it can get pretty hot depending on the weather.

Cranes Roost Park is a nice park just off of Interstate 4 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. It is a nice park, though it has more of a sidewalk around a lake and maybe downtown walking type thing more than an actual park. Cranes Roost Park is named because it surrounds Crane Roost Lake and is host to the popular 4th of July fireworks display. The park itself was a pleasant enough experience and I enjoyed my time over here and even though it was a bit chilly (the temperature was just under fifty degrees), it was nice enough to spend some time here. If you find yourself in the Altamonte Springs, Florida area and are looking for a place to chill for a bit, go check out Cranes Roost Park.

If you have not been to this park, you are missing out. The park has a walking path over the water and is close to nice greenery areas for workouts and some yoga. I do know the City of Altamonte Springs does fit classes there once a week and events. I also enjoy all of the pokemon gyms and spins at this location too. The piece of art was so gorgeous I had to share. It is a mama nurturing her young. I would definitely recommend this location for family and friends. They have free parking and restaurants within walking distance. The park staff are friendly and always seen taking care of it when I go for walks Saturday morning.

Kids will spend hours playing and on the two imaginative playgrounds. Secret Lake Park is also home to the recently renovated Casselberry Recreation Center which has a main room, ballroom, billiards room, computer room, outdoor deck area, activity room, and outdoor pavilions. I found out about this park because I came with my wife, our son, and our granddaughter for a playdate. The park is home to the Altamonte Fast Pitch Academy and Babe Ruth Softball. They have three full size softball fields that are used for the softball academy, for Babe Ruth Softball, and you can also use them to practice on as well. Located between the three fields is a concession stand and the restrooms. What I really lived about this park is the three playground areas they have, each playground has their own set of things for kids to play on and a different theme for each area. They also have a swing-set area which includes a swing that you can sit in with your child and be able to swing together. There are also to pavilion areas for you to choose from one is called Oak Pavilion and the other is the Beach Pavilion which has two beach volleyball courts for you to play volleyball on which is a nice touch. Lastly I love the scenery of the park it has lots of great looking trees around the park. So if you are ever in the Altamonte, FL area and you want a nice secluded park to take your family to then I would recommend Merrill Park.

Basically, a battle of the local rock and roll bands - a variety of different members from different bands come together on two teams for one day with a purpose to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Tickets are only $5, bring a foldup chair, 10x10 tent, a cooler and it's a great time watching all of our friends compete with one another on the field. Torcaso Cove Park is a great place to hold this event. There is a spacious field with plenty of space on the sidelines for fans. There are several parking areas available making parking easy for large events. There was plenty of space for a half-time show with live music right by the field. There were also a BBQ vendor and several other vendors on site selling food, jewelry, and other items. The park has a public restroom, a playground, splash park, sand pits, plenty of paved walking areas, a picnic area with tables, large pavilion, a beautiful bridge that crosses the heart shaped cove, the park has a bunch of Muscovy ducks waddling around and is dog friendly, what else can you ask for. Nancy and I really enjoyed our time at the park, we will definitely be back to bring our dog and take a nice walk. I just have to mention that it was a bit muddy on the field, even on a hot sunny day. So be sure to wear something you don't care about getting dirty.

There are 3 play areas: 2 for the big kids, and a pirate themed area for the little kids. There is also a splash pad, and I will openly admit to running through recently, as I chose to go on my run when it was over 95 degrees. The park is very clean, and well cared for, and it's right next to the Winter Springs Police Department, and on this day they had an event bringing awareness to autism; I was offered a popsicle and gladly grabbed it. I sat on a bench to watch a soccer match, while I finished my cold treat, stretched a bit, put on my weighted vest, waved to the ducks, and took off. Perfect park on a perfect day :)
