Lake Lily Park is as adorable as its name. It's a small park area but it's so quaint, just off of the small downtown of Maitland and a great spot to hang out. There's a nice walking path that circles the small Lake Lily- you'd have to do quite a few laps to reach a mile but it's still getting steps in. All along the path are benches and other seating, even a cute gazebo. There's a kid playground and bathrooms and it's really a wonderful place to spend an afternoon, bring your dog or a good book and chill.

I live near this park and often walk through it while on my way to run errands. Lake Lily Park is so beautiful and peaceful, making it lovely to explore during the day. When I'm there, there aren't that many others who are around except for a couple people running, or strolling by. There are benches to relax on and soak in the tranquility. Personally, I enjoy looking into the water and seeing the turtles sunning themselves, or the other aquatic life swimming around. I love that the park erects a Christmas tree in the middle of the lake to add to the festive feeling of the season! Definitely worth the visit if you enjoy nature and some quiet time!

Lake Lily has a long history in the area dating back to when the foot path around the lake was used by Native Americans. During the Second Seminole War the route was used to transport supplies between Fort Mellon in Sanford, Fort Gatlin in Orlando, Ft. Maitland which was across the street from the park. In 1916 this route named Lake Lily Drive became the first grouted brick road in Florida. During the 19th century, Lake Lily was used as a watering hole and to launder clothes. Today the 10 acre Lake Lily Park sits on the shore of Lake Lily. Park amenities include a 1/2 mile walking trail, playground, a rentable wedding gazebo, a boardwalk, restrooms, and benches around the lake. The park also has several historical buildings including the Waterhouse Museum, a preserved late 19th Century home that is available for tours through the Maitland Art and History Association. I loved my visit to Lake Lily Park where a highlight was finding a gopher tortoise and a red shouldered hawk sitting in a tree. Lake Lily Park is ideal for recreation, history, education, and community festivals.

The park is starting to decorate for the holidays which is a beautiful addition to nighttime walks.

This park is so pretty! They have clean restrooms near the playground. There are picnic tables, a paved pathway around the park, a gazebo, a fountain and lilly pads. I took a fun art class here at The Cottage at Lake Lily here at Lake Lily Park. There is a farmers market on Sundays from 9am-1pm that I have been to before here.

Located in the heart of downtown Maitland, Lake Lily Park offers an easily accessible retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The approximately 0.5 mile loop around the lake invites a leisurely stroll or a run. Benches and tables placed strategically allow for time to eat lunch and chat or to reflect. In the blocks surrounding Lake Lily, restaurants abound, and with the street lamp lighting in the park, your post-meal stroll can be a romantic one (of course we all know it takes more than good food, street lamps and a lake to make it romantic). Farmers Market and Art Festivals are regularly held here during non-pandemic times. The restrooms are currently closed due to COVID-19; however, the city placed next-level port-a-potties, presumably to effectively clean and disinfect during the pandemic, next to the path. The parking can be a challenge on busy days, due to events, and, any at other time if you drive a SUV or larger vehicle. One obvious "elephant in the room" - Lake Lily has more than its share of ducks (and their you-know-what) that you will need to avoid on certain occasions! But, sunsets and evening maybe here can be pretty spectacular and definitely worth the trip!

Small but great local park. The kids love the play area and running around the lake looking for wildlife. Our family enjoys picking up food from one of the nearby restaurants (Teak, Luke's, Olea, Anthony's, Athena's...the list goes on) and having a picnic while also fending off the ducks or birds that often try to steal your food if you are not looking.

Such a nice, quiet, peaceful place. We came here for a stroll just to relax and it was very calming. The trails and views are a literal breath of fresh air. We loved it.

I love Lake Lily Park in Maitland! There are a lot of great features about this park: - Small loop around a beautiful lake with a lot of shade - Playground for the kids, including slides and swings - Sunrail rides by (doesn't stop here) on the weekdays, which is a fun thing for toddlers and little kids to watch - Clean bathrooms with a changing table in the women's restroom - Benches throughout the park - A great Farmers Market on Sunday mornings! What I love about this park is that it is quiet and easy to find off of highway 17-92. The parking sometimes can be busy on the weekends, so you may have to find parking down the street, which is the only negative. Enjoy this fun little park to relax, play, or workout!

A pleasant respite from the hustle and bustle of the metropolitan Orlando area. It is not large, by any means, but it is well laid out around a small lake and allows its visitors an escape from the day to day grind. Walking the park, it is hard to believe you are mere feet from busy 17/92, it is easy to transport yourself to a better frame of mind and recharge your soul within the tranquil setting. Seek this place out if you are in the area, your soul will thank you.

Nice small park. They occasionally have events with live music. A good place to visit and walk around the lake. It's very small but nice. There are a few nice restaurants that are close.

Great Pizza, even better views. Grateful to be outdoors away from home.

Lake Lily is great for photography (lots of wildlife), picnics (lots of tables and benches), exercise, walking, biking and relaxing. Bring your own table cloth and order pizza and wine to go at Antonio's across the street. Perfect date night even during the pandemic.

This is a great little park for a nighttime stroll (they close at 10pm). It's quiet, lots of doggy stations, and very well lit.
