They had the fairest price in town and when the scope on the work changed to include much more work, the estimate did not change. I was shocked!! I felt that he really cared and wanted to get my project done with the utmost professionalism and pride of ownership. It was really refreshing to see such integrity in a company, and especially for such a small job accordingly. I had some issues with my roof that I needed some specific repairs and then I needed it to be documented in a way that would show the buyers of my home progress of said repairs. Donnie took photos of before, during, and after. He compiled these photos on the invoice so that I could present them to the buyers agent and instill confidence that the repairs had been completed per our contract. I was very pleased as this service was over and above what I expected. He really understood what was needed and delivered on all accounts. Way to go! They have always been fair with their prices and prompt with their service. This time we were working with a 30 year old roof. Over the 13 years we've owned the home we've had a few repairs and patches. This time Oliver said he could repair the one section that was leaking and reattach the tiles that had fallen of the peaks for $1500 or replace the whole roof for $12000. 6 years ago I had a quote from another contractor for $16000. I wanted the complete roof because we are going to put solar on the roof and the last thing you need is incremental repairs where they need to remove and replace panels. The issue with Porter is they are busy. Very busy. So we had to wait 3 months for them to get to our roof. The winter rains delayed the date an extra month but once they got us on the schedule they showed up every day for 3 days solid and did an excellent job. How do I know. Because I watched them work for several hours over the three days. They replaced wood where it needed it and did an excellent job replacing all the flashing. They cleaned up every day and when they left on day three, other than seeing the new flashing and straight edges on the tiles you'd never know they were here. When I told Oliver we were putting up solar panels he said after they were up to let him know and he would inspect the roof for cracked tiles and the places where they secure the racks to make sure his roof would last. He would also come out once a year and make sure there were no problems or fix them before they became a problem. I strongly recommend using Porter Roofing even after you read the one star reviews.

Porter roofing owner Dennis Porter came out and inspected roof and told us it was an easy fix replacing 7 tiles with new underlayment for about $1000. We hired them again once we sold our house in Gilbert 2017 and they addresses minor issues that were mentioned during home inspection purchased by the buyers of our home. Moving forward we just sold our Mesa home and the prospective buyers were concerned about possible roof problems and were concerned by suggestions in the home inspection report. Oliver Porter came out and inspected our roof, tiles, underlayment and our attic. Told us our roof was in good shape and that we only needed 2 tiles and concrete end caps repaired. Total $350 repair. I went with the best underlayment available (Westlake Tile Seal). Once the deposit was made, the project went as scheduled without any hiccups. TSM was "On Time, and On Schedule" and kept me informed on every step, which is very important to me. Material was delivered the day before as scheduled. Next day, to my surprise, the work crews (note: I said "crews") not just one crew but 14 guys showed up at 6:00 am and went to work immediately. Being respectful of my neighbors TSM laid down tarps all around the house for debris and such. By 3:00pm they were done. Yard cleaned including my neighbor's adjoining sidewalks. By 4pm I was back relaxing in my home with my new roof. Bottom line question is, "Would I recommend TSM to my friends and neighbors?
