In late 2013 and early 2014, we hired Craig to remodel my parent's house in Campbell. At the time, my parents lived in SoCal, and my wife and I were left to modernize the house. This was our first rodeo too. The house was a 1954 fixer upper, and we needed to tear it down to the studs, raise the ceiling, move the kitchen and add a bath, building a mud room, while updating the electrical, hvac, and plumbing. It was a painless remodel and it has to do with Craig and his son Gary's eye for detail. If something isn't right, they will fix it and if you have a question, they will give you an honest opinion on if it works or doesn't work. The workmanship is top notch, the mill work, flooring etc are top notch. About a year after the remodel, we found a leak in the house and we called Craig and he came over fixed it in 1 day, replaced the dry wall, patch the floor and repainted the area. It is the followup that is also impressive. BTW, my wife and I were living in a new construction, and over the course of the year, little things show up and our contractor would come and fix it. So for first timers, please don't expect a complicated remodel to be 100% perfect, however do give the contractor a chance to fix it. To this day, my family loves the house!
Now in 2020, my wife and I are remodeling our own house, and we interviewed other contractors, but we ended up hiring Craig and Gary to help remodel. I would say Craig isn't the cheapest or the most expensive, however he does give you the peace of mind that things are going to be done right. That is important, because life is already stressful. Our house is another 1960 fixer upper and we can't wait to see it finished. read more
