The food was DELICIOUS! I had a Cuban sandwich that was outstanding, my friend had the Greek salad - also outstanding, and the best of all was the pork rib grilled cheeses!! Service was a little spotty - our server was very nice when she paid attention to us but overall was quite inattentive! We cleared our own table because we got tired of having the dirty dishes in front of us while we finished our drinks and opened birthday gifts. We wanted a pastry for desert which we had to get up and go order at the counter - when she brought it she didn't bring any silverware so we had to go hunt down our own. This is place is clean, modern and the food tastes made with clean ingredients. They offer a good amount of gluten free items, which is great since my boyfriend is sensitive to gluten. My boyfriend really liked their gluten free ube scone. I really enjoyed their ube bread pudding! So good! I warmed it up and poured the icing on top. Definitely recommend. There was an issue with my dish, and when we brought it to the server, they were very apologetic. Not a single restaurant is perfect and mistakes are going to happen, what matters is the effort to correct. We are very happy with the way they handled the mistake. First time here and I was so impressed with the ambiance. It has such an upscale vibe for a neighborhood restaurant. I ordered the potato cake Benedict and it was delicious. I also ordered a carajillo and ube bread pudding. The carajillo was perfect. The bread pudding was big enough to share between 4 people. I wish it was hot and had more drizzle to enjoy with every bite. Only thing that was off putting was when the server came around to fill out water glasses he grabbed my glass from the rim of the cup. During a Sunday Brunch, "Father's Day" my daughter put her name in for a table for 5 and we waited 1 1/2 hours to be seated and they sat us at a 4 top table. I then complained and they put and chair at the end of the table. I then asked for an additional table to be brought to the end of our 4 top and they brought one over. On both occasions the food was good. All four dishes we tried were neither bad nor memorable. The service on both occasions felt like it was a tic off. Staff are always nice and friendly here. The food menu is quite large with many vegetarian options. I love that there is a seasonal menu to get new items that we haven't tried before. On this visit I got their seasonal brown sugar oat latte which was way better than sbux. I didn't really enjoy the regular menu item of veggie goat cheese frittata since there was a weird flavor so pass on that, and I usually love that kind of stuff. What was really good was my husband's pork carnitas omelet. It has the right amount of meat to egg ratio and was delish! I wish I had ordered that instead!!!
