I am glad I found Luz because we worked so well together and she really cares about her clients no matter what age group and background. With any major project may come unexpected issues, but Luz was able to quickly address them and still made it possible to stay close to budget. I also want to sincerely thank Salvador, Juan, and Jeremaya for blessing our house with their craftsmanship. You added your professional touch and I couldn't be happier. I spoke to Luz on the phone and she immediately had a vision for the house even before she stepped foot in the house. I appreciate that this company also helps design, as other companies I spoke to did not and would require me to source materials on my own which of course I had no knowledge of. Luz, her husband Ohad, and their team worked tirelessly on creating an updated home. Even though the scope of work increased (and we did go way past original budget, as I agreed to), I now have a house that not only I can be proud of but also one that is sure to last another 40-50 years. And even though there were some construction kinks at the end, the team was quick to address them and are still easily reached even long after the project was finished. Thank you, Golden Hands Builders, for your miracle hands to make my home a renewed dream.

You can really tell how good someone you hire is after you've paid them--not before…read more We completely remodeled our house two years ago. It was a major project: we took everything down to the studs and even moved our staircase. We interviewed three contractors and ultimately chose Supreme because a friend told me Micky was fair and honest. This was my first time doing any kind of remodeling, and I learned a lot. The biggest takeaway was that things will go wrong after the job is complete. What matters is how the contractor handles those issues. In the two years since the project wrapped up, a few things have come up--and just like my friend said, Micky stood by his word and took care of them. His pricing was fair as well. In fact, Micky once used me as a reference, and the person he was speaking with asked if Micky was "honey-potting" him because Supreme's bid was lower than everyone else's. I told him no--if Micky makes a mistake on a cost, he doesn't try to pass it on to you.

Everything came out exactly as planned, and their proposal worked within our budget while the final result far exceeded our expectations. Communication was excellent throughout the project. Mike and both of our foremen were responsive, easy to work with, and kept us informed along the way. The crews worked long days and accomplished major milestones in a very timely manner. We also appreciated how flexible the entire team was whenever we wanted to make an update or change during the project. Because our home was built in 1957, we knew there was a possibility of uncovering some additional work once construction began. As expected, we ended up needing some significant updates, including repiping and a new electrical panel to bring our home up to current code. MC Construction handled these unexpected items extremely well. The work was completed at a fair price, and our foremen worked closely with the city throughout the permitting and inspection process. We passed every inspection without an issue, which gave us a lot of confidence in the quality of their work. Another thing we really appreciated was how clean the crews left our home and work areas at the end of each day. That attention to detail made living through a major construction project much easier. Overall, we are extremely happy with both the experience and the finished product. Great communication, quality workmanship, fair pricing, flexibility, and a team that truly followed through on what they promised. We highly recommend MC Construction & Design!

Just about every part of the build needed to be addressed from the mistakes that were made. The foundation needed to be moved because they said they didn't need the surveyor to stake it because they should be very close. When the inspector came out before the pour, they were of by an inch for the 4 foot clearance. The inspector made them move it. They fell so far behind they were doing drywall before the windows were installed. Only one window was in the right location. All the ruff openings had to be moved. The soffit for the kitchen cabinets was framed wrong. Just about every faze of the build needed to be corrected. We went through 7 project managers. Luckily I have some knowledge about construction and was able to pick up these mistakes before it became a bigger problem. Having my brother in law as the architect didn't hurt either. The only thing I can say is the ADU came out nice. If you think you can deal with this type of experience, by all means go for it. Oh forgot one thing. On the day of an inspection the inspector had to be escorted by the fire department because they hit my gas line. The next day they hit it again. Instead of following the line they started where they wanted to finish and hit it again. Think carefully in your disiscion.
