I had done several remodeling and design projects, but had moved to a new area and couldn't use a contractor I had worked with in the past. In looking for a contractor to remodel the kitchen, dining room and laundry room (plus things like new roof, new floor, and paint inside and out) of our midcentury ranch-style home, we had the challenging goal of wanting to use high-end materials, finishes and appliances, have great quality worksmanship, and stay within a relatively modest budget.
