The only thing I was not impressed with is it seemed like the drink I was recommended was not a favorite of the bar tender's to make. Our waiter kept saying how the bar tender was getting annoyed with him for putting the orders in. But it was so yummy I kept ordering! Classy place with very hip vibe. I really want to know where their Interior Designer came from because it is pretty effin amazing. They have some very interesting and unique cocktail choices but if you prefer classics they do an excellent job with those. The food is all over the place but in very good way. Their popcorn cauliflower blew me away. They have several options for classic and so trendy now Charcuterie boards and each one is impressive. Their pizzas are great and include traditional options (mushroom one was excellent) along with some more unique ones. I bet this place packs them in during The Masters. We tried the restaurant tonight. We were disappointed in the food and service. The atmosphere was good but service was slow, food came out and different times, one item forgotten had to be reordered and I got tired of waiting on plates and got up and got them myself. Food is overpriced but the atmosphere makes up for it. One item (pizza) was burnt on the bottom of the crust. The burnt flavor overwhelmed everything else. I've had lots of fire grilled type piazzas and this was not good. I think the grill just needed cleaned, we didn't eat most of it. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said she would tell the manger but the manager never stopped by and when I got the check it was still on it. We just left. Some of the reviews here are good so maybe it was just an off night but i can't see going back. read more

I've been here twice with the SO, and both visits were phenomenal. First off, the restaurant itself is beautiful. It feels very modern and clean, exactly what I would expect of a venue advertising fine dining. The restrooms even provide fresh hand towels to dry hands with - something I've never seen in the restaurant business but still something I was impressed by. We went on a Saturday night for cocktails. I was DD so I had coffee; It was a French press style and it was great, exactly what I would expect. From what I heard the drinks were fantastic also. Our bartender, Nick (effectively and from hear on out referred to as "The Beard") was extremely helpful and skilled at his craft. He explained every drink to us and told us the story behind each drink. It really makes the experience a lot of fun, so we were really happy with his quality of service. We returned this evening for dinner and I am so glad that we did. Our server, Ashley, was probably the best server I've ever had the pleasure of dining with. She was very knowledgeable about the menu items and was able to give great recommendations on items based on the food that we were looking for. She was also very attentive and checked on our table periodically to see if we needed anything at all. She had this crazy talent of always coming exactly when we needed something, whether it be more water at the table or a new straw. What stole the show was Chef Preston's cooking. We had a little bit of everything - appetizers, cheese and meat platter, pizza, and dessert - and it was all simply phenomenal. You have the option of either having everything coming out or staggering the meal as the dishes are prepared. I highly recommend receiving the staggered meal, as you'll have plenty of time to enjoy an individual dish (also, who would ever be against continuously eating great food??). Visiting Craft and Vine has been a great experience on both occasions (especially for the SO, who is so difficult to impress, was hugging Chef Preston by the end of the meal). There is no possible feedback I could give, as there are no areas that need to be improved on. You get more than what you pay for here, that's for sure. This is our favorite restaurant period. In over 10 visits there was single item (an appetizer) that wasn't somewhere between fantastic and mind blowing. They have some of the best cocktails and the environment is awesome. The revolving menu means it's exciting every time. I take every family member who visits here at least once. Can't rave enough, definitely check it out. It is expensive but they more than earn every cent you spend. I only bring it up so you aren't surprised. This is one of my favorite places in Augusta. The staff is wonderful- knowledgeable, professional (while keeping it fun and showing their personality) and generally phenomenal. The food is excellent- the mushroom pizza is my favorite pizza; all while sipping on an excellently crafted old fashioned. If you're looking for a fun environment with food and drinks to make you keep ordering more this is the place to be. And if you're feeling fun, try a Chambong. Better yet get the whole table to do one. They've pretty much got something for everyone. Want an amazing pizza, done. Want charcuterie plate paired with excellent wine (even some high end wines by the glass or even a taste), done. Oysters or mussels, done. Even the beer list doesn't disappoint- local and regional craft beers only on draft. FYI it gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays so go early (or late) or be prepared to wait - but don't worry you can wait with a drink in hand. read more

Happenstance brought me into Craft & Vine, but it was the greatest gift from fate I've had in a long time. We started with the deviled eggs and they were wonderful. Fried capers and smoked salmon topped them off to make a special treat. I had the bees pajamas for a cocktail and it was so wonderful that I had to order another. The pork rinds and the goat cheese spread was wonderful! The pizza was delicious as well but I enjoyed the unique items on the menu more. Great service and amazing atmosphere.
