Over all a great experience, close to a five star. We had a very knowledgeable server who was attentive. Their beer selection is top notch and appears to rotate regularly. The menu is mostly pub inspired. Wife and I split the poke and super salad. The poke was very good, could have used a smaller cut on the tuna but it was a hit. The salad was a miss, needed a bit more dressing, we were left with a large pile of raw greens with chopped pecans to get through. Our appetite on this visit dictated our choices, can not wait to visit again to try out a burger or some oysters. read more

The burgers and fries were very delicious, however the restaurant is very expensive. The menu for the build-your-own burger only showed a price of $1.50 for toppings but not for the sauces and cheeses, so we made sure with our waitress that we would not be charged for those items. We were very surprised when the bill for two burgers was over $40 because we were charged for adding the cheese/sauces. Our waitress was also never present when we were ready to order/had a question despite it being a very slow day. While delicious and with beautiful decor, the restaurant needs to train its wait staff in guest relations. read more

Service was great. Our bartender Kiley was very friendly and was able to make wonderful drink and beer suggestions for us. We ordered only a side of parmesan truffle fries, but they were great! read more

Food is great! The tot chos were unique and tasty. 2 of us had make your own burgers and they had a lot of flavor. One had the crab cakes and it was more than one could eat at a single sitting and very tasty I would have given 5 stars but the place had an issue this night with lots of flies (counted 4 on window next to us and saw some on other windows too... It is annoying to be sitting inside and have to swat flies away from my food. Suggest getting those door blower things to keep them out. We are from out of town but will be back on next trip into area! read more

Very nice atmosphere in this recently renovated eatery. Something for everyone. Our table had make-your-own burger, veggie pizza, and crab cake sandwiches. All quite tasty! Parmesan- truffle oil fries were excellent! All beverages (beer and wine) were fairly priced and of good quality and quantity. Service was quick and attentive (but not overly so) Will be returning next time in the area. read more

We love Craft 31! Our most recent visit was on a Friday evening - definitely recommend making a reservation. We were able to be accommodated on the patio, but it was very hot! The fans blowing were much appreciated. The food and drinks took longer than usual but our server Rylee did a great job. Every time I've been there the manager has been engaging and walked by to check in and make sure everything was fine. My usual is the Carolina bbq sandwich - so good! read more

Food could have been better, nice looking place to hang out and watch sports, service terrible, couldnt eat my oysters cause they had a ridiculous amount of shells in them, told waitress and they rolled their eyes at me and didnt even offer to change them out. Whoever shucked those things didnt even try. Beer selection good, took forever to get service and food. Wont be returning. read more

Had both the crab pizza and a BYO both of which were tasty. The beer selection was more than ample. The service was a bit on the slow side as only one bartender working 15+ seats between inside/out. read more

This place is a gem. The bartenders knew their craft brews and the food was excellent. They had a large selection of craft brews on tap.

Went for the first time after hearing good things - everything was excellent! Great beer, delicious food, attentive service (and super nice to our two kids), reasonably priced. Overall a fantastic experience and we will definitely go back....this weekend in fact, we can't wait to take some out-of-town guests! read more

We are Williamsburg celebrating our anniversary and wanted something simple after a day of driving. Seen Craft 31, with a motto about taking pride in there Burgers and Pizza. Had the boozie shakes which were good, and ordered two burgers and the plan was to get a pizza to go. The shakes were good, but it stopped there. Both me and my wife ordered medium burgers, lets just say they by-passed the medium by a long shot. We were hungry and each got through 1/2 our burgers. We believe a manager (he had a black shirt) stop by and asked how everything was. I told him we asked for the burgers medium and showed him both of ours were clearly not, in fact they were dry. To be fair I also told him we did not want another burger. I would have hoped he may have did something for us without asking but he just said 'thanks for letting me know', our bill came and nothing changed on it. Needless to say, we did not take a pizza with us to go. The moral of the story is if you pride yourself on your burgers, you should be able to cook a burger medium, and just hoping they would have offered something in return. read more

Good food but we spent almost two hours there due to some of the worst service I've ever received.

Great staff, wonderful selection of entrees, bottoms up pizza is the best in town!! Updated menu adds some great options. Was with a party of 16, service was impeccable, very attentive and personable waiter. Will be back, too many selections I want to try!! Thank you Shaun for being so accommodating given the weather!! read more

I took my mom out to lunch for Mother's Day and we had the best meal Ever!!! This is the best burger and Reuben spot in Williamsburg for sure!!! read more

We had a horrible experience here recently. The manager had zero customer service skills first and foremost. We were celebrating a special birthday and they ruined our ice cream cake. Instead of offering the birthday girl a free dessert or trying to make the situation better---he stood with an attitude and argued with me & acted immature. The server was young, inexperienced and inattentive. We had little kids and waited a long time for pizzas and sandwiches that were mediocre. read more

Bad service and inconsistent food. We were stuck at the entrance for awhile with no one greeting us. Fine. We've both been servers and it happens. But, at a craft beer place, it is really incomprehensible to have a waitress who didn't know anything about the beers and had never apparently heard the word hefeweizen. She then failed to put my pizza order in. When all the other food came for the kids and my husband, she simply said "oh sorry I forgot to put your pizza in. I'll do it now." I got it after my kids and husband were done eating. The crab dip appetizer had no crab in it, but it was a delicious artichoke and spinach dip. My raw oysters contained a lot of broken shell and one had no oyster. Even the lemon that was served with it looked to have been well past the best-by date. Pizza was ok. Mine was great (when I finally got it) and my husband's was ok. read more

I was really disappointed with the food. The seafood grits were watery and the catfish was mushy. Told the waitress and she "told the manager" but they didn't do anything else. For the price, the service and the food should have been a LOT better. read more

Pros: Excellent food! Crab cake burger was perfectly cooked...Hawaiian pizza was a nice white sauce and also cooked perfectly. Crab/spinach/artichoke dip was a nice spin on a classic appetizer and was hot and fresh. Service was top notch: servers worked as a team. Manager was visible and stopped at every table. Cons: it got very very noisy and our table, although quaint, was right next to the kitchen door so many of the bus staff hung out there. However if you are looking for good food, this is the place. read more

Best part about this place is definitely the beer selection. Food is pretty good too, just not as noteworthy as all of the beers on tap. Service is about average, although the last time we went was pretty rough. We'll surely return though. read more

Poor food quality. Salads had wilted Romaine and spinach. The vinaigrette dressing was the consistency and flavor of Gerber baby food. Pizza was what you get at a mall food court. Fruit sides old and slimy. Server very friendly and apologetic, but service overall very slow. We actually forgot we ordered beers by the time they came. In general, this place just kinda doesn't care. Great beer list, though. read more

Service at the bar was atrocious. Never checked in on us. It's a shame because the food and drinks are good. Won't be coming back for a while. read more

My family and I stopped in for a late lunch before heading to Busch Gardens and we were highly satisfied! Mozzarella app was delicious as well as the entrees (burgers & shrimp). The happy hour specials were great and extremely reasonable. Everything was excellent and our server Damica was super friendly and accommodating. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the wait time on our entrees. We're from NY and are used to everything being speedy. read more

Not brilliant, slow service. Suggest go to Opus 9 for lunch.Better quality, ambiance and value (they own Craft 31)

The food is great but the service is lacking and very slow. We had empty glasses on the table for 30 min, it took a long time to get our food, the burger was over cooked, and at least 4 tables had empty ketchup bottles. Sadly this restaurant will not be one of our go to places any longer. read more

Very good for an. Upscale casual restaurant. Good beer selection, good appetizer selection. I had the Carolina burger which was well cooked and a.good value. read more

Love this restaurant! Cozy outdoor seating available and also like indoor bar area. Great beer selection. Menu has lots of delicious options. Our favorite is the brisket sandwich. Generous portion of perfectly cooked brisket. Some servers are definitely better than others, but have never had poor service. Highly recommend! read more

I refer to the Yelp app for reviews all the time but have never written one myself. I felt compelled to writing one today. Being from Louisiana my family are no strangers to good food. The food here was excellent, the beer choices were on point, and most of all the prices were way less than what I had expected for the quality of the food. "Damica" was our server and she was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and had zero issues with our orders of our party of eight. read more

We dined this morning for Thanksgiving! What a wonderful experience! The food was fantastic, and our server, Brenden, was wonderful! He took such good care of us, and he was very attentive! The drinks, oysters, burgers, special Thanksgiving menu, and desserts were all so great! We enjoyed being together as a family today for a meal, and we appreciate all of you taking time away from your families to take care of us! Thanks again to Brenden! He was awesome!!!! read more

Food and especially service is inconsistent. Wait staff could be more attentive. The chicken sandwich is the best and most consistent on the menu. When the burgers are good they are exceptional, but it's hit or miss. For brunch the Benedict is delicious with perfectly poached egg, love the Parmesan grits and the funnel cake pancakes! Hope the service steps up and we can keep this restaurant around! read more

Took a large group here (30+) and combination of food, beer, and service was great. Lone star hamburger was really good and as you would expect they had a great beer selection with nice beer flight options. Michelle took great care of us. Would definitely come back! read more

We visit this establishment every time we are in town, we were slightly disappointed last February, so this past week we gave it another try because in the past we have enjoyed this establishment. Sadly, it just isn't the same. Service was slow and the food was nothing to write home about. Disappointed. read more

After a long day of shopping my girlfriends and I decided to stop in and give it a try. We are so glad we did! Upon entering the restaurant we were greeted warmly, everyone was very nice and attentive. The place itself is beautiful and welcoming. We were seated outside and started off with wine and appetizers. The cheeseburger "tot"chos and crab dip with artichoke hearts definitely hit the spot, highly recommended. We followed the appetizers with a bottoms up loaded pizza and more wine. The pizza was delicious and you could tell it was made with quality ingredients (everything was). Our tab at the end of the night was well worth it. You get what you pay for; beautiful, welcoming atmosphere, fantastic service, and great quality food. Even though the place is relatively new, our experience was great. Craft 31 was the perfect ending to our day in Williamsburg. I will definitely be back! read more

It is a modern interior with an inviting patio. Having been a patron of both previous establishments it was a pleasant change. The beer menu is huge but it is pricey. We love Opus 9 same owner what could we loose. My granddaughter had the child's pizza it was okay however when the plate came out it must have been under the warmer for a long time. The plate was to hot for an adult much less a child. My husband had the build your own burger it was well done too well done. I ordered the crab cakes they were spicy and a little mushy perhaps under cooked, the potatoes were great and the slaw was okay. The portions were adequate but we felt it was pricey for the quality. The service was okay once the food was served we did not see her again until it was time to pay the bill. Being newly opened they need sometime to work out the kinks. I don't think we would go back. read more

Delicious fresh shellfish. Friendly staff. Amazing beer selection. My new go to, especially for sports.

Perfect for a simple but excellent meal. We were party of 5 - four had burgers . Their mix of brisket , short rib and sirloin makes for the best burger ever. I had a 'super salad' ( kale , goat cheese etc ) which was delicious. Pleasant waitress and nice atmosphere . Loved it and would certainly return. read more

Very expensive and watch the bar bartenders. $156 for a pizza a burger and a couple of drinks each

Our first visit to Williamsburg area, found this place on this app. It was fairly close to the resort where we were staying. Casual and family friendly atmosphere, very friendly staff. Good raw bar, oysters were excellent. Known for their hamburgers and pizza. My oldest son had a pizza, very generous toppings. Overall good value for a family looking for something for everyone. read more

Been here twice. First time was great. Burgers are best in town. Good draft list. Great building. This second time, the service was absolutely awful. On a Wednesday night In a not busy dining room, we waited an hour for burgers and fries. That would have been fine (we had some drinks and good conversation) except that a family who came in the same exact time as us (who had a young daughter) waited an hour and a half for their food and still never got it. They had to walk out without food. The wait staff never noticed or cared. Never updated family. The family called over the wait staff multiple times before leaving, without any help or care. This was a place I was very excited about, but unless their service gets much better will not be a place I will want to come to again. read more

Great place with healthy options! Went here for my husband's birthday and he had the burger and loved it!!!
