Delicious, juicy burger on brioche bun. Fresh and crispy fries, grownup milkshake made with a potent stout and vanilla bean ice cream. Satisfying and well priced for the quality. I've returned more than once and food is consistently flavorful, hot, and delicious. read more

So the good first. Great beer selection. And now the rest. Service was absolutely horrible. First, asking if we're ready to order within a minute of seating is not good. Second, drink took forever and was watered down. Server forgot about it at the bar. Not good. Third, server didn't come by the table for 20 minutes to take our order - guess we shoulda ordered when we sat down. Fourth, food didn't show up for over 45 minutes and only after asking. I understand a slow kitchen and understaffed these days - But two other tables who ordered after us got their food before us. It's burgers - not complicated. Not good. Fifth, the food was obviously left under a heat lamp - burnt bun tops. Last, the manager was apologetic, tried to cover for the server and comped the meal. At least they had a good beer selection...only go here for that. Service is horrid. And food just okay. read more

Delicious food and beer! Manager and servers were great even on a busy weekend holiday.

I have eaten at Craft 31 multiple times...I really come for the beer list and the burgers, since many of the other items I order are very spotty. In this visit, we came for brunch. My husband and I both ordered benedicts, I the Rockerfeller, and my husband the tenderloin. Both showed up without hollandaise sauce. And neither the waiter nor the manager noticed? We finally got the sauce, which was certainly little improvement on the dish anyway. The oysters on dish were disgusting. I had to pick them off. They probably came from a can. In addition, my son received sliders, not a burger as listed on the kids menu. A small distinction, but attention to detail matters. On the plus side, the bloody mary bar was the best I've ever seen. read more

This place is great, except they advertise takeout and at least 5 days a week they don't do dinner takeout. Very frustrating trying to find out if takeout is available or not. read more

My husband and I came here for an early dinner and touring Jamestown sites all day. There were tables for two available inside or out with no wait at 4:30pm. We both ordered from their large craft beer selection. We skipped lunch, so we each ordered a pizza and then split a Caesar salad and their mozzarella breadsticks, it was all really good, but we took half of it home in leftover boxes. I ordered the white sauce Hawaiian pizza and he ordered the red sauce barbecue chicken pizza, we both really liked what we ordered. We'd come back again if we didn't want to try out a bunch of different places on our trip. read more

I had heard great things about Craft 31. Sadly it was of the worst restaurants that we have been to in a long time. First, they forgot my younger son's appetizer order, then they neglected to put mushrooms on my pizza, and then a couple of my other son's steamed clams were bad. I mean really disgusting. I asked for the manager, which I never do. And he barely even apologized for the errors. But the worst part of our experience was when the manager didn't acknowledge the missing appetizer or my incorrect order ....but he did compensate for my sons clams. He took exactly $2 off our bill. Gee...thanks. Will not ever go back to this restaurant. read more

This place was recommended by our uber driver. We got there about 2 hours before close but it seemed like the servers had already checked out for the night. The beer was great and we all had flights. That was probably the best part of the meal. We got the totchos and I wish we wouldn't have. Pizza looked good. Burgers were meh. I'm hoping it was just a bad night. Would try here again just eat something different next time. read more

This has been a regular place to go for reliably good pizza, raw bar, and tasty desserts in a comfortable and convenient location. It has a nice covered patio area that's particularly pleasant on a spring or fall evening. While table service is average or better, unfortunately sitting at the bar is worse than self-serve. Be prepared to get your own everything, bus your own dishes and don't expect a thank you. But don't forget that tip. read more

Very busy on a Saturday night but we had a reservation so we were seated right away. Food took about 40 minutes after ordering - understandable during COVID - but unfortunately the fries, tots and burger came out cold. We had a few mistakes with our order (missing condiments on both sandwiches and missing tomato and onion that was requested) we didn't send back or notify the waitress because we didn't want to have to wait any longer. The food however was delicious! Burger was perfectly crisped on the outside but juicy and cooked perfectly inside. Sweet potato fries were delicious and build your own burger (sub chicken sandwich) was a pretty thin piece of chicken but perfect size for me. Food is pretty overpriced for the atmosphere of the restaurant but overall we were happy with the flavor and it made up for the wait read more

The food is very average.....we got the crab, spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer. It did not have any flavor and hardly any crab. Seemed watered down...service at the bar was slow. Glad we did not order our main meal there. read more

Been here for both dinner and brunch. Pretty good all the way around. The menu has some good and tasty options, there is some interesting variety on their beer menu. The space is nice and the staff are helpful. Good spot to go with kids and the music during brunch is a nice touch. read more

Great pizza! Must try the tot-cho's. Bar tenders were friendly and helpful.

The place looks great, the chairs outside are a bit skinny, but it felt nice and welcoming. The beer menu is great, well curated and only a bit pricier than alternatives in the area. Service was good, but the bar was very slow. Took forever to get beers or cocktails. The cocktails were very well done as well. Food was fine. If it had been 30% less expensive I'd been super happy, but at the price charged I felt a bit disappointed. Burger was well crafted, toppings worked really well together, but the patty was somehow less than amazing. Got one of their shaketails. Great idea, enjoyed it, was meant to come with a bacon straw, didn't. Mentioned it to the waitress, she says that's the only reason to get that one, but no discount or other consideration. Not terrible, but again, at the price charged I've got higher expectations. You can't just be adequate and well above the local median price. So, overall, an adequate experience for an above average price. Great cocktails, great beer menu, slow bar. Hope you do better than us. read more

We are from out of state, and my husband, toddler and I wanted to find a nice, family-friendly place to eat that wasn't a chain restaurant. We stumbled upon Craft 31, and I am glad we did. My husband loves craft beer and had a wonderful time sampling some of what they had to offer. We had great service with David as our waiter, and he was very patient with us and our son. The food was delightful -- we had their thin crust pizza and I had a bowl of yummy chili. I definitely would come back here if we are ever in the area again! read more

Moved to Williamsburg in August with my wife and so far this is our favorite restaurant in the area. Really good seafood (crab dip!) and burgers. Love the chicken sandwiche as well but have a wide variety of good food. Beer list is very good. Outside ambiance in the garage is really cool. read more

My family and I went for a late lunch after exploring Williamsburg for the day. We were trying to decide between a few places but this looked like the vibe we were after. The place was amazing. First the star was Josh our server. He was engaging, friendly and knew the menu and beers inside out. The food was excellent. We had a few burgers, pizza and kids menu along with beers. The beer selection was excellent. I would dine here again in a heartbeat and ask for Josh. read more

This was a last minute discovery on yelp when we were looking for something besides a chain restaurant on our vacation and we are so happy we stopped in! As soon as you walked in, the atmosphere is so inviting. There is a large selection of craft beer, which as someone from MA who sees a large variety, it was nice to see some new beers I've never seen before. The menu had a large variety of food as well which makes sure there is something for everyone. When it came time for the food, we were just as happy with our meals. The tot-chos were the best we've had anywhere and we completely cleaned our plates after dinner! It was a great experience all around and I wish we had a place like this back home! read more

Five stars for the cleanliness and atmosphere, but food took way too long. 40+ minutes for a pizza is TERRIBLE!!! Manager was rude and dismissive when we complained about the wait on our food. Restaurant wasn't busy. None of our team will return to this restaurant, unfortunately. read more

I have never had a bad burger here. Wake and bake burger is worth its $12 and more. Staff is always nice and attentive. Beer selection is also a plus. Love coming here, its always a pleasure. read more

My family and I decided to go to this establishment because of the Yelp reviews and was truly disappointed overall. When we initially went in, it was around Noon; not too busy at all. We were pleasantly greeted from a male and female hosting staff, present was the manager who did not exhibit a welcoming bone in his body. We requested 2 booster seats for my children and the hosting staff was not able to locate the other booster but we still had high hopes... then we get to the table and it was dirty. My son dropped a crayon on the floor and I reached down to retrieve it and disgustingly recognized that the carpet located under our table had not been cleaned, it looks as if for months. We were greeted by our waitress about 12-15 mins after arrival while waiting we noticed a SILVERFISH sitting on our dining table. Of course I was startled because it was sitting right in front of my 5 year old son. My fiancé quickly removed it after I alarmed him of its presence. Then I truly realized that this was not going to be a good experience. The waitress was pleasant, but i informed her of the silver fish sitting on our table and it did not seem to concern her of our disgust and concerns. After recognizing that her youth blinded her shear relativity to pleasing the customer, i quickly placed an order for both of my children and an appetizer which came out 25 minutes later. The second visit from the waitress was to get our drinks and when my fiancée asked about some of the beers she tried to answer his questions but revealed that she may not be know everything due to only being 18 years of age. She brought our drinks 10 minuted later but i quickly realized that the Margarita i ordered was less than 2 ounces! I inquired about it and was initially given the response that was the standard cocktail size. I did not mask my disappointment considering the price of the drink is $9 to only be served mostly ice was a rip off if you truly ask me. After about 6 mins she returned stating that the bartender made a mistake on the size of the glass and the manager concurred the size of the drink was incorrect and instead of correcting the mistake, they were going to send me another drink in the same glass size as the first mistake. Not sure how long they conjured up that solution but it was a dumb one! The appetizer arrived 40 minutes after our initial seating. It was chips, dry rubbed wings, and the kids' order. The salsa tasted like it was directly from the grocery store and wings were edible but a bit tough. Our food finally arrived 50 minutes later after being there for about an hour. My burger was good but it was bland. My fiancée's burger was alright. The manager greeted and talked to another couple earlier but only gave me an apology in passing for the drinks mistake. Not impressed at all, but there was another family seated next to us, within 20 minutes, they had their drinks, order and food.... Needlesstosay, we will never return or recommend this place again! read more

I had a hamburger and my wife had a personal pizza at the bar. The pizza was burnt and my hamburger was undercooked. Both went back. It took a long inconvenient time but eventually, the pizza was redone right. A long time later, my hamburger was redone right. The bartender didn't seem to care, nor did she do or say anything on our behalf. A manager came by and indicated that she would take care of it. She did not. We got a bill for the entire order with no compensation for our bad experience. The manager never even returned to see if we were satisfied with the 2nd attempts at our meals. We will not return to this place, nor could we recommend it. They did have a good selection of beer and spirits, but so do a lot of other places that actually care about customer service. --Unsatisfied and disappointed customers. read more

The crab dip is always very good. Our server was nice initially, but wasn't toward the end. Maybe she was busy so didn't think too much about it. I left my Togo container and went back to get it, but it was already thrown out. Completely my fault, but the female hostess wasn't very nice. read more

My stars go for the wings. But their burgers were DRY as sawdust and the chicken sandwich was ok. A little too salty and the crust was a little to hard and CRUNCHY. If I came back for anything, itd be for those tasty wings. read more

Very happy we took a trip away from the tourist hub to try Craft 31! My husband and I like to try breweries and restaurants that carry a wide variety of local micro-brews. Typically, these spots also have fun and funky meals which we enjoy as do our teenage son and daughter My husband ordered a flight which included 4 choices for the price of one beer and I ordered the Raspberry Porter. We both enjoyed our selections. I had the crab cake sandwich. It tasted fresh and while didn't include lump crab it had great flavor. I was looking forward to the sweet potato waffle fries but was slightly disappointed because I didn't love the what tasted like a glaze sweet honey. I prefer my fries salty. My husband ordered the patty melt which was full flavored and the house made kettle chips didn't disappoint. My son had a build your own burger which he said was great. Amidst all of our rich sandwiches my daughter ordered the kale and quinoa salad. The greens were super fresh and the dressing was bright and lively and tied all the flavors together. I would definitely order this salad with a protein topper if we go back! Aside from the food I enjoyed the atmosphere and decor. Definitely give this place a try if you're in the area! read more

I don't know how this place got a four star rating. We waited 45 minutes for our meal and all we ordered was a hamburger. We were first seated at a table for two that was about the size of a coffee table. We refused and we're taken outside, where 20 minutes later, the sun was directly in our eyes. Our appetizer was a type of tater tot nachos, and was horrible. It was bland and what a rip off. Won't be back. By the way, The manager came out and said he was sorry, that the kitchen was backed up. I don't know how that could be since the restaurant wasn't even full because it was only 5 o'clock. I think they made a mistake and just didn't want to tell us. It was also peculiar that our order came out with three other tables that came. In after us. I don't know how sending back the nacho tots would have changed the extremely long wait and rude hostess. read more

Not good. We arrived and waited for 20 minutes before anyone took our order (staff just looked as us as they walked by us). Food arrived after another 15-20 minutes..it was luke warm. Never got a refill for my drink. Paid the bill only to discover when we checked our bank statement that we had been charged double the amount for the tip! Not sure how anyone can accidently make this mistake with the tip number written and the total amount written. We contacted the management and did get the overcharge reimbursed. We don't recommend this place. read more

First time there. Ordered the super salad with chicken and my mother in-law ordered a burger. Your choices are pink or not pink and we ordered pink. Didn't realize they think pink is rare. Asked manager about it and he was rude and said "you get it pink or not pink". $50 for a lunch that was disappointing and a manager that didn't really care if his customers were satisfied. Won't go back. read more

This restaurant is far from anything I would ever recommend. The service was awful! Waited an hour an a half for our food. The lights continued to flicker the entire time we were sitting for dinner. Could not get our waitress to come back to our table to get refills for our drinks so had to eat dinner without a drink because we had already drank the water that was at our table waiting for her to get to our table. By the time our refill came to our table we were finished with our meal.... needless to say we barely ate any of our meals. Bottom line this restaurant is LACKING read more

Awesome place. We had our 2 kids with us on a Saturday Night and they treated us great. Would highly recommend.

Came alone and was recommended to sit outside due to the inside bar being full. Easy...kind of worries me cuz it's hella chilly outside but I ain't no punk. Much to my surprise, it's WARM! Like Channing Tatum in Magic Mike warm...anyways....i didn't know which burger I wanted so I was recommended the People's Crunch Burger (ordered pink) and it was cooked almost to perfection faster than I could order my drink! I was very pleased because I'm quite in the rush between appointments. Rick (my bartender) was super helpful and I'll definitely be back. To top it off there was some dope live music! Great recommendations, friendly service, good food and drinks, and live music!!! Highly recommend this spot. read more
