The minute you walk in the interior is impressive. Modern and sophisticated with a casual menu. We had burgers, pizza, and chicken tenders. Burgers were unique and tasted like their reasonable prices. Pizza was excellent. You can tell the cheese and toppings were not cheap cafeteria quality. I would say they have the best pizza in town if it weren't for the price. Blaze pizza wins due to better value. But flavor and quality is surely to be unforgettable. The chicken tenders were a flop because it reminded me of water country food. Breading was hard and over breaded like they do at a bowling alley. Maybe it was a bad day or just growing pains of a new restaurant. Overall a cool spot to hang out at and have good pizza and burgers. 9/2/2016 The place has gotten busier which means the place has a lot of potential! The service is slow! Very very slow! And for that reason my rating has dropped. Food is still great and atmosphere is great. read more

The food was good. The portions were generous. It was the service that was amazing! Our server kept checking up on us. Our drinks were refilled without asking. They were very accommodating to my son who is in a wheelchair. read more

I loved the food here, great service. Really lqrge selection of craft beers. We cam for the Oysters, stayed for Lamb burger, but my husband didnt like the mustard sauce on it! Yum Parmesan Truffle Fries were cooked perfectly. Poke needed more sauce. read more

Great food and choices, but overall the service was wonderful. Very friendly and courteous staff, that really made the dining experience very nice! read more

Craft 31 has incredible front of the house and back of the house management. I went with my family for dinner on vacation and they were more than accommodating. The manager stopped by countless times to check on us as well as our server, Jordan, who was training another server. The food was fantastic and the beer was even better. It was a great night out for everyone. read more

Made a reservation on Open Table as we were a party of 7. Perfect family menu with the grandsons and adults. Appetizers were huge, and the little ones had mac and cheese, and pizza. Adults- Jambalaya and burgers. Drinks and beers were samplers and delicious. Will be back again. read more

Amazing sweet potato fries! So far I have been here a few times and the food and servers have been great. Only had one issue with a broken glass and the bar tender just poured the cider in a new glass, not cool. I said something to the server and she immediately got me a new one. Didn't want to be difficult but it had chips missing and I didn't know if one could have fallen in. Over all though a good experience and good food. Updated my stats from 3 to 5. I really appreciate that this restaurant went above to make sure that this doesnt happen to others. Hope to go back here again soon. read more

Today was the last day I will go to Craft-31. This is the 3rd time I have gone and had a raw burger. I gave them 2 times before. I was gonna keep going until I bit into my burger and there was a fly in my burger. Most disgusting thing ever.. I have not been feeling good since, probably have food poisoning.. read more

Menu is not very good, nor is the service .We sat next to a table of middle-aged women that constantly laughed out loud and nothing was done about it. I won't be back. read more

First time to Williamsburg and used Yelp to guide us. Outstanding atmosphere, wonderful food and the best US version of British beer I have had in 20 years in the US. Our server Brittany was superb. read more

First time coming and definitely last. Food was fine, but the service was horrible. Asked for a refill on my drink and it took about 20-25 min for me to finally get my refill. Everyone else's table had their waiter wait on them quick, but we had to hunt down the bus boy and had them find out waiter to bring me my tea. Then what seemed like the manger came by and asked what we needed. Said we've been waiting for a drink for a long time and he said that the waiter was preoccupied with shucking oysters. Like really? Why are they doing that when they should be waiting tables. By the time my drink finally came, my food was cold so at that point it's just whatever. read more

Had a burger. Did not taste fresh. Whole meal for two people was just adequate. Won't be back.

We stopped for dinner on our trip to drop our daughter off to college. June 2021 as masks were being lifted we still chose to eat our on the covered area. Staff was attentive and the food was good. Musician outside was nice and all was as it should be. We might go back before we leave town. read more

The family and I went in for lunch and were seated quickly, regardless of the lunch time rush. Unfortunately, taking the kids, regardless of their kids menu, was likely not a great idea. We ordered our food and waters, but the server was extremely confused on the fact that we were not ordering beers, as they have a wide variety of 'craft' beers on the menu. At that point in time, she pretty much abandoned the table, even after we were served our food by another waitress. I ordered the turkey burger and it was an absolute salt bomb. Didn't seem to have a ton of flavor besides the salt. We also ordered the 'tot-chos' which is really just frozen tater tots with some sour cream, ground beef and black olives on them. Luckily, my son loved them. Good thing, too, because they cost about $10. This place advertises 'gourmet' burgers but I feel that that's really a stretch. They really don't have many burger choices, either, and the service is not great. I'd say, if you want a beer or some oysters, this is your spot. If you're just looking to grab a burger with the family, save yourself the time and money. read more

Had the fried scallops and my wife had "barbecue shrimp, scallops and grits." Not usually a fan of fried seafood but this was an excellent choice. We switched meals half way thru and her meal was also excellent. My wife said best grits she has eaten since New Orleans. This was an excellent choice for quick dinner and a beer. We will come back. Excellent service and clean atmosphere. read more

Outstanding pizzz, beer and margaritas! Joshua was our server and he was outstanding! We will always make this our first stop when visiting Williamsburg!!! Loved loved! read more

We've dined here almost a dozen times. The food is very good and usually the service is also. We had the worst server, with the worst manners recently. We said "thank you" and her reply was "yep"... to everything. We felt rushed to order and had less than attentive service throughout. The only time she used her "manners" and said anything pleasant was when she dropped off the bill. Not sure we will be returning anytime soon. Definitely put a bad taste in our mouths. My point is, the food can be 5 stars but if the service is only 1 star, it sours the entire experience. Please re-evaluate your waitstaff. read more

Second time eating at Craft 31 It has been a long time since we have been here and I do not know why. The place is exceptionally clean. Well organized for COVID protocols. The services was well above average and have heard servers at surrounding tables and everyone seems to be happy and pleasant I had shrimp and grits. They were great. We had wings as appetizers they were very good. My wife got dill chicken sandwich and was very pleased. Drinks were well made and tasty. Fried Oreos for dessert very good also read more

Be aware of price gouging...Ordered Aslin Golf Cart Joy Ride IPA, 16 oz pour was $12. An IPA that is no different than any other IPA. Just picked an IPA from list on menu. I assumed $6 to $7 for that type of beer. Should have been easier to call to customers attention. Seems very shady....Either Aslin is way out of line in their pricing or Craft 31 management is deceiving customers with their pricing.. read more

Love this place! Food and service are great. Lots of seating options. Awesome beer selection.

Great outdoor seating area for COVID era. Staff all wearing masks. Nice to have gluten free and vegan options. Great service, our server Alex was really nice and funny. My pizza had several extra toppings (it had extra weird vegetables like broccoli?) on it than what was on the menu and didn't come with sauce even though it said it did, but the server brought me sauce when I asked. A little overpriced I'd say, but choices in Williamsburg are limited. I'll come back! read more

The flight of beer is a good value, especially to sample before you get a pint. We thought the first and third beers had a bitterness to them. The first had a bitter aftertaste, where the third beer the bitterness was up front. The second was our favorite and the last you could taste the vanilla, caramel. Our burgers were good as well as properly prepared. Wife's had no pink, where mine was. I had the Virginia, which had 2 slices of gouda (couldn't taste it though), with a crab cake (lots of crab for the small cake), and a slaw on the bottom which left a freshness cleanse for the pallete. Wife had the Lone Star, topped with cheddar cheese, brisket (needed a bit more flavor), with crunchy onion straws (they stayed crunchy), and a good bbq sauce. Our truffle parm fries were good as well maybe needed 30 seconds of cooking. Waitress was very attentive as well. We will be going back! read more

Fantastic food. You are missing out if you don't go. Make a reservation on open table. The burgers are the best. The Guapo is my favorite. You can't go wrong here. The pizza, the wings and the jambalaya are awesome. We were here visiting and went for dinner one day and lunch the next. We'll return again. OB and sid I say the Beer list is incredible as well as the well drinks. Go get some. read more

Adorable spot with an amazing micro brew menu that is only surpassed by their food menu. Delicious food, casual vibe and an enjoyable evening. Our server Sarah was amazing, we will definitely be back! read more

We stopped here on our vacation. It was so good! The food was delicious and filling. The beer was excellent and they have a huge selection of options, many of which are local. Our waitress Jessica was fun and super kind. She readily answered any questions and even brought a small sample of a beer that kicked that I had ordered before switching it out. If you love to try beers and good food, add this to your trip to Williamsburg. read more

I just received the poorest service from the manager at Craft 31. My son picked up our order and it was incomplete. We didn't realize this until he brought the food home. I had to return to get the rest of the food. Instead of being apologetic; the manager blamed my son. My son was clear that they said he had 3 bags and left with 3 bags. The manager was emphatic that my son was in error. They didn't even call us to let us know we only had half. The icing on the cake was the sliver of brownie they gave us for the dessert we ordered. I will NOT be returning. I hope the owners of the restaurant read this review and take the time to teach his manager some customer service etiquette. read more

We were looking for a casual place knowing we would be tired and hungry after a long day in Colonial Williamsburg. Made a reservation on open table and got right in upon arrival. Cool place, good for folks of all ages including families with kiddos. I ordered the cocktail flight which typically comes with tequila. I asked them to substitute Tito's and they were happy to. The cocktails were amazing! We ordered apps first as we couldn't decide what we wanted for dinner yet. We got the bottoms up mozzarella tracks and a dozen wings (six Memphis sweet and sticky and six garlic parmesan). The appetizers were absolutely delicious but HUGE. Yes, that can be a good thing. Unfortunately for us, we were so hungry and devoured some of the apps so fast that we didn't have room for entrees. I wish we had known how big the servings were so we could have planned a bit better. Since we decided not to order entrees, we went with the fried oreos for dessert. Absolutely yummy! We had great service too and really just enjoyed our evening all around. read more

The food was delicious!!! There were 4 of us and everyone ordered something different .... Everything tasted great and the portions were large so everyone took home leftovers. The service was really good ... very attentive to make sure we didn't need anything. We all ordered dessert and the portions were large enough that we could have shared. read more

Nice place. Great food. Staff was great and it was upper scale but not stressful like some of these newer style restaurants can be. Great daily specials. No problem parking and not to loud for a dinner conversation. Actually only about two miles from Downtown Williamsburg. read more

My husband and I went in on a Saturday late afternoon. Although many tables were available, I assume due to a lack of staff, we were directed to the bar to grab a drink and wait for our table. Sadly, we were completely ignored by not one, or two, but three staff members. For roughly ten minutes they walked behind the bar not even acknowledging us at all. Having been in food service for many years in the past, absolutely unacceptable. This used to be a fairly good establishment, not sure what has happened. It will be a good long while before we visit again, provided they are still open. read more

My restaurant reviews consist of food quality/tastiness, service, and atmosphere. The only reason I didn't give this place of 5 is because I would have liked a little more modern atmosphere. The food was wonderful and the service was great. I highly recommend the crab dip! The kids milkshakes are super cute. read more

Not a good experience by any measure. A full disappointment since I had some high hopes for not only having a great selection of craft beers, but the reviews. The waiter we had was either lost in space or completely new. He was scattered all over the place and forgot so many things. I told him I was looking to try a few beers and left the beer menu with me, but after my first beer, the guy was never to be seen again. What a loss for the establishment! A person willing to drop a lot on beers then you never return? Fail. Food was beyond bland. Nothing was great, just okay. The Texas Roadhouse burger - recommended by the waiter (I should've known better) - was an epic failure. A huge 1-inch thick by 1-inch wide by 5-inches long piece brisket down the middle of Texas toast? You cannot eat this thing well and the brisket was akin to mildly tender jerky. Not what I thought.. a thin slice of brisket that covered the entire top of the meat so it merged well between the bun, yes please. My wife's blue burger was basic with scraps of blue cheese piled on her burger was somehow dry... blah. When the waiter finally returned from wherever, he asked me if I wanted another beer when we were staring at near empty plates. I told him no, check please... I had to go to the hostess and request my waiter return with the check 15 minutes later. Seriously, this place just isn't big enough to be lost. A fifty dollar meal should taste way better and be served with far more competent staff. Not a chance we return. read more

We went for dinner tonight with my wife and two girls. We were seated immediately and our waitress was right there. The beer list is very well organized and has something for everyone. If beer isn't your thing the cocktails looked good. We started with the you peel shrimp. The were seasoned perfectly and the veggies on the bottom were a good addition. My kids got pizza and cheese fries. They seemed to enjoy. My wife had the el gaupo with avocado added. I built my own burger. both cooked to a nice medium rare. For dessert we had the salted caramel blondie. It was delicious. Amy was a great server. Id recommend coming for burgers and drinks. read more

We went out for a date night while vacationing in Williamsburg. The place is very nice, industrial/farmhouse chic. Waitress was wonderful. Ordered a patty melt and had to tell her how much pink I wanted in my burger. Thought that was odd that they couldn't understand medium rare. Burger arrived well done. Couldn't even cut into it. It was a bummer because everything else was delicious, including the parmesan truffle fries. Husband had crab on his pizza. Said it was very good and unique! read more

Quaint tucked away pub. Tables, bar seating and an outdoor area that's enclosed in winter and opens up in warm weather. Came during restaurant week. Cool special for lunch. 10.18 for signature burger and side salad. California was turkey with avocado and usual accompaniments. Great juicy burger and salad was great as well. Wife had the beef burger cooked "no pink" but it was really juicy and fantastic. Will definitely come back in the warmer weather. read more

We enjoyed our experience. Our dog was allowed on the patio which was nice. The service was pretty slow. We just ordered pizzas and beer and we were there over two hours. Nice ambiance and the service was alright. We had to remind our server of a lot of things and she had to ask questions to others to figure things out. read more

Good food and drinks here! Amazing atmosphere, especially during the warmer season. Staff is also great! I have various things here and their pizza is great! But I ordered their 'jumbo' shrimp and it was a big waste of excitement and money: not jumbo, not a lot of them and not filling at all. Great date location or good for a nicer family dinner. Although this place is awesome for drinks, the food is average. But the atmosphere is where the restaurant shines. Summertime and fall are the best times to go and enjoy a relaxing dinner. They have a fire pit that keeps their open space warm during the winter, which is convenient. read more
