Read reviews on yelp and decided to give it a try. Don't let the location sway you. It's on the back side of a bar. When I first walked in wasn't impressed by atmosphere but thought I'm here let's eat. I order California Benedict it was yummy and nicely plated. Potatoes were nicely seasoned. My boyfriend ordered chicken fried steak skillet he said it was very good. Portions were big and we both took home half our breakfast. Also we got an orange juice and it was fresh squeezed and delicious. So go give it a try you won't be disappointed. read more

Sigh. I SO wanted to like this place, but I can't give it a positive review. My friend and I showed up on a Saturday morning eager to try the new restaurant in town. The seating area is small, but the decor is cute. We were seated shortly under a large interrogation light. It was hard to see each other, but we laughed it off. The waitress eventually came over and took our order. I ordered the peanut butter parfait, which comes topped with bananas, whipped cream and nuts. The waitress seemed confused, even though I pointed to the item I wanted and repeated myself several times. Not a crime, but it was obvious she hadn't studied the menu. After she took our orders, the wait began. We waited... and waited... and waited. I didn't even get a refill on my coffee until over an hour later, once the food came. The waitress set my plate down and I thought it had to be a joke. She brought me one. plain. pancake. WHAT? Who orders one plain pancake? I was in disbelief. The pancake was dense and dry -- seeing how it had no toppings. I'm not sure how a "peanut butter parfait" translated into a single plain pancake, but that's what happened. I was stunned. Wondering if she'd charge me the price of the parfait, the check finally came. $3.95. Now, I'm not sure who waits over an hour for a plain pancake that's under $4, but apparently that's my life now. As we were paying, my friend left to get the car and I was left alone to finish my payment. As she gave me the receipt I wasn't sure what to tip for a wrong meal, and $3.95, and as I paused, her eyes were glued to the receipt. Awkward. I tipped her the norm because she was staring at me, then as I was leaving, the receipt rolled up and fell onto the floor. She didn't budge. Awkward again. I was then recovering from a back injury, and was forced to pick it up on front of the line of people waiting to be seated. It took a good 30 seconds to bend over to retrieve the receipt. Even more awkward. Although it's a funny story to tell, I don't think I'll be going back. It's unfortunate, as I was looking forward to a good breakfast spot in Central Point. I do understand that they had just opened and a few hiccups are expected, but for now, I'll stay away. My advice to them: train your waitresses! read more

Stoped in for a quick breakfast on the way through Central Point. This is a small location and parking is a little Tetris like but is was easy to find. Inside is cute and cozy. It appears they have a bar but we were there at 7am so a little too early for those shenanigans. They have a wide variety of specialty pancakes with fancy toppings and names that all sounded delicious. I opted for the lemon blueberry. The pancake was beautiful with a yellow halo around the outside and fresh blueberries cooked inside. It was lightly dusted with powdered sugar so it was just perfectly sweet without any syrup. My husband had the Denver inlet and home fries. The omelet was stuffed full and the home fries were mixed with onions and peppers and both delicious according to him. Having family in the area, I would definitely make this a must stop when we are in town. The waitress that served us was new but incredibly sweet and helpful. I noticed several door dashers in and out so that is an option for locals too! read more

Found this little joint while we were in town for the morning. Ended up being a pleasant surprise. We walked in on a Sunday morning and the place was packed, that isn't difficult given the limited seating. To the very young host's credit he tried to get us and the family of four behind us seated quickly once people got up. On to the food. I ordered the Meat Lovers stack and my wife got the Red Velvet stack. A stack consists of two pancakes about 6 inches across maybe a smidge bigger, they aren't puny especially with everything on or in them. Mine had bacon, sausage and ham cooked into the pancakes. I ordered scrambled eggs on the side which ultimately ended up on the pancakes, cause that's how I roll. I ate the eggs one cake and was stuffed. Same goes for my wife and the rest velvet which she loved. Even after we were seated people kept streaming in. The three person staff worked hard to get people to a table and keep drinks filled at tables. We never had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for water and coffee and I've been in bigger places that didn't take care of their patrons. If you can be patient through a busy spell I recommend you give them a try. read more

First time here and I was skeptical. Really didn't expect much, but it was pretty good. First, the pancakes are huge. My bf has the double stack of Strawberry cheesecake pancakes with a side of hashbrowns. The pancakes were delicious. The hashbrowns were typical. There are so many different pancakes varieties and I am sure they would all be great. I had the chicken and waffles. The waffle was good. Typical waffle. It was a decent size and the flavor was good. The chicken was the unexpected standout here. I assumed it would be the normal chicken strips like chicken but it was actually a fried boneless chicken breast. The batter was excellent. It was cooked perfectly; it was juicy and flavorful. We also had a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. They were ok, pretty average. Also, the gravy wasn't very hot. We would have sent them back except we were so engrossed in eating our main dishes we never even asked. We will definitely go back. Much better food and slightly less expensive than IHOP or Blackbear. read more

And the owners are there, working, doing their best to bring a good restaurant to Central Point! I talked to the owners, and they are very dedicated to bringing in the freshest and finest ingredients for their menu items. The food is Delicious! I've tried several of their omelets - and they are 10x better than anything I've had in the valley. Sure, the dining room is small, and it might take a while to get a table, but who cares? Central Point now has a hidden Gem (sometimes hidden behind the temporary road construction, unfortunately...). Try this place out! I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised! read more

We just moved to the area and it was my daughters 7th birthday. We wanted to make her day special and go out for breakfast. This place was a great find! Their pancake menu is phenomenal! We ordered the Red Velvet and the S'mores. The pancakes are huge so next time I will only order one. When they found out it was my daughters birthday they brought out a specialty unicorn pancake and sang just for her! She felt so special! The hostess and waiter were friendly and attentive! Was in for breakfast, ordered breakfast with crispy Bacon, 2 eggs over well, country potatoes, and wheat toast. the bacon was burnt and tasted like it was cook in old grease. the eggs were over done and burnt around the edges and central was hard. Potatoes were deep fried to long very hard to eat and very dry. and toast was cook burnt on one side and the other side was fine. Maybe a new toaster would help. 2 stars isn't because the food is gross, because it isn't. It's really good. The 2 stars is because of the service. When I ordered my breakfast, I asked my waiter (I don't know his name but he called EVERYONE 'brother') if they had gluten free toast...he said no, but for only$1 more I could get a giant gluten free pancake. I asked him if it was really only $1? And he said absolutely. Well then awesome!!! And the pancake was great! Actually the food was amazing. Then he dropped off our check and he charged me $5 for the pancake substitute. Uhhhh.......huh? And of course he disappeared and I could not find him. Sat at our table for a couple minutes waiting to see him and we didn't. Grumpy kids that wanted to go, so we left. Didn't leave him a tip because, well, as a former server at a busy restaurant in southern California, you never tell a customer a price if you're not sure. Ever. And if you tell them the wrong price you get a manager to price override. That ONE pancake was not at all worth $5. Unfortunate because my husband is in Medford often for work and he's always looking for a good breakfast place to take guys from work or for us to go to when we visit. read more
