Made a pitstop at Cracker Barrel and it's a great place to grab a bite. I must not have been there in a while, so was surprised that they have a build your own breakfast! It comes with eggs, sausage and gravy, and then a choice of meat and side. The ham was salty for my liking, but everything else was good! My kids loved the peg game and there is so much to look at around the store. It's a great place to stop by during a roadtrip and stretch your legs out for a bit.

A must have for every coffee table

A wonderful throw back restaurant. A must try! The feel is a very rustic, old country atmosphere. Plenty of early American on the walls and wooden tables and chairs. There's even a huge fireplace in the dining room and rocking chairs for sale on the front porch. To enter, you're directed through an old country store with a wide variety of articles. Clothing, small toys, records and nostalgic candy and soda pop, to name a few. We scored a couple of outfits for the grand baby, both on sale, and an impressive old time ceramic coffee mug. A bit shocking to find Halloween merchandise right inside the door...on July 17th? That was until they pointed out that there will be two Christmas displays coming out before the end of this month. The food is more than adequate. Just as good as home cooked. A decent value for the price. I hustled a free Peach Cobbler off the waitress by solving the golf tee puzzle three times in a row. The manager told me that she was impressed and therefore paid for it. No freebies! I'll gladly accept a free dessert from the CBOC corporation, but not from this woman that is obviously working hard to put food on her table at home. I insisted the manager put the cobbler on my bill. He was so impressed by the gesture that HE bought it for us. 07/24

Cold pancakes and cold eggs

Both my pancakes came cold as well as my bacon and sausage and eggs. My Strawberry-Stuffed Cheesecake Pancakes came cold and without my whip cream and strawberries. There is barely any cheesecake filling inside one of my pancakes.

S'more latte

Pam was awesome and holly was awesome. No complaints with the food, super delicious and very cost friendly. Prices weren't outrageous and the atmosphere was one of a kind. Highly recommend this Cracker Barrel in particular, it really feels like the employees like their job and I even witnessed they appreciate their regulars! Very sweet. The s'more skillet was phenomenal, pairs well with the s'more latte

I can't remember the last time I was at a Cracker Barrel but I was craving it so we came for dinner this evening. It was exactly like I had remembered it. The little shop at the entrance has lots of fun things to browse through and they had a nice big fire going in the fireplace. We were seated right away and our server came quickly. He was really nice, helpful and friendly. The food was really good and everything tasted great!

Had breakfast. The coffee was hot and tasted good. Then it went downhill after the food came. The biscuits were hard and the sausage was over cooked. The hash rows casserole was salty. I like my food hot and this was lukewarm.

The thanksgiving dinner was excellent. The sales in their gift shop even better. I can't leave without shopping.

This place had very clean carpet flooring, plus restrooms were very clean as well. This place had a family feel to it, almost like home. The service was great, even had a server that had a trainee that was training at our table. This is an example of a place that cares about a good curriculum of hands on training. Very good customer service. Even had the manager come check in on us and took our to go order for us. So service an A+. Food was great, burger that I ordered came just how I like, was a plain burger. No fanciness to it, no steak knife jammed in the middle, no 6" tall mound, just a plain, good ol' fashion backyard burger. Yum! Wings were cooked great, seasoned with a hot nashville rub. Chicken tenders were plump, and hearty for something so simple off the menu. My son enjoyed them. The fish n chips came out with 2 huge filets of battered fish. My wife had to take the rest home. All in all, not a bad spot to stop and enjoy good food. Not loud at all like most bar n grills. Place almost had an 80's family feel to it. I think the carpeted floors played a part in that nostalgic feel for me. I need to bring my folks here next time they are in town. Will definitely be returning soon.

The burger was so creative with beef, ribs and onions. The fries were also unique and perfect. He loved it all. Someone put a lot thought and love in these dishes. Then we waited for 20 minutes. We didn't even get menus. Two tables were seated after us and were already ordering when we decided to give up and try another place. I don't like assuming people are prejudiced. I want to believe our server just happened to overlook the one table of brown people because they're a teenage girl going through a hard time. So that's what I choose to believe. I just hope the place shapes up, because someone else might not have taken it as well as we did. On the bright side, the staff seemed friendly (when we left, two servers near the entrance told us to have a nice day) and the dishes at the tables around us looked really good. I hope to come back and successfully try that chicken noodle soup someday
