I frequent this restaurant because it is close to my workplace. There is ample parking but it can be hard to access if you haven't been there before if you're coming from the expressway because you enter off of a smaller side street after a u-turn. The restaurant is reasonably clean and the store is well stocked. I have not experienced a wait, even if there were charter buses in the parking lot. The service is good; my regular server recently retired, but she was great and greeted me personally and knew my order specifics. The hosts and hostesses are friendly as well. The food is standard Cracker Barrel, which is pretty good in my opinion. I enjoy their pancakes with peach topping, broccoli cheddar chicken and macaroni and cheese. The pancakes are a little crispy on the edges and go wonderfully with the peach compote that is served warm on top of the pancakes. The broccoli cheddar chicken is a Wednesday special that is topped with crumbled Ritz crackers. The creamy sauce and crispy crackers make it a very pleasant dish. Overall, this is an above average example of this chain and I will return regularly. read more

This has nothing to do with the rebrand, but that sucks as well. Visited here last night. Walked in to a dining room full of the Amish. Which was actually pretty cool! Makes me miss Der Dutchman's food. The new menu includes new items and price points. I tried the steak and chicken combo. Bad move the steak was horrible. It was like it was cooked in a bad. No grill/sear. No seasoning. Tough as hell!!! The chicken was okay. Carrots not up to the usual standard. The new salad was fine. The only reason I gave it three stars was Austin. We had Austin C in Perrysburg. He insured we had a high class dining experience. Austin was able to make recommendations, checked to ensure they had the broccoli casserole. Our drinks were always topped up. We were able to joke with him and he made our group smile. He even divided our sides on the bill. Which is what we wanted to do before even asking. Our one friend tends to pay entirely for the appetizers. So we were very happy about this. This was the best experience I have ever had at any cracker barrel. Don't bother. Coffee was overly bitter. Food took a while but it wasn't terrible. Once it did come out the meat was overcooked and way too salty. Stopped in after church on Sunday. Only 2 in our group and had to wait 25 to 30 minutes before being seated which we expected. To kill time, we wandered around the gift shop - which I think may be part of their business model as the restaurant was not all that busy when we were seated. So my husband and I both ordered tips and strips ,the waiter didn't ask how we would like our steak tips cooked and not only did they come well done ( and I prefer the medium well) but my food came to me Luke warm. After complaining that my food was cold they took the already overcooked tips to the kitchen and cooked them even more burning them and sent them right back to me. This was my first time ever going to this place and I can't say that I would ever go back. read more

This Cracker Barrel used to be my favorite to come to in the area. After today's visit I'm not sure I want to return. We were seated quickly and had a pleasant server. She took our order and checked on us throughout the meal. The food was okay but not spectacular. I think what bothered me most about the visit was as people at the tables around us left no one came to clean the tables off. In fact I saw servers place other dirty dishes on the tables around us. However, I think it all boils down to staffing. People are not working. My son manages a fast food restaurant. They are constantly understaffed. People will scream at him for slow service. The service was the only good thing here. I've been to Cracker Barrel's before never been this disappointed. First off if you're going to demand that every meal get served with "the fixins". They better be good. The sausage gravy was pasty and flavorless not even adding pepper helped, the grits which needed to be served with a spoon were clearly made with water and not milk again tasteless. My mom asked for a tomato juice and was told it can't be rang up therefore she couldn't get one. Mind you she could've ordered a Bloody Mary which last I looked has tomato juice in it. Food was good and tasty, outside of the service which was extremely poor and probably the slowest ive ever recieved at a restaurant considering it was later at night the place was less than a quarter filled with several waitstaff on shift. Our server couldnt answer questions I had about the menu but also never mentioned if she was new or not she walked into kitchen to ask about my question and came back 5 minutes later with my question... My review is not based on quality of food or taste, appearance or establishment or anything else it's based soley on the poor slow underwhelming service I recieved there, there was also a couple behind us I'm assuming was same server who had waited over 45 minutes I heard them telling the manager they recieved their bill before they recieved the food which was cold. When I was growing up in Indiana, Cracker Barrel wasn't a cool place to eat so I never did. It wasn't until about 20 years later when I had to move to Ohio to come check them back out with my own family, and I gotta tell ya, it's good times these days. It's far from what the wife would consider for her Sunday brunch, growing up in L.A., but when you have a place your 7 year old can spend roaming around for the whole 20 minites wait time, and be able to play the triangular wooden peg game at the table while you wait for the food it just makes things a lot easier, not to mention the good homestyle cooking that are comforting. Wife was just telling me how she probably would never even think about coming to a place like this, but she's in fact the one who always seems to crave the Sunday homestyle fried chicken. Yes, fried chickens have dime a dozen types that are good, but C&B has its own charms. Daughter seems to love the chicken n dumplin from the kids menu, and I tell ya, when a picky eater has a go-to meal at a place, it makes Sunday brunches a lot more pleasant. Been coming for months now, and we won't be stopping any time soon. In fact, we may do the Thanksgiving catering with my brother's family soon. read more

Currently sitting in Crackkker Barrel have been sitting here since 1:30 when our table was called. Order was taking at drinks served at 1:52. The table next to us ordered at 1:55 and have received their food for their party of 7 vs our party of 3 at 2:35pm. The manager has not once came over to our table in the hour to address this issue. The time Is now 2:51 and we have been in this establishment for over an hour and just that we have received our food at 2:51 my order is wrong and we didn't even receive all of our food. I have never written a review on this app in my life but this felt absolutely worthy. If I could give 0 stars, I would! My family and I waited well over an hour for our food. The food finally came out and was room temp at best. The manager came by to talk to us and she was less than pleasant. They still continued to seat people knowing they were well understaffed. Very disappointing!! I'm a big fan of Cracker Barrel, but don't even bother stopping at this one. All the wait staff was all over the place. I come here for the grilled sirloin steak with the garlic seasoning on it. I ordered medium rare and got very rare. I had them take it back and it came back cooked more than a tire in mid-July with no garlic seasoning on it. I'm not sure what had happened to Cracker Barrel but most of them across the states serve cool or cold food. We have been to so many since this "used" to be my favorite restaurant and it isn't close in California. We have just drove from California to Tennessee and up to Michigan and back again, and stopped by several going back and forth and they seem to all have the same problem. It doesn't matter if it's breakfast, lunch or dinner the food is cool or cold and either has to be sent back or taken home and heated up. I don't understand what is going on. I have never had a single disappointment or bad meal at Cracker Barrel. Service is always kind and curious, meals are always fresh, and most importantly, they always fill me up just right. If you happen to visit upon a Sunday, I highly recommend having their renowned Home-style Chicken meal. I get it hands down, no need to look at the menu, every Sunday I happen to eat there. It comes with two sides, in which you have a wide variety of options, from potatoes to vegetables. And to start filling up prior to the main course, you get a choice of biscuits or corn bread. I believe they are refillable, and I tend to go through two baskets while waiting haha. To drink, I believe that Cracker has the best Arnold Palmers in my area, especially since the iced tea and lemonade are always made fresh. Once I'm a while I tend to go for a coke & lime, mixing lemonade with my soda. The only gripes I might argue are that you must wait a while if you go during the busy hours. Sundays are usually very full. But during the wait, there is a folksy old school general goods vibe store to look around while waiting. He the food did come, out of five meals, the only food that was good was the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. Eggs were dry and had been sitting under the lamp for some time. To start it off it was not even remotely busy but took close to 10 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge we were waiting to be seated. After being seated we waited for another 10 minutes or so to have anyone come get our drink orders and by that time we already knew what we wanted to order so we put it in. Ate here over the weekend. We went around 7 on Saturday. There were not a lot of people eating there at all and yet we waited a while before a server stopped to get us a drink order. Several servers walked past us but were too busy cleaning their tables to swing by ours. That being said, Erin noticed we were without and took care of us. She did a good job. The food is not my favorite, but the husband loves it so we went there for him. The roast I had was good texture but very bland in flavor. The kale brussel sprout side was fantastic. You basically can't go wrong with Cracker Barrel. It is the ultimate in comfort food. Just don't go when you are on a diet. Cracker Barrel has some of the best service I've experienced. Servers are attentive without being over the top or intrusive. They even offered to put the diet pepsi I had left in my cup in a to go cup for me. I never knew this was an option and was quite pleased with the option. My favorite thing to order is the chicken fried chicken. So bad for you but sooooooooo good. I always order it with the cheesy potatoes. To die for. I feel my arteries hardening just thinking back to my meal there, but it was worth it. One of the best parts? If there is a wait for a table, there is a bunch of "country" style items ranging from dishes to clothing. I bought a top here on clearance and have gotten a compliment every time I wear it. Usually one of our favorite spots after church and never had a problem. However that all came to an end Sunday. Seven of us ordered the chicken special. We waited over thirty minutes and watched two other tables served that came in after us. When I finally said something to our waitress she was able to walk in the back and they came out with our food. The food was not hot but at that point we decided just to eat and leave. The table behind us had the same issue and may I add they had the same waitress. So if you get a waitress named Tori plan on staying awhile because she is in no rush.
