Stoped by CR this evening after not being there for years. Food was as good as remembered, popcorn frog legs and the fried cod platter. All food delicious... service good! Looking over the menu, many more things we want to try ... we'll be back! Recommend CR!

Haven't been here in a while. Not as busy as I recall at lunch time. Service was very good and the food good, too be honest, I may not have been in the mood for fried food that day, not their fault. The Shrimp Po Boy was good, but not exceptional

After a long day, we arrived about 30 minutes before closing and were warmly welcomed by the staff. Even though the kitchen was about to close, they kindly explained the menu and helped us order quickly. The service was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious.

We haven't been back here in nearly 4 years, but the food and service are just as good as we remember them being. We came on a Thursday evening and was immediately seated after we walked in. Two waters were brought out to us and two menus. After a very brief wait, we put in our order for two steaks. I ordered the 12oz New York Strip and P2 had the 14oz Ribeye Steak. Both entrees came with two sides of our choosing. We opted for mixed veggies, sweet potato fries, and grilled asparagus. We also ordered fried crawfish tails as an appetizer. The crawfish tails came out about 5 min later, and the steaks about 7 min after that. Everything we ate was delicious. The appetizer was crunchy and meaty, the steaks were cooked to temperature, and our steamed vegetables were seasoned perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. For the quality and portion sizes, we thought the pricing was fair. All in all, we paid $80 for everything, including tip. CR Surf & Turf is our go-to spot for celebrating special occasions. The quiet ambiance makes it suitable for casual date nights and the ample space available is good for larger groups as well.

We decided to try this spot for crawfish after seeing posts about the start of the season! We started with the gumbo, and it was easily one of the best we've had--rich, flavorful, and packed with seafood and veggies. A must-try! Next, we had the Shrimp Diablo, which arrived hot and full of bold flavors. Another hit. For the main event, we ordered 2 lbs of crawfish at $15.99 per pound--whew! Unfortunately, the flavors just didn't hit the mark. We ordered mild, and while it came with potatoes, corn, and mushrooms, it lacked the bold Vietnamese-Cajun seasoning we were expecting. I had to ask for a side of butter to help enhance the taste. We also got a dozen char-grilled oysters, but they were just okay. The garlic tasted burnt, which overpowered the oysters and cheese. If we return, it'll definitely be for the gumbo, and we'd love to try a fried platter instead.

Been coming here for 9 years and it's consistently delicious with great service, best prices, and a casual and nice atmosphere. Honestly, I recommend the Cajun shrimp appetizer. It's creamy, meaty, and delicious! Also we get the oysters often and they are priced so well and I like that they cut the vein. I trust this place. They have good shrimp fried tacos, lobster rolls, and blackened fish tacos. It's a win! Plus my partner who isn't big on seafood can always get something he enjoys like a Philly cheesesteak, etc.

Took my mom to dinner for mother's day after an absolutely terrible day, the service, food, and atmosphere made everything feel better. We were seated right away, the server made excellent suggestions. And he was patient and kind. This was the best food I've had in a long time. The spicy boiled Crawfish is worth flying from for Washington for. The frog legs and scallops were perfectly cooked and the oysters Rockefeller was to die for. I worked in an authentic Cajun restaurant for YEARS and this place blew Broussards out of the water! It was SO GOOD I could not walk away without talking to the owner.... who was so gracious. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We chose to sit at the bar, which ended up being the best seat in the house. From there, we had a full view of the oyster station, watching tray after tray of fresh East Coast oysters being shucked in real time. There's something about seeing seafood handled that confidently -- clean cuts, no hesitation, no wasted motion -- that immediately tells you the kitchen takes its product seriously. We started with the crab + lobster stuffed mushrooms, and these were rich, savory, and beautifully balanced. The mushroom caps stayed tender, and the filling had that buttery, ocean‑forward flavor you only get when the seafood is actually fresh. The crab brought a natural sweetness, and the lobster brough the depth, and the whole bite felt indulgent without being too heavy. It's the kind of appetizer that sets the tone for the rest of the meal! For my entrée, I ordered the crab‑stuffed lobster tails ($56), and these were the undeniable highlight of the afternoon. The lobster was perfectly cooked, firm, sweet, and naturally briny. On this dish, blue the crab stuffing added a richness without overpowering the lobster itself. Every bite tasted like someone in the kitchen respects seafood and understands restraint. Nothing was drowned in butter, nothing was over‑seasoned. Overall, this was well execution. My partner ordered the ribeye, medium, and it was cooked exactly as requested, it was warm red center, clean sear, and seasoned with a steady hand. No theatrics, no overthinking, just a solid steak done correctly. And of course, I had my signature Hendrick's & tonic, crisp and refreshing with no flat tonic or sad garnish. A proper cocktail, poured by someone who knows what they're doing. Service was warm and attentive without hovering, and the space leans "Cedar Park coastal chic" (yes, I just made that a thing) bright, polished, and just upscale enough to match the pricing. Sitting at the bar added an extra layer of experience, it was a whole vibe, the oyster shucking and people watching was something to see. It felt like the right way to enjoy this place. Would I return? Absolutely -- but this is not a casual lunch spot. This is a "we're treating ourselves" (#treatyoself) lunch spot. And when the food hits like those stuffed mushrooms and lobster tails did, the splurge feels justified.

The hush puppies, fries, fried shrimp, and fried catfish are all great. I visited for the first time this year during crawfish season and had high hopes, but left severely disappointed. The crawfish are steamed in a bag, which already limits how much flavor can develop. They then add what appears to be an ice cream scoop of seasoning, with herbs, garlic, onions, and whatever else, dropped into the corner of the bag. When I got my order, it was clear no one had shaken or distributed it. The seasoning sat in one clump on top of about four crawfish while the rest were completely bland, tasting like steamed broccoli with no flavor whatsoever. At $13 a pound, this is pretty unacceptable. I do my own crawfish boils and I'll admit I have high standards, but this felt like the bare minimum effort for a seafood restaurant. When I told our server the crawfish were tasteless and that all the seasoning was piled on one side, she just shrugged and said, "Yeah, I'm sorry." I really liked this place before this visit. not sure if I'll be back for the fried food, but I won't be ordering the crawfish again.
