Stoped by CR this evening after not being there for years. Food was as good as remembered, popcorn frog legs and the fried cod platter. All food delicious... service good! Looking over the menu, many more things we want to try ... we'll be back! Recommend CR!

Haven't been here in a while. Not as busy as I recall at lunch time. Service was very good and the food good, too be honest, I may not have been in the mood for fried food that day, not their fault. The Shrimp Po Boy was good, but not exceptional

We haven't been back here in nearly 4 years, but the food and service are just as good as we remember them being. We came on a Thursday evening and was immediately seated after we walked in. Two waters were brought out to us and two menus. After a very brief wait, we put in our order for two steaks. I ordered the 12oz New York Strip and P2 had the 14oz Ribeye Steak. Both entrees came with two sides of our choosing. We opted for mixed veggies, sweet potato fries, and grilled asparagus. We also ordered fried crawfish tails as an appetizer. The crawfish tails came out about 5 min later, and the steaks about 7 min after that. Everything we ate was delicious. The appetizer was crunchy and meaty, the steaks were cooked to temperature, and our steamed vegetables were seasoned perfectly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. For the quality and portion sizes, we thought the pricing was fair. All in all, we paid $80 for everything, including tip. CR Surf & Turf is our go-to spot for celebrating special occasions. The quiet ambiance makes it suitable for casual date nights and the ample space available is good for larger groups as well.

After a long day, we arrived about 30 minutes before closing and were warmly welcomed by the staff. Even though the kitchen was about to close, they kindly explained the menu and helped us order quickly. The service was amazing, and the food was absolutely delicious.

We decided to try this spot for crawfish after seeing posts about the start of the season! We started with the gumbo, and it was easily one of the best we've had--rich, flavorful, and packed with seafood and veggies. A must-try! Next, we had the Shrimp Diablo, which arrived hot and full of bold flavors. Another hit. For the main event, we ordered 2 lbs of crawfish at $15.99 per pound--whew! Unfortunately, the flavors just didn't hit the mark. We ordered mild, and while it came with potatoes, corn, and mushrooms, it lacked the bold Vietnamese-Cajun seasoning we were expecting. I had to ask for a side of butter to help enhance the taste. We also got a dozen char-grilled oysters, but they were just okay. The garlic tasted burnt, which overpowered the oysters and cheese. If we return, it'll definitely be for the gumbo, and we'd love to try a fried platter instead.

Took my mom to dinner for mother's day after an absolutely terrible day, the service, food, and atmosphere made everything feel better. We were seated right away, the server made excellent suggestions. And he was patient and kind. This was the best food I've had in a long time. The spicy boiled Crawfish is worth flying from for Washington for. The frog legs and scallops were perfectly cooked and the oysters Rockefeller was to die for. I worked in an authentic Cajun restaurant for YEARS and this place blew Broussards out of the water! It was SO GOOD I could not walk away without talking to the owner.... who was so gracious. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

    Is their fish farm raised?

I highly doubt it, but it's good.

Do they sell shirts if so how much before tax?

Pro tip: It's not directly on Walton Way; it's on the side of the building. Wilson, one of the owners, kindly guided me to the entrance when my GPS said I had arrived, but I still couldn't see the restaurant. Please note that there is indoor and outdoor dining along with free parking. Fogonero is best known for its empanadas, arepas, and other traditional Venezuelan specialties. While all of those sounded tempting, I was craving one food specifically...plantains. I have a real weakness for sweet fried plantains, and lately they have become my ultimate "go-to" comfort food. Fogonero's plantains hit the spot. They were perfectly sweet, moist, and enjoyable to eat. The restaurant is a whole vibe. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a striking mural of the Venezuelan flag painted in vibrant colors across the wall. It's eye-catching, inviting, and instantly sets the tone for the experience. Alfred welcomed me with a warm smile and immediately recognized that I was there to pick up an order. He had everything packed and ready to go, making the process quick and seamless. His friendly, personable demeanor made a great first impression. I'm looking forward to returning and exploring more of the menu once my mouth is back in eating condition.

Husband enjoyed his plate and finished it within a few minutes. It came with 2 different types of sauces: a white cilantro flavored one and a red mild sauce that was a bit spicy for him. The pesto mushroom risotto was good, but a little salty for my liking. If you want to add protein, it's ~$6 for beef or shrimp and ~$4 for chicken. Overall, it was good! We'll most likely be back. I want to try their empanadas next time!

We came on a friday night around 6:45 pm and ordered their garlic parmesan fries, a margarita, and 3 lbs of happy style sauce crawfish mild that came with 1 potato and 1 corn. Total came out to be $65 with tip. There were no tables available, as the restaurant is quite small, so we were offered to sit at the bar. -The parmesan garlic fries came with the garlic on the side in a little container containing mostly oil and garlic crunches on the bottom. The flavor was good, but it was too oily. I wish they poured the garlic onto the fries vs having us dip it in the oil. Not sure how much these were, as the price wasn't on the menu I took snapshots of. -The margarita was on the smaller side, but my husband enjoyed it. $8 -3lbs crawfish was ehhh. It was definitely frozen so it was harder to peel and honestly, nothing special, which was disappointing. It was also kinda mushy?? which is definitely a first.. The only thing I liked was the happy style sauce. We ordered mild, but can definitely go hotter since the mild wasn't spicy at all. Portions were kinda small, tbh and so we left unsatisfied. The crawfish came out to be $41 with tax, which was kinda expensive.. esp being frozen. Thoughts: -very tiny restaurant with only 8 tables, including 1 large table for 6-7 people -you can't order 1 or 2 lbs of crawfish, the minimum is 3 lbs which I feel is a bit odd.. -kinda expensive with the 3lbs crawfish esp it being frozen cuz you can get fresh crawfish for less than what they're charging at other places Honestly, pretty disappointed with what we ordered. Guess we'll have to keep looking for other seafood boils. I saw that they had crawfish etouffee, which I am looking forward to trying next time I come. Also, come earlier if you want to get a table. **It's kinda a weird setup. Although there are tables, you actually order first at the front and then you sit. There are no table service just fyi!

The food is always incredible, but what truly sets this place apart is the people. Kylie, Nathan, Maddie, and so many others on the team consistently go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, cared for, and genuinely valued. Their kindness never feels forced -- it's just who they are. One moment that really stayed with me was when I brought my young niece, who has several allergies and can also be a bit picky with food. The chef personally came out to our table to ask thoughtful questions, understand her allergies better, and make sure she felt safe and comfortable eating there. That level of care meant so much to our family. Now that I'm pregnant, the staff continues to be just as attentive, accommodating, and thoughtful.
