This is the worst place to bring your computer, and unlike the two other reviews that give five stars for not being in India, and for virus removal and hdd installation that a 10 year old could do if you teach them how to use a screwdriver, I brought my computer here because I did not feel confident in replacing my heatsink which was coated in dust and in need of replacement. However, their free diagnostics which is really to sucker you in so you don't have to pick up your equipment to bring elsewhere, told me that the fan on my perfectly fine graphics card had gone bad and needed replacing, instead of the heatsink, and offered me a "comparable" replacement for $139. At the time of purchase many years ago, my card was $600 and my graphics ratings were 7.4 and 7.5 on my computer, yet they sold me a $45 fanless card from amazon for $139 that dropped those ratings to 4.0s. When I complained about this they said they could get a card more towards what I had, which would cost $359 but that I would be refunded for the $139 purchase and that it would go towards that. So basically they lied to me with their upfront honesty again because the price of the card I was told to purchase through them for $359 was $200 on amazon and newegg etc, so I still paid for the $139 ripoff in full. This took place over the course of two trips at this point and they told me the installation of the card went wrong when they received it, and that it blue screened my computer and they needed my Windows 7 Home installation disc to fix it. They did not even use it however, as instead, I turned the computer on to see Windows 7 Pro which you would think was out of service on their end, but means I cannot simply upgrade to Windows 10 Pro as a Windows 7 Pro product key is required. After bringing my computer home $359 gone, my computer still made the same horrible sounds proving they had completely failed to fix it and only stole my money so I brought it to geeksquad with their $70 diagnostics fee and what do you know, my heatsink was in need of replacement as well as my psu as they work hand in hand. Neither of these problems were brought up by C R Computer because replacing both items still does not amount to the expense of a new graphics card. To top things off, the card they installed featured a tweaking feature, and so I thought that everything was setup properly, yet noticed the fan never rose from 20% usage. Well, I am now typing this from a ssd, as my hdds were in a RAID 0 setup factory installed from Dell, and thanks to the work from C R Computer, ultimately failed from overheating due to this graphics card not being programmed correctly in the first place either. So no, I will not recommend them for anyone or anything, as all they seem to be capable of is calling you, and putting stickers with their company logo onto your equipment that I wish you luck in removing. They give out pens that say "Why wait two weeks for the geeks?" My computer ended up being with them for at least four weeks while geeksquad got back to me with the problems I actually had within days, and was completed within a single week. I continue to despise my computer work by C R Computer and I will never go there again in the future.
TLDR: Go to geeksquad and receive the service you deserve. Anyone can remove viruses or install a hdd. read more
