I called and asked if Eric's would be able to take out and destroy the hard drives on 4 old computers, one desk top, three lap tops and an Ipad. The technician Neal said no problem and arranged to come the next day. Neal arrived on time and worked on the computers in a neat and orderly fashion. He helped me throw them out. He was also able to fix a printer problem I had. Neal is extremely knowledgeable in his field and and willing to help solve any problem you have. I had a password locked computer and internet connection issues that possibly arose from somebody hacking my work computer. The password was never set by me so that was my biggest problem and indication somebody accessed my computer without my knowledge. Not being able to use my PC for work really hurt my business for a few days until I found Eric's computer repair service. The technician (Neil) came out immediately and got my computer unlocked and fixed for a very fair price. Today, a hot Sunday in August in Long Beach, NY (where parking is impossible on a beach day),Neil from Eric's Computer World interrupted his family day to answer my desperate call. Our router died, preventing two home-based businesses from operating. Neil stopped and purchased a new router; spent over 20 minutes until he found a parking spot, and just like that, he had the router installed and our Internet access restored. My computer decided that he doesn't want to turn itself on. I was quite nervous because I had to do some studying, and my laptop is a valuable tool. I drove down to Eric's and left my laptop there. Later during the day they gave me an update on what's wrong and how much it's gonna be. 24 hours later I went there again to pick up a functioning laptop, and they also updated all of my drivers as well! read more

My laptop was running slow, freezing up and dropping the wifi connection which i suspected was due to a virus. The repairman was very nice and respectful. However, he was not able to get my printer to work with my laptop. He said the files to print were too badly damaged after I upgraded to Windows 10. Replaced my laptop screen for a very reasonable price, considering they come to your house to pick it up and drop it off when it's finished. I found Eric's Computer world when searching to get my daughters Mac book Air fixed. I called and spoke to Neil I told him that nothing worked on the computer and when powered on it there was some type of error message. I was frustrated because I don't know more about computers and I thought my daughter ruined another one. Neil told me not to worry he can fix it. we worked out the details and it was amazing he picked it up at my house and then dropped it off when it was done. he showed up on time and was professional and polite. Don't you hate when out of no where, the computer just doesn't start! First I panic, then I look for a tech, then I pray it's not going to cost an arm and a leg. Eric was amazing. Instead of having to explain my problem to an operator, then reexplain to a tech, Eric actually answers the phone and was in my house in 15 minutes. He explained the problem, gave me a quote and since I could keep my appendages, proceeded to fix my computer. The problem had turned out worse than expected, since the breakdown had damaged more than what was first suspected. Eric was able to save my hard drive and replaced all my data in a refurbished machine that he sold me for less than half it's market value! Go Eric! He also loaded all my data and helped me replace programs. Most people write a review when unhappy, I had to give kudos on a job well done. We weren't able to connect our router.
