I have tried to be incredibly supportive of Natan. I've been to him three times and two out of the three have not been good experiences. After the first go-round, I posted a none-too flattering review. He implored me to take it down if he could try again and make things right. I agreed. He corrected the issued and I took down the review. The second time was with a Mac computer and that experience was flawless. This time, however, I asked him to install a new hard drive and mirror my old drive onto it. When I picked up the computer, I was shocked to discover that this had not been done. Instead he simply installed Windows 10 on the new drive and left it at that. That's fine with most folks, but I needed the drive mirrored for one specific reason: I have 17 years worth of emails on an eight year old mail program that hadn't been exported before the old drive crashed. By mirroring, I could access the old mail program and the emails. To add insult to injury, even his Windows 10 installation is faulty. This has resulted in constant error messages and left all of my files in a read-only state that cannot be undone. Long story short, Natan has given me three different reasons why he couldn't do what was asked of him. Each one is in conflict with logic and reality. When I called today to say that -- three weeks after initially bringing my computer to him -- I still cannot access the emails and that I'd like to work together to find a way to resolve this, he became highly agitated and defensive... and then hung up on me. One only gets defensive if they've done something wrong. Not once did I accuse him of that. Well, now his behavior makes me wonder what really happened. Further, at the exact moment I gave him my Microsoft account information, all of my passwords associated with that account were mysteriously made public in what Google warned me was a "data breach". In addition to all of the other hurdles I've had since bringing my computer to Natan, I spent the entire weekend changing hundreds of passwords. You can be sure I won't return to Natan's store, nor do I recommend his services. read more

So i had a computer that broke in 2015 around and i tried several things to fix it and kinda gave up. A little less than a year ago I decided to try and make another attempt at fixing it to no avail. But i still wanted to play PC Games and stuff so i decided to take it to a computer guy. Nathan turned out not to be a computer guy, but THE computer guy. Man is polite, helpful and a pretty cool guy. He fixed several problems with my pc and i went home elated to play games again, only for it to break in a different, but similar way again. took it back to him and he suggested buying a new GPU. I expressed concern that i already spent a pretty penny trying to fix it and that i didn't want to spend more money on a new gpu and run into another problem. My thoughts were i would just buy/build a new pc. But he was adamant and even went so far as for him to give me his old video card which wasn't a high end gaming card, but serviceable enough to use the computer relentlessly at home to see if his hunch was right. It was. I bought a new card had him install at at no extra charge (thanks again BTW) and have been gaming with minimal problems since. I had the pleasure of visiting Commack Computer Repair today. I have a brand new hp officejet printer which would not recognize the ink tanks, Being that it was brand new but unopened for 4 months Staples would not look at it or replace it so i took it here and Nathan must have spent about 2 hours with HP tech support trying to get it up and running with no luck. We finally got HP to send me another unit [refurb] but after all the time Nathan spent with me he refused to take any money for all his trouble. He told me to buy him lunch once i get my replacement. I stumbled on this computer repair site after having a lot of problems with my computer installation. Natan, the owner, was very quick to respond to my problems. In the time of little over a day, not only did he diagnose the exact problem, but he transferred all my data to another computer I had. Not only did he solve my problems in his shop, he did an on-line diagnosis to my home to fix a printer problem. i had been using a young man who was knowledgeable, but not enough to fix me up. Last month, I needed a computer repair expert who could help with data recovery. I went to Natan last month because he had a few good reviews. He's the best. Look no further, just pick up the phone and call him. Leave a message if he's not there. I brought in my main work computer because my hard drive needed to be upgraded. Natan hooked me up with Win10, a new SSD Hard Drive with a lot more memory, and even fixed a broken front panel hinge. Super reasonable price. Very Satisfied. Forget about calling the Geek Squad; call Componline instead! All of the work was done correctly for the fair price that he promised from the beginning! My hard drive failed, and I needed to recover all of the data and transfer it to the new drive. Natan of Componline did a COMPLETE and THOROUGH job. I took my PC in for a diagnostic. Natan ran a scan and determined that there was an issue with the power supply or motherboard. Since the PC was a prebuild he couldn't actually fix it, but offered many suggestions about what I could do next. He also offered advice about my next purchases.
