They could have dispatched a tech. They also could have sold us a router -- they had one. Instead, they took the time to understand the problem, to contact a competitor (and their partner) and offer a solution -- all this sales engineering at no cost. From the beginning of our network in 2009 to now, they have provided invaluable advice and confirmation. Yes, they will be more expensive (slightly). Yes, they will use brands not sold at big box stores. But, they will know them. I cannot thank them enough. Btw, I did call other stores, and although they were competent and their advice was not wrong, only MCW explained it at our level, and did not push us to change the topology of our network. I could not bring myself to go to the dreaded Apple store, but then I saw that Graphite would take my service issue and thought I would try it! I wish I had just gone here weeks ago they made it so easy. I arrived at 2:20 per my scheduled appointment and my computer was ready within 2 hours. They were able to recover the data and agreed to keep the data safe until I purchased a new device. However, they erroneously discarded the data and could not recover it. I lost all my photos and video as a result of their error. I received conflicting explanations regarding what happened. I attempted to reach a solution to compensate me for this loss, but computer concepts did not follow through. Just an awful experience that I hope no other consumer has to experience.
