We had a lovely stay here. The room was a decent size, we "splurged" and upgraded to the room with a balcony. I wish the fire had been to another side, but it was still great, and definitely worth it! The price was very reasonable. Parking was a breeze, and the location is very convenient. On the downside, the sheets could stand to be replaced, or at least bleached a lot! The pillows were too soft for me, but that's not a big deal. We loved that the bathroom had a fan and a window! Natural light!! We'd definiely stay here again.

We were staying in Estes Park for the night and this motel had a great rate for the night. Check in was a breeze and Troy was very friendly and helpful. We had a renovated room and it was perfect. The room was clean, it had a refrigerator and microwave, and a very comfy bed. Great views from the room. Motel is only a few minutes from Downtown Estes and about fifteen minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. Would definitely stay here again.

Hotels need Yelp love too, so I try to highlight on them when traveling to other cities. Scored a sweet price for a stay in this quaint lodge in Estes Park, Colorado! Coyote Mountain Lodge had me locked in on the price since our stay was during Memorial Day weekend and all the hotels/lodges in the area were a higher than normal price. We got a room for less than $100/night, which is hard to find these days! We requested a renovated room on the second floor, which we got (yea!). While our back window did face the road, the window panes must have been thick because we heard relatively no traffic noise. The renovated rooms exceeded my expectations! Super comfy bed, nice tv, and the bathroom was sparkly clean and new. My only qualms about the room: the tiny bathroom and there is no closet in the room. We stayed for two nights and most of the time was spent outside the room, so that didn't bother us. They are light on amenities - complimentary coffee/tea in the mornings, a pool/hot tub, and wifi. Who needs lots of amenities though when you have the beautiful mountains to explore! The few staff at the lodge that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The views outside the lodge are incredible (views of Rocky Mountain National Park) and sometimes elk come wandering in the back of the property. They have regular keys to the rooms here, which was kind of a fun touch since most room keys are cards nowadays. The location is convenient as it is a two minute drive from downtown Estes Park. Again, for the price, this lodge is a winner!

AC

Good if you want a simple, clean stay! The wall AC was loud and turned on and off frequently but it was fine just shut off.

Location is great for going to Rocky Mountain National Park as well as for accessing downtown Estes Park, which is within walking distance. The staff were all incredibly friendly, the light continental breakfast was a great grab and go option for early RMNP mornings and the nightly s'more's were a great way to unwind. We really loved our stay here. It reminded us of how traveling used to be. A stay here doesn't feel rushed, instead it encourages you to just stop and enjoy your time together.

The rooms have a rustic cabin ambiance and the only furniture I missed was having a desk to work on. I also wish the blackout curtains worked, and plenty of street light came through the thin curtains, but we managed to sleep despite that (I would have clipped a blanket over the window if needed). The staff were mostly friendly. The complimentary continental breakfast is mostly cold foods (bagels, cereal, boiled eggs, etc.). They did run out of peanut butter, which was sad. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the proximity to the main shopping area is great. Parking is very cramped and when fully booked you may have to use overflow parking across the street. There is no elevator so if you're on the upper floors you'll have to haul your luggage up steps.

It was a perfect setup for us our room had a lovely view of the river you could listen to all night, our daughter was in the other upstairs bedroom and our teenage son had a fold out couch all to himself downstairs. Best part was sitting by the river in the evening. Highly recommend we would definitely stay again.

I attended a family wedding here and stayed for two days. While the property itself is beautiful,…read moreit is abysmally run. There is an absolutely ridiculous number of rules surrounding weddings and events here, to the point that they became intrusive rather than reasonable. We were refused permission to put stakes in the ground for a pavilion. The venue also required a specific bartending service that, in our experience, served noticeably watered-down drinks, refused to allow shots in an apparent effort to keep guests from getting drunk, and, frankly, made awful drinks on top of it. One of the final issues came at the end of the wedding. We were already forced to end the event at 10:00 PM, and less than fifteen minutes later, while several guests were still simply trying to arrange rides back to their hotels, the property owner was already harassing and pressuring them to leave. There is a difference between maintaining reasonable rules for your property and exercising an excessive degree of control over a wedding and its guests. Unfortunately, this consistently felt like the latter. Overall, it is a genuinely lovely location, but it is overshadowed by an absolutely tyrannical property owner who desperately needs to rein in her sense of control. Rather than simply being the person who provided the venue, her behavior became an unfortunate and lasting memory for several members of our family who attended the wedding. That should never be one of the things guests remember most about someone's wedding. It's clear her goal is clearly to make as much profit with the least amount of hassle or effort possible. Highly recommend going elsewhere for your wedding.

It doesn't have any hooks for the towels or hand towels... The balconies overlooking the river are nice (but there are many, many places to stay along the creek that are updated and clean looking). The pool is a nice touch but it's old and looks like someone DIY-ed years ago. The vending machine didn't work with any of my bills when my very pregnant body needed a bottle of water. I popped in to check out the continental breakfast and walked out with only a tea. Just a bunch of cheap, sugary products (donettes, nutrigrain bars, hostess danishes). And I thought we were getting a great rate so it was worth staying at this older place but the very nice 3 star hotel yards away is the same price!! Like it's *fine*. It's certainly not worthy of 5 stars.

We didn't visit the pool/tub atrium that overlooks the breakfast area but it looks nice! Will return whenever in Estes and looking for a quick night getaway for a cheap price. Room and property are dated but the friendly staff, proximity to downtown, and price meets our expectations.

Everyone we encountered was nice and we appreciated the cander as we asked for their stories/experiences there. The bad....for what we paid, it was not worth it. The floor feels dirty. It is as though they have not thought to clean the carpets in quite some time. Under the bed is a nice layer of dust. The whole hotel could use a moist cloth and a good wipe down. The dust in the display cases throughout the hotel is obvious and off putting. We met Hannibal. Wish we would have booked the seance, but alas, we ran out of time. He was a hoot to talk to.

It's a beautiful setting, but several issues impacted my experience. First, I felt the advertising was a bit misleading. I saw a pool listed on Orbitz, but I discovered there isn't a pool anywhere on the property. Instead, there are two above-ground hot tubs. I went to the one on the second level, but I found climbing the narrow metal stairs with wet feet to be a bit dangerous. I also noticed that the rooms are slightly dated and showing their age. In my room, the curtain rod was actually falling out of the wall, which told me they need to keep up with better maintenance. You should also know there is no lobby or front desk here; I just received a code via text message and entered it to get into my room. While efficient, it felt a bit impersonal. My biggest complaint, however, was the construction noise. I didn't realize they are currently expanding the inn and building two new buildings on the same lot. Unfortunately, my room was right next to the construction site, and I had to deal with loud noise all morning. I think this place has a lot of potential once the upgrades are done, but between the maintenance issues and the noise, I didn't find it to be the relaxing getaway I was hoping for.

This place is literally nestled on a side of a mountain w other little resort around. The check in process was so cute. Katie checked us in gave us some yummy cookies and I even bought a cute 4seasons inn sticker to put on my car. The room we booked was a private suite w a private spa grill and seating area. There is seating area by the grill and by the spa. And it's also on the 2nd floor just an fyi if you're wheel chair bound or whatever limitations you may have. So we go into our room and she literally decorated the whole room for us for our anniversary and had a bottle of wine w two wine glasses and fire wood already in our room for us to start a fire. The room was VERY spacious. Has a kitchen that worked a full coffee maker. A good size fridge and the freezer worked amazing. The toiletries that come w the room smell just fantasists. The best morning I woke up to wild turkeys on the ground just gobbling away and elk and deer. There is a community grills and a spa and a few other amenities. The thing I love about this place is it's literally less than 5 mins from the National park and far enough away to be secluded but 8 mins from EVERYTHING in town. And in Estes park there is so much cramed in that town! I LOVED everything. Not a thing was bad about my whole stay.
