This is the 4th time I've enjoyed their food. Always impressed! Just discovered the ranchero beans... I'm not a big bean person but these are FABULOUS! Chicken is always good!! read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my catering order from Cowboy Chicken today. I ordered lunch for 40 people, and when it arrived, it looked like it would barely feed 20. This isn't the first time I've had this issue with them, which makes it even more frustrating. When I called to speak with the manager, he was very rude and offered no help or solution at all. On top of that, when the food was delivered, both containers of beans had spilled completely, leaving us with a huge mess to clean up before we could even serve anything. After my last experience (and the poor customer service), I told myself I wouldn't order from them again--but I decided to give them another chance. Unfortunately, it was a mistake. Very disappointed. read more

Food: is mid best i can explain it it's torches from wish‍not bad bad but not great chips were stale Service: was pretty good order at the counter so it's not much to talk about but the person was friendly! Ambience: this doesn't have much to look at. Other than a handful of table chairs and soda machine read more

Cowboy Chicken is solid Rotisserie Chicken. The service is fast and friendly. They have a small dog friendly patio with picnic tables. And the food is great. Their sides are interesting (like jalapeño coleslaw). Overall, good spit for chicken. read more

My first time at Cowboy chicken and it was son's idea. My grandson is 1 and was along with us. I'd never heard of it and was skeptical at first but gave in. One of her first things I noticed when I walked in was how clean it was inside. The rotisserie was going with some chickens cooking, which brought an incredible aroma to the restaurant. The staff was great and very helpful since I was clueless. I opted for a half chicken, okra and a hash brown type casserole. Our food was ready quickly and it looked great. Omg that chicken was amazing! Couldn't believe how juicy and flavorful it was. Very impressed with the okra too. Nicely seasoned and had a good krispy texture. I was very surprised how much I loved that hash brown casserole too. I told me wife when I got home that we had to come back so she could experience it! read more

Diner 1. Grabbed the two piece dark meat special. Sides of elote (way too spicy for me) and twice baked potatoes (yummy). Roll. Diner 2. Same special but sides of okra (I'd order this next time) and potatoes Diner 3- three piece with Mac n cheese and fries. I was thinking maybe 4, but hubs says 3. When I think of other places I've given a four, I have to go with his assessment. Diner 4. Wings and strips. Green beans. (These were the cooked but still crisp sort. Not super flavorful but fresh.) The special came with a drink, and the jalapeño lemonade was tasty. Not spicy but with jalapeño flavor. The banana pudding was meh. Service was acceptable. It was okay. Not exactly smiling and friendly, but accurate and efficient. Enjoyed the on-theme country music. Even heard a hymn on guitar. It was not overly loud which we appreciated. There is an outdoor seating area available. Not our favorite restaurant ever, but a solid choice for sort of home style cowboy cooking. We'd go back if the mood struck. A modest step above fast food at about the same price. read more

This place has the best rotisserie chicken you can get around here. We've gotten the family meal for 4 about 10 times. I LOVE the smell inside the restaurant. All the sides have been good, but especially the twice -baked potaters and the Mac and cheese. The first time we went here, right after it opened, the rolls were dry, but they've been perfect every time since. read more

I am a big fan of their chicken enchiladas, especially the sauce. I have eaten here for several years and still love it BUT, the last time there I was disappointed to say the least. I ordered my usual 2 chicken enchiladas with 2 sides of the pinto beans. When I received my order I was immediately in a quandary. I have never seen enchiladas this small in my life. At best they were half the size they used to be. No exaggeration. The price if anything had gone up. I would encourage them to change the name of chicken enchiladas to "mini" chicken enchiladas to be more accurate. read more

Great service and delicious food ! Staff was very helpful. Will definitely be back to this location!

The food was okay but the employees were having bad attitudes. A family friend ordered the bowl and wanted the sauce on its side because she was allergic. Food came to us and the sauce was smothered on the bowl. The family friend went up to the counter and asked for it to be remade and she replied back 'what was wrong with it, why do you need it on the side' afterwards, I ordered sour cream and instead of them telling me they didn't have it they just gave me four creama that they use on Mexican corn. It took them thirty minutes to just hand me a small cup. Employees were rude and acted entitled! read more

Very good chicken I loved the flavor. People were kind and nice, great environment. Prices are good too, I 100% recommend this place.

I have been here once before, and it was in store visit. Food was good as I ordered it for catering however, it was suggested to me that online would be a better experience with catering. This time I took the advice and boy was that a colossal mistake. I used their online website to order from it directed me to make an account, which I did. After making my order it directed me to a website (OLO) for delivery which I used. The time was getting close and when i called the store to get the status of my order. I was first told that there was no order, I explained I have a printout, and it directed me to OLO afterwards. I was then told that they will check with a manager, but I shouldn't have used OLO as they had no drivers and I should have used a 3rd party delivery like grub hub or Uber Eats. I would think that this should have been advertised on their website, and the website in turn should not have directed me to OLO to begin with. In short, the catering that i needed to thank a group of about 25 people didn't happen. The store manager apparently said I never placed the order as there is no ticket in for it and I used the wrong delivery app that the website directed me to. I guess I will be looking for a different place to fulfill the frequent caterings I provide for my groups to show my appreciation. (Note: This was my experience, again the food is good. Take a chance at your own risk with ordering online, use 3rd party delivery not OLO and best wishes) read more

ordered catered food and the containers were not even half full. completely ran out of food. So embarrassed

we have Loved Cowboy Chicken since they opened. I like the 3 piece dark chicken and that comes with your choice of two sides. I know other Seniors will enjoy too. Watch the sides as some are a little more spicy than i like. But Fried okra and steamed veggies are not. Happy Trails and hope to see you here. Happy Trails Chris & Sharon read more

I had to stop by. Too many times passing by and I wanted ultimate healthy eating on today. I saw everyone's pics- so I know what I wanted. I was going to order Quarter White (breast & wing) with cream spinach and twice baked potato. I walked in and the smoked rotisserie smell of the chicken had my my taste buds jumping. Then I saw the Wood Fire - and I felt this was it. The store was very clean. Oh yeah!!! My food came out very quick.. Oh yeah.. I started with the Twice Baked Potato. Great taste. I almost finished them before I started on anything else. I then took a stab at the cream spinach- It wasn't bad; however, not at all hot but more of the Lukewarm. I then headed for the Resturant signature item... The skin was perfect; however, the chicken DDDRRRRRYYYY. The wing was overly cooked dry and brittle. I still ate it though even through I had to fought off a fly a few times. I finally KOd the fly in the 3rd round between my napkin. Service was good but totally disappointed in the Signature Item. 2 Stars - For Staff, Cleanliness and Smell. read more

The brisket sandwich isn't worth the money. Its very small and doesn't have enough brisket in it. A toddler wouldn't get full with the amount of beans they give. They gave me one ring of onion and 2 small pickles. What can i do with one onion ring? Admire it? Im a grown man, not a child. It was my first time trying cowboy chicken. I hope they make up for it with something else in the menu. read more

Very tasty food! We will be back! It was very busy for a Friday night. Food was very fresh!

Food is really good. I usually get a chicken bowl salad. Don't forget the chicken cracklings as a topper

I really wanted to give lots of stars like others have. However...for being so popular this place is COLD with all fans on and the AC set on "cold front". When we asked to turn the fans off or down they said the fans were connected to the AC. Maybe that's why few people were eating in. The food came out pretty fast. Small leg portions and okra order. The Mac n cheese was cheesy. Fries were good too. The tomatillo enchiladas were the star. I'd return but the ambiance is too industrial for me. I'll try again. Really. read more

Cowboy Chicken - Brisket & Chicken for Six - Chicken Shop Near Me - Fort Worth, Texas

Cowboy chicken has caught my eye for quite some time. The storefront is at an angle which makes you want to go inside. The church fam and I went Sunday at 5: 00pm. There was just a few people dinning in. Went to the patio and took a pic. I told the employee what I was doing. He was like, let me get it cleaned up for you. I thought, it was really clean to begin with. That was so nice of him. As I entered the restaurant,to the left of me was, the wood fire chicken roasting away. I decided to get two Chicken Enchiladas with Sourcream and Tomatillos Sauce. It was roasting with flavor! So good, I would order it again! There was a suttle taste of corn tortilla filled with chicken and topped with a huge amount of creamy, spicy Sourcream Enchilada Sauce. It was like my enchilada sauce was running over the plate! I did notice that my chicken tasted try but, so what. My chicken gets dry too. Lol. The service was great, cashier was friendly and understanding. My order was brought out very quickly. If you want unique tasting enchiladas, try this place! read more

How about putting the chicken in your family chicken dinner. Got home and had all sides and no chicken!!!

The chicken was good, the service was prompt. Casual dining. Nice atmosphere. We would go back.

We used EZ Cater for past holidays and were delighted with the experience. Unfortunately our most recent experience soured us ordering anything directly from this place for take out. We ordered food for Mothers' Day to take to our daughter and enjoy with our family. While the chicken was good, the salads (both side and large) were terrible. The rolls were like rocks and not edible. We sent them a note that day and got the typical "we will get back to you" reply. With no response, we followed up. We got an apology since they couldn't find our previous message asked for additional info. We did that and did not find closure or a response. My advice, eat at the place so you can give it back if it sucked like our experience did, but we will never take the chance on ordering to go again! read more

We've ordered from Cowboy Chicken for almost 10 years and have always enjoyed it, but the main reason we go is for their Baked Mac & Cheese. We ordered today and, like always, got an extra Texas size side of the mac and cheese, but they have changed it. No longer are they serving the baked, gooey, and flavorful mac and cheese. They are serving a disgustingly over-salted and runny "white cheddar" mac and cheese. It looks and tastes like something you'd get from the freezer section at the grocery store. Nowhere have they advertised a change and the website and delivery service sites all still have the baked option. It was such a shock and disappointment to receive this mac and cheese with our order today. I called the store to inquire about the change to see if maybe it was a one-off change because they were out or something, but the lady I spoke to said it was permanent. She told me they used to make the baked mac and cheese in house but now they were using the same mac and cheese across all stores i.e. it's premade frozen garbage. Cowboy Chicken has lost several loyal customers with this change. We will never go back unless they change back to the good baked mac and cheese. read more

The food is very tasty! The Mac and cheese is delicious. Love the creamed spinach. My kids love the twice bake potato and the bread. The sweet potatoes is really good and the corn omg all of it is yumi. But this location is truly dirty and unhealthy and it makes me wonder what the hell and I eating !!!!
