I live in Troutwine Estates and I had outdoor, year-round carpeting installed on my patio by Cover-Rite in August of 2014. The job was originally left unfinished for a week due to unseasonably cool weather. (We were told by Cover-Rite that temperatures needed to be "X" degrees, X being something like 70 or 80 degrees but I can't remember, for the carpet adhesive to cure properly.) A couple of weeks later, the carpeting along the edges that was originally left unfinished began to peel off. I couldn't believe what I was seeing--double sided tape had been used to secure the carpet edges! I contacted Cover-Rite immediately and the guy on the phone sounded completely surprised by what I told him. He told me he would put a note on the job board right away to get it fixed properly "first thing tomorrow ". Days passed without anyone coming out to fix my patio so, I called back. This time, I was told that no one knew about my situation and that there was a lady who scheduled all the work and she only worked until noon. How convenient! Well, I left a message with her voicemail and I got a call back two days later. Eventually my carpet was fixed or so I thought. Again, the carpeting started to peel, again I called and spoke with the woman and again she sent someone to glue the sides. Finally, my patio was fixed... OR SO I THOUGHT! In late November, my carpet began peeling up again so, I called and left a message with the woman but here we are in December and I have yet to receive a single call back from her or anyone else at Cover-Rite nor do I think I ever will at this point. This place is horrible, shop somewhere else.
P.S. From what I have found, there are outdoor carpet adhesives that setup and cure in temperatures as cold as 20 degrees but Cover-Rite refuses to do the job properly and get the correct adhesives. read more
