so glad we listened to all the great yelp reviews and connected with kevin. my husband and i recently moved into our house where the carpet reeked of cat urine and the smell would not go away no matter how many times we had professional cleaning done. so we decided to get rid of the carpet and install new ones. kevin came by with multiple samples and explained the pros/cons of each material. we got a reasonable quote and decided to move forward. the style we ended up choosing went out of stock but the one he recommended in lieu of it was even better! our installation was scheduled for two weeks later. my only qualm was that on the day of, we were expecting it to start in the morning but they didn't arrive until between noon and 1. it seemed their last job took longer than expected. they ended up finishing a little before 4. so roughly 3 hours to uninstall/install for 600 sq ft of carpet. kevin typically stops by for a follow-up, which we had to schedule and he said all looked good. and the best part is that the cat urine smell is gone! read more

We bought some vinyl plank flooring and had an employee come to our house measure the basement an give us an estimate on labor to install the flooring. Install date came and the employees who came to do the install did an amazing job and worked with our schedule. Everything was done very well. We will be using Show Flooring again in the future. read more

This company had good prices and good communication. I bought the flooring and got it installed from same company. Kevin and Gustavo were both very punctual, polite, and did excellent work. I couldn't possibly recommend this company more! read more

I found about Show flooring online via Facebook listing. I was skeptical at first so I called them to take measurements for my project. They came on time and I was asked to visit the store to choose the materials. When I visited the store I met the same person (Adolfo) who took the measurements. Adolfo helped us to choose the materials that fit our taste and budget... even he was flexible making adjustments as we kept changing materials. I can't wait till they come and install ... read more

Show Flooring did a fantastic job installing luxury vinyl plank in our condo. They responded quickly to my on line request for a quote and brought samples to our home. We received several quotes for the job but Show Flooring gave us the best deal. They removed the old carpet and installed the new floor in 2 days. They moved all of the furniture as they worked, we didn't have to move anything! The quality and attention to detail was excellent! We will recommend Show Flooring to all of our family and friends. read more

So I ordered a sample on 1/07/2025 and haven't heard or seen a thing in the mail! I was sceptical about the place to begin with, so I'm glad I paid with Paypal! I was looking to buy 1025 square feet of Stainmaster Elkton Pine Brown vinyl flooring, but after this, I don't think so! I will be going to Paypal tomorrow to see if I can get my money back! Glad they can afford to blow business off! read more

I'm ecstatic that the salesman who my husband spoke to over phone recently, completely blew him off after promising that he'd call back to with information to help us proceed with a carpet order for a condo we're selling in a short time frame. The carpet order is only about 1000 sq feet- much smaller in comparison to the large homes we regularly develop, purchasing on average in excess of $48K on wood floors alone for each of the multiple projects that our teams work on. The salesman (who sounded like he could be related to the 'Sham Wow' infomercial TV scam artist) essentially confirmed to us, that that Show Flooring is a flooring merchant that we must AVOID at all costs!!! read more

Wow! This place just gets it. Really good carpet for our basement at a really great price , and no hassle installation . From getting a firm quote , to ordering to installation could not be more satisfied. Our timeline got delayed due to other house needs and not once did they complain , but followed up to make sure they were there when I needed it. I like the business model, it gives you access to great carpet at a good price . The installer was a real pro, knocked it out in less than 4 hours and it looks really good. read more

High quality, selection assistance, expert installation and personal commitment is what you will receive from Show Carpet USA. And, you will receive it at an unbelievable savings. The difference between this carpet company and others is that it is not some big conglomerate, It is a family run business that treats you like a relative. They care and it's obvious. They even try to save you money showing you ways you can save without neglecting quality. So how much did I save? Well, I received quotes from two vendors. Show Carpet USA's quote was half of the other vendor's quote. But, that's not why I went with them. I chose them based on the quality of carpet they showed me along with the expert advise they provided. I highly recommend Show Carpet USA. They are a rare company that takes personal pride in their work and cares about their customers. read more

We had great experiences with Show Flooring. In late 2022 , we worked with Kevin on all the options and selections given our budget. We could not be more pleased with how the new carpet transformed the space. His team are true professionals. They showed up when they said they would and knocked out the job faster than estimated without cutting any corners. Their service didn't stop there though. When we had an issue with some padding (totally unrelated to the product installed), Kevin came back, inspected the problem and had his team return for repairs. Like the first time, they showed up when promised and exceeded expectations with the work. Highly reccommend Show Flooring. read more

I am a realtor. I was recommended to the company by someone in the business. I renovated my home and needed new carpet on my stairs and bedrooms to compliment my "look". I got a quote from the big stores and to my surprise...Show flooring was 50% less. AND my look is jaw drropping. I highly recommend Show flooring. The came in....professional and I totally love the work. 5 Stars all the way!!! Thank you so much! read more

Can't say enough good things about Show flooring. We ordered kitchen cabinets from them and we're extremely happy with the quality and pricing. Michelle did a great job in designing the space she knew exactly what we needed. The delivery team was careful and thorough. We had a small issue with one of the drawers but Michelle had their team come out and corrected it immediately. Great customer service! We also purchased our subway tile and luxury vinyl flooring from them. Great quality, and pricing! The floor looks great! We installed it over existing ceramic tile. If you are redoing your home on a budget and looking for a great quality, this is the place to go! read more

Did not know of this location until we ran across it on fb. Great prices for very common styles found at menards and Home Depot for WAY less !!! (75¢ per square foot vs same style at Home Depot for 1.10) As well as great customer service from the girls upfront & Juan who helped us on the floor. Definitely recommend and coming back once we update more rooms on our home. read more

Best flooring in our area! Beat out 4 other quotes almost by half! Meanwhile, they provided service that should have costed so much more! Kevin took the best care or me from the very first call! Was out the next morning and his crew finished a 1600 Sq foot townhouse (full revamp) in 3 days!!! Unbelievable! And the workers were so professional and quick! All while having the utmost respect for my home. I'm so happy I found them and I will be sending all referrals requester directly to Kevin! He saved my home at a price I could afford! read more

Did not have a have great experience with them. Had a nice knowledgeable sales rep come out on a Thursday to a couple of houses for a quote. The sales rep was quickly able to email me a quote however, the measurements and one of the carpet choices were incorrect. I emailed them 2 times in regards to the quote and had a couple other questions and did not get a response. Finally called the store and they claimed they saw my email but still wanted to know what I was calling for hmmmmm.... representative at the store took down my questions indicated they would call me back with an answer but I never got it. Told the sales rep that I wanted to get these carpets installed within the week, so I would think they wanted the business. I gave them one more chance and called on a Saturday and was put on a hold for almost 20 mins and gave up, so i hung up. The only positives was the gentlemen at the store during the first visit was helpful and patient and the other was the promptness of the sales rep and the delivery timing of the quote. Otherwise it was not great, quote was wrong and did not get a response to my questions. I know it's a family run business and I wanted to support them but all of the signs pointed in the wrong direction, so I had to pass. read more

This place is a hidden gem, and I'm hoping that with more of their good work and great customer experience, everyone comes to find out about this place. The store is clean, well laid out, and everything is easy to find. Customer support and service is friendly and attentive! I purchased some carpet and vinly for my home and they did a great job with arranging all the details, being up front on costs (costs are low!) . They called me up and scheduled things, confirmed appointments. This is a family owned business and I love supporting local businesses. These guys deserve your support. I know I will be a repeat customer! read more

We purchased hard wood flooring and trim from Show Flooring. We also had them install it. We had comparison shopped at a few other places, (a must, especially in today's economy) before going to Show Flooring. Show Flooring was the obvious winner and "best bag for our buck", in all respects! We're so glad we chose them over the competition. The "in house" staff and installers could not have been better. They were all knowledgeable, courteous, helpful and always willing to accommodate the customer. The installation crew's workmanship of the hard wood flooring and finishing work we had done, was so professional ! A job well done, Show Flooring. I would recommend this company to anyone. read more

Show Carpet USA installed luxury vinyl planks (LVP) in our basement after we had some water damage. They came out with samples, provided a quote and got out our business right away. We received numerous quotes but decided to go with Show Carpet USA because they were able to do the work the fastest and least expensive in cost of materials. We have a fully furnished basement that is roughly 1000 sq ft. The entire install including baseboards and quarter round took one day! We are very pleased with the look of our floors. read more

Not great experience. Have a larger project. Was quoted $11,000 which was a fair quote. Wanted to see a different sample from flooring company. Kevin told me no problem. 6 weeks later nothing. Kevin came out Wednesday and I needed my upstairs carpeted on Friday. Show Carpet USA was able to accommodate my tight schedule while delivering such a quality installation and fair price. They won't try to work you like a chain like Luna or Sears with "deals" or "promotions" and "hey let me see if my manager will authorize this 50% off discount!" You can expect a quick, efficient quote with nothing but the bottom line. I love the carpet so much I'm tempted to ditch my bed and just sleep on the floor! Installation was very thorough and I couldn't find a seam if you paid me. I will happily refer you to my friends and family. read more

Wow. So I bought a bunch of tiles before they moved into this new location. I finally got my project done and had a couple boxes of tile left so I tried to return them. Since they took my name and number when I bought them and they have looked me up before so I could buy more of their flooring, they won't take it back without a receipt now. Never saw that "paper" sign in their old store. So lesson learned. They have the same tiles at Menards for the same price. Great thing about menards, you can return it without a receipt!!!!! Last time I shop there. Going to post this in FB too. UPDATE: So I went home and found the receipt. I brought it back to the store and they still wouldn't take it back. They said it was too long ago. I bought it when they where on Mannheim at the end of last year and the girl didn't even recognize the receipt. She called the GM and said that they used a different system back then. So even though I have the receipt and they have this item still in their inventory, they still won't take it back. So beware! Return your leftovers before 30 days and if they take it back, it's still a 10% restocking fee. Don't know any businesses anymore that charge a restocking fee of unopened items with a receipt. UPDATE: I got contacted by one of the owners and they wanted to make this right for me. They asked to for me to go back and they will give me store credit. So I went there and Don, one of the owners was there. He was apologetic and wanted to make things right. Even though I didn't need anything else, they gave me store credit. So I bought a trim piece. I was glad that they were able to take care of this because what was I supposed to do with 3 cases of tile when all done with everything. This was originally a 1 star review, I bumped it to a 4 and not a 5 since they did take it back and worked with me. Thank you Don and Cole. read more

Buyer Beware and Shop at your own risk. The sales clerks are irresponsible and do not pay attention to what they are doing. I went in to Show Flooring in Northlake, IL on Monday morning, October 25, 21and purchased carpet to be installed in my bedroom. As soon as I signed the credit card receipt the sales clerk "Abigail" stamped the receipt "Final Sale No Refund" (1st Red Flag -I wasn't tripping at the time though; because I wanted the carpet). Abigail scheduled my carpet installation for Wednesday, October 27, 2021 between 8 am- 12 pm. Monday afternoon, October 25, 2021 around 2 pm I received an email confirmation from Show Flooring of the scheduled carpet installation for Wednesday; October 27, 2021. When Wednesday came I called Show Flooring at 10:00 am to obtain a more precise time of arrival. The sales clerk had me on hold about 15 mins. (2nd Red Flag - I instinctively knew that this was not going to end well). When the sales clerk came back to the telephone call she apologized and advised that I was not on the schedule for today and that she could schedule me for this coming Friday. I immediately asked for my money back. The sales clerk advised that the sale was final. I asked to speak with a manager. The sales clerk advised that " there is no manager; the manager was let go last week" (3rd Red Flag.) I asked who was in charge. The sales clerk told me that "Abigail" was in charge and transferred the call to Abigail which is the exact same sales clerk that I initially dealt with when I entered the store on Monday. I asked for a refund and reminded Abigail that "they still have the carpet in their possession." I left the carpet that I purchased in the store as the installers were supposed to bring it with them on Wednesday when they came to my house. Bottom Line: I'm not sure if there is a manager at Show Flooring or not! The sales clerks are deceptive, they lie, and they schedule bogus appointments. I did not receive a refund; however, I was able to exchange the carpet for rugs. read more

Went to look at some flooring and Cesar was very helpful..they even do kitchen cabinets. Everyone is so nice pricing is fair.

This is a review of an established business. I am a repeat customer. I had extensive damage to my home from a water leak and the repair process was stressful. Kevin P and the team worked at every stage of the process including quoting, invoicing, installation, and final inspection. Most places probably won't do a final inspection. I rated them high, but even though the process went smoothly, there are always a few bumps in the road. The great review should be a testament to the business leaders ensuring they tried their best. Kevin made suggestions and the product offering is solid. I would recommend speaking with the staff and really engaging them to get the most out of the experience. read more

Michelle and the team were amazing! My husband and I were in the market for new cabinets and they made the process seamless. We've used Show Flooring three times (200 sqft, 800 sqft & 1600 sqft) over the course of a few years at two different houses. Every time we've used their actual show carpeting (they do also sell new carpet) & it has always been seemingly new (the "new smell" lasted for months) and has been installed professionally. I recommend them to everyone I know. If they have a carpet that works for your space, why pay more elsewhere?! That said, you do need to expect that they do not have a lot of staff and you may have to jump thru a few extra hoops (following up with them to actually place your order after your measuring appt, stopping back in the store to pay, etc.). It's well worth it, in my opinion. read more

I need basic carpet to be put in my dad house to sell. Had Empire come out to have two quotes. Empire was double the price and the quality of the carpet was horrible. Great prices great selection. No pressure tactics friendly show people and good installers. Bought from them twice both with great results.

They did a beautiful job on my stair runner and at a lower price than other places. I couldn't be happier!

I chose to go with this company because they were the only one who could complete the job when I needed it done. Their prices were more expensive (almost double some other quotes I received). When I decided to use this company, I tried to reach out on Thumbtack but no one responded so I called the company to schedule. The positives were that the guys showed up on time, got the carpet put down quick and easy. The thing I am most frustrated about is that they left the door of the bedroom off the hinges and told me I had to shave some off the bottom or the door wouldn't work and off they went. They said to call the company because he didn't know how much they'd charge for someone to come out and do that. I'm not a professional, but I tried and now the bottom of the door is uneven, I may have to go purchase a new door. **in response to Kevin's Response... First of all, the installation was not scheduled for the next day. You didn't have to move things around for me, the lady informed me that you, in fact, had an opening that Wednesday...so I didn't inconvenience you or your crew by having to move things around. read more

Great place with great deals. This place is basically a warehouse with racks full if new & used carpet.
