Wow am I glad that Callin, the owner, called me back. When I first called him, I didn't leave a message, and I was resigned to my fate as I only had a few days left before wood flooring and stairs needed to start getting refinished at a house I had just purchased. Thankfully Callin called me back right away, and said he could start work on my house in a few days. This was huge for me, because I had a tight deadline to meet to try and move into the new house. Imagine how happy I was to not only have Callin's team get the work done by the time I needed it to get done, but how great the work turned out to be, and the price was very reasonable. He and his team did such a good job, that I then enlisted them to take carpet out of the basement and put in Laminate flooring which also turned out great (and again, reasonable pricing). I pulled my own carpet from four rooms and as can be expected, the floors were horrible. Carpet had been down for approx 20yrs or so. There were dark spots, ashy spots, form encrusted spots and sections I should've left the carpet over. When ICC looked it over, he said he could do it and in one day. I was surprised and just happened to say I wouldn't mind if it could be done the next day, Saturday. He called back and said he could - oops, I had one day to get the furniture moved. The results were amazing. I have the best looking floors anywhere and the exact stain I wanted. I wanted to invite neighbors, family and friends over to see them but will now just enjoy their response when they do see them. My only complaint is that I wasn't made aware that you cannot stay in an environment with the smell of polyurethane. I had to go to a hotel. read more

My husband and I really enjoyed working with Colin, from IC Flooring. Colin was very professional and had an amazing team of very hard working employees. Our floors turned out so Beautiful!!! Colin came to our home twice a day to review all work being completed for the 7 days it took them to accomplish all the floors! The workers cleaned up everything on a daily basis. Colin would also give a call every day just to see how things were going. Colin would Always return calls. Colin was always on top of everything we needed done. We had our hardwood floors stained and our family room was given a new fresh look with vinyl wood flooring. Colin also brought in a painter who was a perfectionist in his painting of our home. Everything was painted before the furniture was moved back in the house. The team moved all of our furniture out of the house for us and put it back after completion. I contacted IC Custom to sand and stain 3 rooms -- about 600 square feet. I had 3 estimates done and theirs came in at the lowest price by $150. Calin and his team came out to start the project. Two guys worked for the entire day - from 9am-9pm - sanding my floors. Apparently there was a super thick varnish on my floors which required a lot of sanding (more than they had figured). These guys worked hard all day and I was super impressed with their work ethic. The next day they laid out 4 stain colors and I chose the blend I wanted. They stained and put the finishing coat on the second day. The floors look beautiful! They are super durable and I can tell the finish will last a long time. While the guys were sanding the floor, one of the guys braced himself against the wall because he forgot about a hole in the floor where a vent was -- and put a big hole in the wall. I knew that the company could make it or break it with how they handled this problem. Fortunately Calin was super apologetic and called in a drywall guy to fix this - On Memorial Day - nonetheless. He fixed and painted my wall and it turned out perfectly. Because Calin felt bad about the wall, he offered to throw in some transition strips I had requested, For free - even though I was ready to pay for them. I totally respect this company. They were very responsive in setting up first appointment and provided accurate quote on the spot. Their price was substantially lower than another quote that I received. They were also willing to refinish the floors in two different sections so I didn't have to move all the furniture out of the condo, something the other company was not willing to do. They were patient as we decided on stain color and did an excellent job. They also replaced boards where necessary from water damage from refrigerator and also removed boards to screw down base flooring where there were squeaks. I reached out to IC Custom to get an estimate on refinishing my hardwood floors. A Mr. Calvin scheduled an appointment to come out at 10 a.m. the next day. He never showed up. When I called him to find out when he was coming, he acted confused about having an appointment with me, said he would check his schedule and hung up on me! I thought he would call right back but I never heard from him again. I then reached out to the company and explained what happened. They ignored my email and never got back to me. Highly Recommended! Exceptional quality work and exceptional customer service. I don't write reviews often and am not 100% satisfied with contractors often but this is an exception. I can't say enough about Calin and his team at IC Hardwood Flooring. From the start he was very responsive in answering my request to re-finish our hardwood floors. He scheduled an appointment to come and review our floor situation and made recommendations on the finish to use as we have a dog. The work was scheduled in a very short period of time and he worked within my schedule. Their prices are very reasonable and lower than other quotes we received. The floors looked like new when they were done and we have a very old house with old floors. They sealed off the parts of the house they were working on so dust and debris did not hit the other rooms. They cleaned up to perfection when they were finished with the job. This is the first time I used them and would use them again and recommend to anyone (as a side note this is the third time we had our floors done over the years and this was by far the best and only place I would recommend). Also to be noted we had a small issue that didn't show up right away after their work was complete. As opposed to some contractors that would put a past client at the bottom of their priority, Calin responded to our issue and they came and fixed it within days at no charge (even though it was months after the work was done). The process was quick and efficient, and we were able to schedule the job at our convenience. The refinishing crew also showed up on time (9AM) and quickly went about their business.
