We had a flood and our precious rug was soaked! Called Reza and the rug was picked up (soaking wet) and taken to be cleaned and dryed out. They arrived within the hour, just amazing and much appreciated as the home was a disaster! They gave excellent service! The price was reasonable too. Thanks Reza read more

I had several antique Middle Eastern rugs that were rediscovered after the death of my family member. They are family heirlooms that meant a lot to my ancestors who immigrated to the US and were in desperate need of cleaning and repair. We also did not have a lot of information about how old they were and where they came from. Reza's rug gallery was able to tell me the age and origin of the rugs and I received them back thoroughly cleaned and beautifully repaired. The service was warm, personalized and quick. I am so happy I found Reza's Rug Gallery to care for my family's treasured rugs. read more

Excellent and knowledgeable service. They definitely upsell so prepare for that. Overall happy with the results.

I've driven by this rug shop many times over the years and always said I'd go in someday and I recently did and was very pleased to find that they do rug cleaning. I had two expensive rugs which were gifts from my mother that hadn't been cleaned in years and years cleaned by Reza's team and I couldn't be happier. They picked up the rugs, had them for about a week, and promptly dropped them back off when they were done. They even moved the big furniture I couldn't move by myself when they were picking up and dropping off, and made sure everything was just the way I like it before leaving. They were very friendly and sweet and insisted I didn't lift a finger. I also got new high quality rug pads for each rug, which Reza's cut to fit each rug exactly--and the rugs are so comfortable to walk and lay on now! It feels good to take care of items that are well-made and have the potential to even outlive me if well-cared for. Mustafa was a great help and pleasure to work with. Very glad I finally stopped by! Highly recommend! read more

Their stock is deep here, and they are very patient dealing with those who need to see hundreds of samples and are looking for a very specific vibe or color story. Reza also lets you take home rugs, to try them in situ see how they look in your space and lighting. Prices can get high, but so is their quality. They source directly from the Middoe East and have all their rugs cleaned professionally overseas. A recommended Rug Gallery! Class acts. read more

The man who came to a good job, but the lasting results were not that good. He didn't get the spots out once it dried. I could see the same dirty areas that were there before. read more

Mr. Reza is a wonderful businessman. He offers same-day pickup (within his area) and does rug cleaning on his premises. His crew delivers, re-installs the rugs, and moves the furniture to accommodate. He has rescued me several times from dog stains and does a wonderful job at a really fair price. Communication is excellent - they always call when on their way and are on time, always! He also has a huge selection of beautiful rugs. Highly recommend if you are in the Chicago area. read more

My very dirty, horribly pet stained carpet came back from cleaning vibrant! I had forgotten what 20 years of surface cleaning leaves behind. I had thought of replacing the rug but honestly a rug this size (18x14') was beyond my current budget. I keep walking into my living room and being wowed! read more

We used Reza's to clean 3 area rugs, one from the dining area, one from the living room and one from our den. They were easy to deal with, came to our condo to pick up the rugs, and were very professional when picking up the rugs, and dropping them off. They were careful with our furniture, as well as with the placement of the rugs. We would definitely use them again. read more

Most excellent rug cleaning. Thank you so much. Very nice people there as well. Best-- JoAnn read more

We trusted Reza with a very expensive, silk and wool custom rug and they did a fabulous job. They are friendly, easy to work with, reliable and our rug came back bright and clean. They picked up immediately and returned on a specific date that was convenient for us. It is wonderful to support our local stores and I highly recommend that people use this fine store. They also repaired a small old persian rug for me after spending a lot of money with a more well known rug company that did a terrible job at a much more reasonable price. They also have a terrific selection of fine rugs if you are looking to buy. read more

We just got our Asian, antique rug back from Reza's. It is now so bright, clean and fluffy! We had them come pick it up, clean and repair worn areas and can't believe we waited so long to do it! Beautiful, old world quality workmanship! We will be bringing more soon! read more

Knowledgeable friendly and very reasonable. I've had several rugs cleaned there and the three I just brought in were probably 50 yrs old and never been cleaned. They needed repairs and some trimming which was done very well. They also told me where they were from which I'd wondered about but never asked my parents. read more

We brought in a rug for treatment and another one for a piece of underlay. Reza's guys did everything in about 20 minutes, they were very efficient. Their shop is very clean and tidy, we send all our rugs to them. read more

My family inherited a rug that had been well loved. The team at Reza's came to our home, assessed the rug, took away, cleaned, restored and added original fringes. All of this within a couple week's time and communicated the entire time. Very happy with the job done. read more

We brought 5 very dirty rugs in to be cleaned. We have two large dogs in the home that have done a number on these rugs (hair, accidents, rough housing, etc.)... I mean absolutely filthy. The owner could tell that we weren't using proper pads due to the noted wear. He recommended custom cut pads for each rug to help protect them -Worth it! They are high quality and very comfortable! They even repaired an area of fraying/tearing and offered to re-dye a portion to help restore our Heriz. A week later they delivered the rugs and offered to set them up with our furniture. The rugs are pristine - not a single dog hair in sight. Then entire thing ended up being less than expected - we will definitely use Reza's for all future rug cleaning/repairs! read more

A special place. I found Rezas when I wanted a rug cleaned. Reza convinced me that the value of the rug merited some repair as well. It was expensive and took a long time. Still, Reza over-delivered and I brought him two more projects. Visiting Rezas as a customer is a unique experience. The store is packed - wall to wall - with 4 foot stacks of antique rugs. The floors are squeaky old planks, and the lighting adequate but antique feeling. Behind the desk there is an old but solid sofa and table upon which it is not uncommon to see a bowl of fresh cut fruit. Reza is truly an expert, and if you are interested, he can share some of his knowledge - maybe over a cup of tea or Turkish coffee that he makes out of a strange contraption in the corner. I took my 10-year-old daughter there one day and she was mesmerized. She described the visit as something out of Harry Potter. But back to the services, first, they will get your quality floor rugs clean. Don't bother with your Ikea and Target rugs. They can be replaced. Reza has a cleaning pool in the basement in which they submerge the rugs and hand wash them bringing back the vibrant colors. They have a relationship with someone in the US to repair and reweave damaged rugs, but the cheaper, better, and slower method is to have him send them back to Asia where they are worked on by hand in mills near where the rugs were originally created. This process can take a year, but its worth it. Currently he is repairing a rug of mine that I thought was ready for the garbage. When he saw it, he told me exactly where it was made, by which tribe, that it was an important rug, and that it dated back to the 1870s. In spite of wear-through in some places, he convinced me that it could - and should be repaired. I look forward to having it returned. In summary, this is a weird, magical place, run by a proprietor who is the absolute best in his industry. If you a reason to go there you will love the experience. read more

A family treasure is a Greek Flokati rug that was made by my grandmother in Greece in 1909 for my father. She sheared the lamb/dyed the wool/wove a rug that she gave to my father who at 9 years old left the village to come to America to save the family. He embarked on a freighter that crossed the Atlantic in 6 weeks staying on top deck covering himself with this rug. He was afraid to go below deck. Having this rug in my family is so special and it was sun-damaged . Reza's appreciated the value of this to my family and cleaned and dyed the rug and it is absolutely beautiful. The service, and considerations given to me were and are invaluable. 5 stars over and over. Reza's - Mustafa and Reza make this possible for me to share as a wall covering and pass on to my grandchildren. I am forever grateful. You can entrust your valuables with Reza's. read more

Reza and his business are a treasure. Such a friendly, kind, and wise business man. You can instantly tell that he knows all there could possibly be to know about rugs and trust that he is going to give you a very fair price. I poked my head in for what I thought would be just a minute to get a price on a nice Kilim that I saw in the window and ended up staying for quite a while chatting and learning a whole lot from him. I left with the rug and it is gorgeous and I get many compliments on it. I will definitely be back! read more

I can't say enough nice things about Reza's. I called Reza because my dogs had scratched my carpet to shreds. I knew it could not be patched and I also knew that if I cut the shreds/strings myself it would leave holes. Reza sent Mustafa over to my home straight away. He knew exactly what to do to fix it and make it look as good as new; like nothing ever happened! Excellent customer service and attention to detail. I will only go to Reza's buy a rug/carpet, cleaning or service. I love supporting local businesses and Reza's is no exception. Thank you! read more

I have an oriental rug that I think is lovely and the moths found it delicious. Once I discovered this I called Reza's and they assured me they could repair it so it was good as new. Which they did!!!! Everyone I dealt with with was delightful, always offering me a cup of tea, which if you haven't had Persian tea try it because it is amazing. They also did extras which I wasn't charged for, let me keep the rug at their location until I moved and gave me a pad for my rug when I picked it up. They picked up the rug for free and even offered to deliver it, for free. For the work they do their prices are reasonable and fair. This place is the best & if you need to buy, clean, or repair your Oriental rug take it here!!! read more

Reza is absolutely one of the best people you could go to for beautiful, quality rugs in the USA. Not only is Reza one of the nicest people, but he is thoughtful and extremely committed to making sure you find the right rug for your home. He has a great "eye" as it relates to space and color. Plus, he will teach you a lot about rugs as you go. I now feel passionate about quality rugs in my home and wish everyone would pay a visit to Reza! There is no better feeling than viewing (and finding) something wonderful in his shop! Don't forget he is able to ship anywhere! He is THE source for rugs no matter your location. Thank you Reza! read more

Reza's Rug Gallery did a wonderful cleaning and repair of my very large Persian rug. About four feet of fringe had disappeared under my desk chair wheels and about two square yards of carpet was very badly soiled in the pathway to my desk. His staff did a fabulous job of replacing the fringe, so much so that it is nearly impossible to tell where the work might have been done. With the fringe replaced and after the cleaning it looks like new. I couldn't begin to recommend him more highly. Reza himself is personable and very responsive to any request. I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. ... Sue Mathewson in downtown Chicago read more

I have a large Persian Kilim that has been moving with me around the world for the last 15 years and it was due for a cleaning. I chose Reza's because I felt confident that he would take care of my rug and be able to differentiate it from a machine made department store rug. They picked up the same day I called and brought it back one week later. My carpet looks..... so clean and wonderful! The colors are vibrant again, spots that I thought may have faded due to the sun I realized were just dirty! The cleaning far exceeded my expectations and I will send more of my carpets to them for cleaning and repairs read more

I wish there was a 6th star. Reza's is the dopest. They did amazing work on my janky, ripped rug restoring it back to its original glory. They did 2 thousand dollars worth of work for a fraction of that amount. They stitched up a million holes and cleaned it. I couldn't be happier. If you go somewhere else you're insane. I will be buying more rugs just to bring to them. read more

Excellent service!!! cleaned and repaired two needlepoint rugs. Picked up and dropped off. Excellent communication. Five stars!!!

After four years and three dogs I thought my rug was going nowhere but the trash. Found this gem and they were able to completely revive it in just over a week. At three dollars per square foot to clean it was well below the cost of replacing my Oriental rug. So happy I found these guys! Would highly recommend read more

Not only are they excellent at what they do - clean, repair, and sell quality rugs - but they are genuinely honest and kind and customer- oriented. And economically fair. If you are in Chicago with an antique rug and need it cleaned, This is a great place. I worked with Muhammed after an ugly rug oil spill. Reza's quote was 800.00 dollars less than most places they picked the rug up and dropped off the rug good as new! They were only 60.00 dollars over their original quote and went above and beyond proffesional friendly service! Call Reza's, you'll be glad you trusted them with your rugs! read more

My family was introduced to Reza over 25 years ago from a designer. During this time we've purchased many amazing rugs from him. We've also had rugs cleaned and repaired by Reza. The cleaning and repair work is incredible. Every interaction with Reza is always pleasant. I bought two nice rugs from Reza. Last week I stopped by and gave him my budget and dimensions he said he would pull up a selection and let me know when to come in to go over them. I didn't have a direction for color or patterns so he selected a wide range and I was able to chose from what he showed me. They delivered them with padding and installed them. These are REAL handmade and beautiful... the colors look even better in the house. I'm very happy, I did my research and I feel like I got a great deal. read more

It's rare that you find someone who is as genuinely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful as Reza. I came in with two yalameh runners that needed cleaning and fringe repair work. He patiently explained the cleaning process and the various options available to repair the rugs. He showed examples of his work, which were flawless performed. Only when prompted, he described visiting Iranian villages as a child with his father, learning the craft. This guy is the real deal, and he's extremely nice to boot. I highly recommend this gallery. He cares about the artistry and craftsmanship of the rugs, someone who I can entrust with these pieces of art work. He has earned a customer for life. read more
