Wow!!!!! We came here to purchase rugs for my daughter's college dorm and were treated with such care. I can't say enough good things about this place. The selection was remarkable, I fell in love with rugs all over again. I am not exaggerating when I say some of the silk rugs brought tears to my eyes. To leave my daughter in Chicago and go back to California is so hard, but leaving her in a beautiful room with inviting rugs that warmed her place brought me great comfort. Thank you Vedat for being so good to us! read more

The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, and he was more than helpful when picking a rug for my small studio. He explained the process of how they make the rugs and carefully explained how to care for my new kilim wool rug. Their rugs are high quality, with many of them being handmade in Turkey. read more

Me and my wife always wanted to purchase authentic and good quality carpets and decided to visit this store which we have known for many years. They showed us variety of different carpets and explained them all in details. We ended up buying 6 pcs (although went to get two only) and decorated our house throughout with modern looking carpets. After using carpets for almost two years they are still fresh and great looking as they were in day one. This place is a must to visit if you are a carpet person and enjoy the comfort and look of it. read more

I bought 6 amazing kilim pillow covers at cozy rugs. Not only are they some of the most beautiful ive seen but they are quite reasonable as well. The amount of covers they have is incredible and all are stunning. I went planning to buy 2 or 3. I left with six and likely will return. I did not spend much time looking at rugs but in my brief visit could tell they have stunning products. In addition to gorgeous products, reasonable pricing, they are truly lovely, genuine and polite husband and wife. I very much enjoyed chatting with vedat and he suggested a cover that completely elevated my selections. He knows his stuff. Very pleased and highest praise for products and service too. 5 well deserved stars. Update: i returned today to purchase a killim table runner. Really amazing as well. (Pic attached.) Vedat not here this time but other gentleman also very pleasant. Looked at more of their killim rugs this time. Really besutiful items. read more

VK is an impeccable salesman in every way. No pressure, just very friendly and flexible. The rugs are beautiful with a great selection and very reasonable pricing. I was able to take the rugs home and see how they look, then exchange one of them within a few days for one that was a better fit. VK really takes the time to make sure that you are getting what you need for your home. He is knowledgeable about decorating and design. I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend taking a look at Cozy if you are looking for a rug! read more

Great selection and prices, and even better service! Vedat is awesome! He greeted us and asked what we were looking for. He showed us a few options matching our criteria and a few that he thought we might like. Once we found what we wanted, it turned out he had two sizes that might have worked for us. He gave us a door mat sized rug to take home as a sample while we measured, to make sure the color scheme fit in, and then threw the mat in for free when we returned to purchase the rug. read more

For a completely random reason, I was in this area, and on my way to another rug shop, when I stopped here. Boom, done. Found a solid black wool rug (yes, I'm minimalist) for my living room that was $350, but I got it for $150. I wouldn't have set out to go here, 'cos I didn't know it was there before today. Serendipitous. And the shop guy was a total adorable Turkish guy that I chatted with for quite some time, before hauling my new rug off for the L ride home. Great service, very sweet guy. read more

My bf and I have just moved to a new apartment with a much bigger space so we're both excited to furnish it with things we both love. I knew I wanted to have a bright-coloured rug to contrast with our grey couch, in a bigger size (around 8x10) and within a very reasonable price point (around $500) since neither of us really wanted to spend too much on a rug. One weekend as we were picking up a few more things for the apartment and through Yelp, my bf's mum suggested we visit Cozy Rugs. We had just looked at rugs at another place nearby and none appealed to the manfriend. He's adamant that he wanted a soft rug. As soon as we walked in, he immediately pointed a rug style that he has seen me pin or send to him a few times. We both felt optimistic. I immediately zoned in on a cobalt blue trellis rug. My bf loved how soft the rugs were. We were there for quite some time mulling over the different styles, sizes and discussing how we would orient the rug. We didn't really come in with exact measurements of our place but knew that the 8x10 was the right choice. The person who helped us was helping another couple when we came in. He was very nice and let us know to keep looking around. After he was done with them, I thought he was super helpful and gave advice when needed. I liked that he was not pushy at all and extremely accommodating to all of us and our questions (we were shopping with my bf's parents). We ended up getting the cobalt blue one I originally liked, he gave us a discount (we paid less than $500!) and even offered to deliver the rug to our home that day. for free! I can totally attest to the rugs not shedding and highly recommend this place for anyone in the market for a rug. read more

Echoing the many Yelpers on the great customer service from Cozy Rugs. Find the right rug can be challenging and time consuming but the team at Cozy made our shopping experience easy. Stumbled into this carpet place after relocating from California and feel in love. They have a great selection with great prices. I stopped in this shop after having zero luck at other major home furnishing stores. These guys were so nice and welcoming. Obviously being rug experts they're a little more expensive than what I was intentionally looking to spend but the quality they sell and their customer service was worth every penny! We currently have two rugs in our apartment from Cozy Rugs and we couldn't be happier! We've had one rug for two years and the other for less than six months. The rugs are beautifully patterned and hold really well. Both rugs lay under tables in our apartment and I was worried they might curl up and lose their flat shape. But they did not. They look just like they did when they were originally bought. The owner was patient and kind when we were choosing the rugs. The rugs help make our home feel like a home! Thank you!! read more

I've been searching for the area rug of my dreams for quite some time. Wishing for the perfect fit, the right texture, an adequate color, and something that could stand the tests of time (and pets). And this weekend, I found it! I finally feel complete. You see, I am not a fan of those "Oriental" rugs (ps, I've debated whether or not the use of Oriental to describe floor covering is PC several times over the last week, so if someone has a definitive answer, please correct me, I'll edit). First of all: they are not cute. Second of all: they are expensive. Third of all: they don't clean well. Fourth of all: They are not cute. Anyway, as I tired of countless paisley patterns, I finally found a store that has some more contemporary designs. (They also have the "other" kind, so not to fret if that's your thing, I'm not judging, I don't have to live with you!) So I made a random stop in the other afternoon whilst avoiding going home and doing anything seemingly productive. Stopped in, browsed about... Then I looked at the price, for a 5 x 8 area rug. $125 Shut up. For real? Yes, for real. And it is NICE! And it is CUTE! And the guy was not pushy at all, and even carried it out to my car! So now, my humble little living room finally has an anchor with a plush little square of carpet. And, I am pleased in my own little domestic way. And my pets are really excited to have something new to ruin. I'm really an adult, rugs make me excited. Oh well. *street parking is easy (meters) *delivery available. *They don't accept cash, but do take credit. read more

I think someone said that "this place works hard to please".. and that is spot on. I walked in not sure what to expect. This place is covered in rugs from wall to wall of all sizes and styles. I go to town with what I have and what I'm looking for. The gentleman (I hate me for not remembering.. Paul or Pete?) said the owner (possibly) wasn't in, but I could look around and then we started talking about fit, quality, preferences. He was awesome (and wasn't really the go-to-person, so to speak). We listened to what I was envisioning, looked at the rinky drink photos on my phone, we looked at big rugs and small rugs and then finally narrowed down my choices. By then the person in charge arrived and we had explained to-date what we had done and what I was looking for. He showed me a few options, but I kept going back to the original 2. As I was debating, I asked if I could sit on a few rugs to get a real feel of what it would like in my home. He was more than happy to honor my request (talk about service!). So even after all of that, I opted those original 2 again but with hesitation. He says.. usually your first gut is right BUT if you want to take it home and give it a try and it doesn't work, bring it right back and we'll swap it for the other one. WOW! I thought that was awesome and increased the confidence I had in his products. So I opted for one of them and couldn't be happier. NOW, Bonus was there was a yelp check-in offer for a free runner with select purchases. SCORE! He even helped me find something complimentary and my place looks fantastic. I have gotten so many compliments on it. LOVE IT! Now the only thing I do wish was that it was a bit thicker, BUT I think I'll just opt for a ultra plush rug pad. For the price and service, no complaints at all. read more

I was referred to this place by a good friend of mine because I had previously asked him where he got his gray shag rug. I was really impressed by the extensive selection they had here. I think the guy who helped me was the owner. He was very friendly and helped me decide on the right size and type of rug for each room. He was really patient because I couldn't decide and actually left empty-handed. I'll admit, I shopped around other places comparing prices and quality. Ultimately, I came back and purchased all my rugs from here. Whether you're looking for an area rug, hallway runner, or a magic carpet ride, this should be your first and only stop! The great deals make it all worthwhile. read more

We just walked in here because we were looking for a rug, and we are so happy we did. Vedat is the man! This place is awesome. He was super helpful and they have so many rugs to choose from in all different sizes. Vedat told us that we could bring it back if it didn't fit our color pattern or we didn't like it for 100% refund. He even brought up the yelp discount and I didn't see it when I was looking. We found an awesome rug really quickly. They have loyalty discounts for repeat purchases and referral discounts. We are so glad we came here and can't wait to lay down our new rug! Thanks Vedat! read more

I came here after reading many glowing reviews about this place, not to mention I was in a rush to find an area rug. The owner (?) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, helping me pick out what would be best for my living room. No hard sell at all. He explained in detail how they have all their rugs imported from Turkey without any middleman, and that's why they are so much more affordable than most other rug stores. He also gave me an enormous discount from the listed price, which made me able to stick within my budget. I ended up going with a white shag rug and couldn't be happier. I've recently moved close to the neighborhood and stopped here one afternoon on accident while shopping at other stores in the neighborhood. They have a variety of rugs from styles (from modern, contemporary, oriental, etc.), colors, and sizes and since I was in the process of decorating my new home it was exciting of course but overwhelming. I had tons of questions and the gentleman working was very attentive and helpful. I wasn't sure on my first visit to make a purchase but after COMPARING other places I definitely came back. Prices were much less here and I got a pair of high quality rugs at an awesome price. I'm glad I found this place because I now have two beautiful rugs at home that I love and get TONS of compliments from! Im so happy! :) read more

This place is great. My husband dragged me here after we looked at the shocking prices rugs at Crate and Barrels and other name brand stores. These guys have great selection, great service, and awesome quality rugs. We've purchased two rugs so far, most recently a large blue and gray rug for our living room. The rug originally had fringe on it, which I wasn't a fan of so the owner offered to hand-remove it and deliver the rug (for free!) later that evening. AND if you're a returning customer, they give you 20% off. Awesome service, awesome rugs. Highly recommend this place. read more
