    Chicken Sandwich
    Eldridge M.

Overall, I thought we had a pleasant experience. We came for lunch on the weekend after visiting the Children's Museum. The atmosphere was chill. There was plenty of seating with open tables. Thankfully, we had the foresight to order the kids food first because they were hungry and food was coming out of the kitchen slower than what I expected. The ordering of drinks was a little clunky when we had one person sit down after us at our own table was offered drinks before the people who already sitting. Let's talk about the real star of the afternoon. The food was delicious. I had one of the best chicken sandwiches I have had in a long while. The side of fries was crispy and delicious. Our entire party enjoyed their food and overall, I'm happy we came here and I hope to come back soon. Outside of some quirkiness with the ordering and food timing, our actual Server was pleasant and I was quite happy with most aspects of the customer service experience.

Delicious dinner. Stopped by for a quick meal and a drink in a Sunday evening. The Happy hour menu is long and available on Sunday until 8 pm. Love the upscale family vibe that is conservative on the wallet.

My daughter and I showed up on a Monday evening around 6pm to a very busy restaurant. We did not have reservations but still were seated quickly to an enormous wooden booth, best seat in the place in my opinion, I almost felt like royalty. The vibes were good, the service was great, everyone kind and attentive without being pushy and in our face. My daughter ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and a Mistletoe Margarita. I got the Prime Rib and a Rosemary Gin Spritz. We both agreed the food looked amazing, but was just ok in flavor. My prime rib was a little over medium rare, but perfect prime rib is very hard to find in Washington it seems. Our tab came to $91.97 which is average for what we ordered. I will be back with my husband so he can experience this establishment as well and I can try something else on the menu.

Walked in at 8pm on a Sunday. It looked pretty slow, so I asked if the kitchen was still open, they said yes. Bartender said I could sit anywhere I'd like. Most of the booths along the perimeter wall were dirty and hadn't been bussed, so I must've just missed the football crowd. Found a table, and a large party of 8 came in, right after me. After taking my drink order, the server says I have 10 minutes to order because they're closing the kitchen. They close at 10pm. The server comes back with my drink, an opened bottle of ginger beer and says sorry I had to use half of your ginger beer to make another drink, I won't charge you for this one... it was flat anyway. I ordered a half a salad, no complaints. Ordered Fish & Chips, asked for it to be a little crispy; fish comes out like jerky. I get the check, and what a surprise, the ginger beer was on the bill. No use wasting energy pointing it out, because it was clear they couldn't care less. Unfortunately, this is a one and done; service was terrible, food was not great.

Enjoyed Cove. Was quiet on a Sunday afternoon but was excited to find that they had a Sunday afternoon happy hour menu. Will be back to check out Brunch sometime as well. Cute space and staff was pleasant.

Service was great and very fast. My sandwich was perfectly cooked and flavorful! Pretty sure the onions were left off, but it was still great!

This a fun, hip restaurant with good food, fun drinks and super friendly staff! We made a reservation for 9 and they had a table setup and ready for us when we arrived. We started with steamed clams and garlic fries, so yummy! We had a variety of great dishes for dinner including Cajun seafood pasta, squash pasta, steak sandwiches, mushroom burger and a crab roll! Then we ended the night with 2 pumpkin cheesecakes and a maple bourbon brownie ala mode! Everything was fantastic! Joey was our waiter and he was awesome!

The food was worth the wait! We visited the first time this weekend to have lunch. Parking was available on the street right in front. We got lucky. It was super busy. The restaurant itself is very big with plenty of seating so it didn't feel overly crowded. The staff seated us very quickly and took our drink order immediately. We ended up getting two cocktails to try both of which were very very good we decided since it was our first visit we would start with just appetizers. So we tried the shrimp tacos, rosemary garlic fries and roasted garlic shrimp toast. Holy moly. The sweet sauce on the tacos was incredible with a little bit of pineapple, just enhanced the whole thing and the garlic butter dipping sauce for the shrimp toast was fabulous. The size of the shrimp and the freshness of the seafood was awesome. Now a moment for the rosemary garlic fries. Rosemary. Garlic. Fries. I would eat these all day. I'll never go back and not get these. We did ask for a side of ranch, which was also delicious. We also had the opportunity to spy the people's food next to us and I'm pretty sure they got the lobster roll or the crab roll which I'm definitely going to try next because it looked amazing. So as I said, it was very, very busy so it took a bit for our food to come out probably about 40 minutes. It wasn't an issue for us, but the staff definitely noticed and the manager came over. I'm assuming it was the manager. He was very pleasant and gave us two card coupons for a discount for our next visit, which I thought was very observant And very kind. It wasn't necessary, but I really like the fact that he came over apologized and said I'm really sorry it doesn't normally take this long to get food out. Sir, it was worth the wait. This will definitely be a place that we take family and friends too. Definitely recommend.

Service was a little slow. Looked busy and not too many staff (maybe that was the issue). Had nowhere to go and trying to NOT be in a damn hurry. So it was alright. Food was worth the wait. I ordered a honey lavender old fashion. Really liked it. Ordered a kimchi chicken sandwich. Spicy garlic sauce, kimchi, and cucumber. Soooo good. Wife ordered the mushroom burger (smashed patties). Said she liked the arugula they added. Great lunch.

Cove in Olympia was open late and had a Happy Hour menu that we were interested in. Typical Sports Bar with a lot of tvs, music, food, and alcohol. Our server was nice, friendly, and helpful. She suggested a few of her favorite dishes. Bowl of King Chowder: geoduck, quahog clam, leeks, potatoes, & bacon (4/5). Loaded with so many clams! Thick, flavorful, and creamy. I'd get this again! Cup of Tomato Bisque (2.5/5). Sorry, this wasn't rich like I thought. No offense, I thought this tasted like thick bland spaghetti sauce. Brussel Sprouts: kimchi spice w/hot honey (5/5). Charred sprouts and the hot honey is soooo good! I couldn't stop eating this! Half Steamers: Manila clams, chorizo, in garlic, white wine, butter sauce (4/5). This was a small dish but very flavorful and delicious. Scampi Toast: prawns, garlic, tomato, white wine, parsley, red chili flakes, parm, served on sourdough (4/5). 1 Fish & Chips: house breaded cod served with fries and tarter (4/5). Nicely fried, and flakey fish. The fries were nice and crispy. Hazy IPA - "this was ok a bit bitter, not as sweet as other IPAs." Honey Lavender Lemonade. This was florally and tasty.

    Triple berry compote waffle.

Yes it's back, this is a February 2026 review. See the menu. I love the veggie omelet with Hollandaise Sauce over the top, but the Eggs Benedict are a close 2nd for me. Lunch and Supper are the same menu. Happy hour is 4 to 6. Separate areas to have conversations but get the club feeling. Come on live music nights and feel the positive Energy from Nicole to her staff to you. It's that special, hopefully you'll meet Nicole. Since, she works just as hard alongside her team. Last week's visit included my 80 yo Mother, Service Dog, and me after Dr appointment with need to eat. We ordered a club sandwich for sharing with sweet potato fries. They brought two plates, I don't know what I was thinking ordering Broccoli and Cheese Soup too. We each could eat a quarter sandwich with another meal before bedtime. A+ for consistent excellence in the kitchen and home brewed ice tea. But! The Star of The Show was the House Specialty Cocktail Menu! I'm a gin and tonic kind of guy, Beefeaters if you've got it. So, was intrigued by 'Isn't She Lovely' on the menu. Every Cocktail I've had here has been excellent. I also am not an amaretto fan. Today was no different with light fruity Cocktail that hits the tongue hard until softened by the egg white meringue on top melting the sting and leaving a nicely complimentary drink. Now, I'm a fancy gin Cocktail kinda guy. Imagine a fruity adult version of the old mall orange julius with egg and take it up a notch for Nicole's Bar. A+ for ingenuity and taste. One of my past experiences at Nicole's Bar was with a gentleman who didn't drink alcohol and wanted something different than a 0% Beer. The patient, kind, caring Bartender asked his likes and dislikes. Told him if he didn't like the result, they'd toss it and start over. He loved the 1st mocktail made, and felt like the group with his drink that we all wanted a sip to check out. So now, for him and the World Nicole's Bar now offers a Mocktail Menu and I bet you can still get a Bartender to get crazy and try something new. A+ for customer service at the highest level. A+ for service dog friendly staff. Brought the dog a paper cup of water. Nice place, period. Rating A+ for hidden gem of Olympia! If, LGBTQ bothers you than go to Dennys. Straight Friendly!

To my surprise, the place was packed with customers on a Sunday afternoon. I expected a slower pace, but it was anything but. The atmosphere was lively, with people playing pool and enjoying themselves. One of the unique features of this pub is a table game that many of you may not be familiar with. It's called Table Shuffleboard, and it's one of my favorites. I've played it a few times in Alaska, and it's a great game. To play, you simply request the pucks from the servers, and it's a lot of fun. I highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. We ordered a couple of beers, which were fairly decent. I had the Irish Death, and my friend opted for some of the commercialized beers like Blue Moon. They also ordered some wings, which they said were very good. They recommended that if you want extra crispy wings, you should have them fried hard. The sweet potato fries were cold, but the bartender was quick to take care of that. She brought us a fresh batch in a matter of minutes. The customer service was excellent throughout our visit. I'm giving this pub a three out of five stars. I'd like to come back and try some of the food, especially in the game day environment. I'm a vegetarian, so I didn't eat much of the food we had, but I'll definitely come back and try it again.
