We chose this spot for our post-Thanksgiving Friday dinner as part of an ongoing exploration of tasting menus around the city. The restaurant was comfortably quiet, with the room only about half full (post Turkey Day lull?), and both the space and the service made a strong first impression.
We went with the "kitchen" tasting menu at $210 per person, which leans heavily into New England, seasonal, and vegetable-driven dishes. The progression ran to roughly nine courses; most plates were beautifully assembled and technically on point, with the one miss being an awkward flatbread opener that was both messy and underwhelming.
We added the duck supplement ($72), which ended up being one of the highlights of the evening. Drinks included a round of cocktails, several glasses of wine, and one full pairing that showcased mostly French, Austrian, and German bottles plus a cider. Two pours stood out in particular: a clear California Chardonnay and what seemed to be an Austrian rosé that worked brilliantly with dessert.
