Imagine an evening where each course is a masterpiece, crafted to dance on the palate alongside wines that sing in perfect harmony. Cousino's Steakhouse took us on a decadent, international journey with their six-course dinner and wine pairing, curated with precision and passion. From the first bite of smoked salmon on Boursin cheese crostini to the final delight of homemade apple crisp, every flavor was a testament to culinary artistry. Each pairing, narrated by a sommelier with an infectious enthusiasm, brought a new level of appreciation to the wines; from the bright Albamar Rías Baixas Albariño to the rich, berry-infused Clos Bellane Côtes du Rhône. The ambiance? Absolutely charming, with rustic elegance and a warm, inviting glow that wrapped guests in a cozy embrace. Don't miss the next chance to experience one of these unforgettable evenings. Cousino's Steakhouse has mastered the art of pairing food, wine, and ambiance to deliver an extraordinary dining event that truly lingers in the memory.

Drove down from Detroit to Toledo and found this gem of a restaurant. I wish SoCal had a restaurant this awesome, the ambiance is and makes you feel right at home! The service was impeccable and genuine, but a restaurant is all about the food! The food was GREAT! I'd have posted pics of our plates but we devoured them. I had the best 14 ounce Sirloin I have every had, I mean it, I made the mistake of asking for steak sauce, this darn steak didn't need it, it was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I'd have to say that Toledo Ohio will have to be visited more often just to visit Cousino's again!

It has been years since the last time I was in Cousino's. Not much has changed and sometimes, that is a good thing. Service was good, food was good, and prices were reasonable. Cousino's has been around for a long, long time and there is a reason for it. I am hopeful many of these small businesses are able to stay afloat until people actually want to start working for a living again instead of expecting free handouts from the government.

The mashed potatoes are real potatoes, not boxed. My husband had the chicken fajita wrap. He says it was hot and juicy, contents were well seasoned and well cooked. Fries were crispy without being burnt. Our server was friendly and attentive without being obtrusive. We were here in December, only complaint is I don't think the bathrooms are heated, it was very chilly in there. One other thing to note, if you order root beer, it is birch beer and is very sweet (for my own future knowledge, I don't care for it).

Ambiance was dark- like a bar-type of atmosphere- which didn't matter because it was an overcast day in Ohio. It was also more of a sports var as there were lots of TV screens. I ordered a chicken caprese sandwich after being assured by my server that it was one of her favorites. It came with delicious French Fries. The sandwich was good but not amazing. For my taste, the chicken was a bit overcooked, but better than undercooked. The fries were delicious, even though I only ate a few. Before I went to college, I worked in a nice seafood restaurant and our nightly task was to make sure ketchup containers were full. Therefore, I noticed that my container of ketchup was down to the last few squirts. Never a good thing/sound! Overall, not a bad place to eat, but nothing worth going out of your way to try, imo. I see that others gave it better reviews, so this is my experience, Pictures below...

When Final Cut first opened, it justified its prices with genuinely excellent food. A decade later,…read morewhat you get is closer to mid-level hotel plating than fine dining. If the prices were in line with other steakhouses in town, I'd be more forgiving -- but at this level, the execution feels like an insult to anyone expecting an elevated night out. The service, to its credit, is outstanding. Friendly, professional, genuinely welcoming. Though you get the sense the staff doesn't really care about the food either. With places like the Chop House, Rose & Thistle, and Mancy's all within reach, it's hard to imagine a reason to return. Then again, Final Cut isn't really built for the local food scene -- it's built to fleece high rollers at the casino, and on that front, mission accomplished. Also worth noting: a strangely dated interior, terrible views, and bathrooms with a co-ed waiting area and stalls with broken locks. Just an odd place all around.

We met another couple here to get dinner. It looked like you could walk up and get a table but we had made a reservation just in case. The dining room is really nice and classy. Attire didn't seem to matter but we were in business casual. We had lobster bisque to start (the BEST we've ever had). It was so creamy and full of lobster! Then got some sides and steaks! The steaks were cooked perfectly and our sides (the risotto and brussel sprouts were incredibly delicious! The scallop add on was also perfect! Our server Kelvin ran through the whole menu and definitely upselled some of their tastiest items! The drinks we had were the perfect amount of strong too. It was a pretty pricey meal but totally worth the drive and experience!

Okay guys seriously!! There's a few poor reviews on here and I do try to keep an open mind. Well…read more.. now you have a Yelp Elite telling you to STAY AWAY!! At least until they have some serious changes!! First off it is WAY overpriced! My husband had the teriyaki steak for $18!! As you can see by the photo, this included a small handful of extremely overcooked bits of beef. I ordered a chicken dish just to be told they were out of chicken. They were also out of the 8oz steak special. I got the firecracker sushi roll which was supposed to have jalapeño. Not sure where that went. Before our meal we got the absolute worst wilted (not intentionally) iceberg and cucumber salad with an awful ginger dressing. It was bitter. Then the miso soup was actually miso broth with green onions and it tasted much more like water then miso. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. The services was subpar as well. She never asked us how we liked our food, never checked on us actually. Then we had to sit and overhear the servers talk about their poor tips. Gee I wonder why? I have to say the ambiance is pretty perfect actually but it only adds to how disappointing the food is. With such a beautiful building, this location should be a serious hot spot! I will say they appear to be clean. I usually rate on a scale... okay food 1 star, service 1 star, ambiance 1 star because it set me up for disappointment, cleanliness 4 stars. I think it's safe to say, this location gains one star! Points for improvement: if you're going to charge $18 for a steak dish... serve a steak to the customer's desired temp. And if you're going to serve miso soup and a salad make sure it's fresh and well executed. Stop using a microwave and make the food fresh!! Research authentic Asian cuisine and just execute it better. Okay I just left the bathroom. Check the picture. I'm done here.

I had seafood Cioppino and my friend ordered Wild Boar Bolognese. We also shared Classic Hummust o share as appetizer. WOW, everything tasted great and delicious. Even a simple Romaine Wedge looked so good with halal beef bacon sprinkled on it. Could not order any dessert since we both were full. Went back to Souk last Saturday with 3 other dining partners and really had a great experience…read more We had a reservation and unfortunately, they seated us in the front room. It's nice in there, but it was just too loud for us. We asked our waitress if we could move to the back room. she checked with the hostess, and it was no problem. She graciously helped us move, thanked us and handed us off to our new waitress. She was really nice about everything. Our new waitress took our drink orders, and I decided to have a Manhattan. It was just the well whiskey (I'm guessing they used domestic whiskey, so the "e" needs to be there!) and it was really well made. They even used a giant ice cube that kept the drink well chilled without the dilution issues typical ice can bring. On to appetizers... We had the calamari and an order of hummus with onions and browned butter. The calamari was really nice, but kind of stingy. It was very well cooked, nicely breaded, etc. My one quibble is there just wasn't enough, especially for the price. The hummus... So, the hummus was a rather generous portion that was out of this world delicious. It was served in a large bowl with browned onions, brown butter, paprika and fried or baked chickpeas. The hummus reminded me of Middle East Market. Smooth, creamy, garlicky, well-seasoned. If you go to Souk and don't get this, you're making a huge mistake. After the apps, we moved on to our entrees... I had the crab cakes. They were really enjoyable, served with some nicely dressed, mixed salad greens. they were full of crab meat (but unfortunately not lump crab). The outside was crispy and the inside was very nicely cooked. Great flavor. One of the folks at the table had the butternut squash ravioli. It was probably my favorite dish of all that night. Amazing flavor and perfect texture. the thing that makes their ravioli the "leader of the ravioli wars" is they served them with a sherry, cream sauce that was just amazing. Kind of a sweet and savory, salty thing. Delicious. Our other guest had the Kafta Ravioli and said it was really good. I didn't try it, so I really can't comment, but it did look pretty great. After our entrees, we moved on to coffee and split a desert. Souk's Turkish coffee was great. It's been years since I've had Turkish coffee, but it was really strong and piping hot. Just perfect. We also split an order of their bread pudding. WOW! I've not had bread pudding that good since I was in New Orleans. So, my first trip to Souk really sucked (see my review). My guess is they were having a bad night, and we got stuck with a really sh*tty waiter. The place is expensive, but the food and drink substantiate the prices. Our waitress was very professional, she knew the menu and offered informed suggestions when asked. She seemed to know when we needed her. We were not rushed and really felt like they appreciated out business. Can't wait to go back.
