I got no further than a phone call with this company. When the young lady answered the background noise from a radio/tv was very distracting. I asked about renting a car and she gave me the "do you have full coverage insurance " question FIRST! Followed by are you over 25. I guess prior to them renting a car they have to qualify if I'm the type of person that want to rent to. I thought being new to town and seeing a local spot I'd give them a try...NOPE ....I'm kinda glad I only made to a phone couldn't image what renting from them would've have been like!!! Beware of deposit refund charges. Unless you intend on vacuuming the car, prior to returning, be prepared to forfeit part of deposit. We forgot to remove two water bottles from the door and they were going to charge for that also. I have rented many cars and have never had part of my cleaning deposit keep in the past. In addition, I probably wouldn't have rented from them had I read the unprofessional responses to some reviews. "Jeff H" should start by saying "we are truly sorry your experience" and hash out the details offline. We had to use Courtesy in an emergency, and boy do I regret it. When my auto insurance failed to pay them in a "timely" manner for a collision, they sent harassing letters to me and my partner. There is no "courtesy" about this place, and the owner is a smug piece of work. They made a bad situation even worse with their attitude. Don't take a chance...go elsewhere! read more

I washed and vacuumed their car when I returned it and it was cleaner than when I took it well they came in and showed me some dirt and called it ashes and charged me my $200 deposit , they scam you out of your deposits . I haven't read the reviews but I'll bet when I do there's going to be more people with the same scam pulled on them . The cars stereo had blown out speakers . $200.00 that I didn't have was basically stolen from me . Now I'm going 2 weeks of top Ramon noodles and peanut butter. Lindsey is rude and overbearing from the jump she is pretty much there to harass you for payment or run your paper work. She is not knowledgeable about car insurance coverage and absolutely offers no help she is there to collect. To avoid any issues and confusion just go anywhere but this place. read more

Do not rent from Courtesy. They over charge! Bad experience!! Needed a quick rental for family emergency. They charged extra days because they were closed on Saturday. I check other rentals after the fact, they were open until 12:00 on that Saturday (4th of July weekend) The 4th was on Monday. Had to pay 2 extra days. Not good business!! The car I rented felt like it was going to break down. I will never rent from this place again.

If I could give no stars, I definitely would. So, I rented a car for a week from here. Turns out I didn't need it and I called to let them know I'd be returning it. First red flag was they said they had a glitch in their system and got the miles wrong. Then they brought up that they had a gps in the car and knew I wasn't driving it like are you sitting there watching me? When I'm fact I was driving. Then they tell me they will call me back and instead they come and take the car from where I was at. I call to get it sorted and find out they are taking my 300 dollar deposit upon assumption I wasn't driving the vehicle as well as charging me over a hundred dollars to fill up the tank when it was halfway full and another charge of 60 dollars for them to come out and get the car. But mind you when I called the person I spoke to said "oh I forgot they took it" unprofessional and no communication. I payed for a week and they just come and take the car 2 days in when I was making plans to return it with them. I had no chance to fill the tank. 500 dollars they took and left me with 18 dollars for assuming someone else drove my vehicle. Will be letting everyone I know who rent cars not to come to this place. read more

I tried to support our local business and used Courtesy rather than Budget to rent a truck. PIck up time needs to be changed because someone else rented that truck. When we returned, they said we make a tiny dent and asked for $75. Make sure you take photos when you have the walk through and spot every little thing. read more

$50 saturday return? What a BS policy. I don't care what excuses your staff may tell me, but charging me for bringing in a rental on a Saturday is an outrageous policy. You are open for business, so why should I be penalized for returning a car early? It is just not good business and I am pretty sure I am not the only one who has voiced their distaste of this policy. I don't care if other rental companies don't allow saturday returns, I don't care if it is hard for your company to get detailers on a Saturday. Those are other places. These are all just be a poor excuses to somehow justify charging people extra $. If you don't want to deal with saturday returns, then close the office on saturdays. You business is making money giving rental car services otherwise on saturdays, why would returning car be any damn different? Saturday returns should be a part of normal business costs and a part of the charges I incur for my rental. The rate they charged me was $100+ more per week than other local car rental companies, and this was supposedly with a discount because my car was being worked on with a local shop. Also, the car I rented didn't have the windshield wiper fluid filled at all. If your company is going to charge all of these exuberant charges, then maybe they should make sure the cars & fluids are properly maintained. I try my best to support local businesses, but after the amount of $ I was charge at this place, I suggest that you go somewhere else with your money, if possible. read more

We had no issues with the vehicle we rented, had more of an issue with staff. Needed a 12 passenger van, booked it enough time in advance an secured it with a deposit. However when we showed up to pick it up staff acted like they didn't know about it and began scrambling calling people to return the van. We had to wait an hour an a half to get the vehicle which delayed us and caused us to miss some reservations. And then a day prior I received multiple calls regarding returning the vehicle before the return date. read more

Of course that only if they're open on Saturday, which they aren't if they rent all they're vehicles out by Friday. If you rent a vehicle earlier in the week, like a Thursday and want it for 2 days,(48 hours) You either have to turn it in Friday by 5, short your 48 hours, pay $50 !!!!! On Saturday, so you've paid an enormous fee for a 2 day rental , or pay till Monday. Any way it's called SCAM !!!!!!!!! read more

I reserved a car from another place and they cancelled on my 15 mins before I was suppose to pick it up. I was so upset because I needed this car to go to my sisters out of town wedding. I called around to see if I could find another car and no one had any for a decent same day rental price. I called courtesy as a last effort and they were able to find me a car and at a decent price. I literally will only recommend them. They're great at answering questions -as I was a first time renter I had quite a few- and they're prices are great. The people are friendly and very good at explaining everything. They also were able to recommend a good car that will safely get me to my destination. Not only was it last minute, but with the wild card aspect being a holiday weekend, with my car in the shop, it made commuting to work INCREDIBLY less stressful. Enterprise did not have the car I reserved ready, but I walked right into your office and drove off with a rental car in less than 30 minutes. I walked into this office and was greeted by a smile by your office manager. I rented the Nissan Sentra which was delivered excellent gas mileage and had enough power going up the hills toward Los Angeles. I highly recommend this company for your rental car needs. We were really impressed with Courtesy's service. They offered to pick us up at the train station, which we took advantage of, and dropped us off. That alone saved us taxi service fees. And when we dropped off the car we hadn't filled the gas tank, and rather than charge us $7 a gallon for gas, they stopped at a gas station for us before leaving us at the train station. Great rates and great service! Just make sure how much mileage you are getting when reserving your car. We assumed it was unlimited miles but turned out it was only 100 mi. per day. We actually used much less than that so there was no issue, but it made me nervous. Highly recommend this car rental!!! read more
