When I called to cancel, I spoke with a gentleman named Joe, and the interaction was extremely unprofessional. I was already frustrated that a technician had come out to perform service on a day when it had been pouring rain all day long, which made the timing of the treatment seem ineffective and poorly planned. Instead of addressing my concerns respectfully, Joe became snappy and cocky during the call. At the end of the day, all calls are recorded, and I sincerely hope a supervisor or someone in management takes the time to listen to how this employee--who represents the company--speaks to customers. His tone and attitude were unacceptable. Customer service should always involve professionalism and respect, especially when a customer is raising legitimate concerns. It's important for employees to remember that without paying customers, there would be no business and no jobs. I expected far better service and courtesy, and unfortunately, this experience fell well below that standard

I find myself answering my own questions with suggestions like using a Tommy Lift if such a thing exists for pickups. He mentioned a trailer but not how to load a 400 lb stump grinder. Told him I'm not renting and instead have my contractor handle the logistics and all I do is pay the tree contractor. God I am so disappointed in Merced.
