AC went out. Originally took it to ford razzari.they gave me a list of things that "needed" to be fixed, trying to get me to fork more money over, When I knew it was the fan belt. These guys here don't try to rob you. They replaced my ac fan belt and now it's golden. Also put a muffler and tip on the exhaust the same day. Definitely recommend this place. Ricardo helped me out. Got a quote for a 1 single part stolen recently (Catalytic Converter)..one look at the list and its a complete scam. They are trying to charge us for parts that we already have that are completely fine, along with jumping up the prices of all items (when comparing to a quick search on google) additionally included items that were nowhere to be found. My car started leaking fluid and I searched for a radiator clinic and found this one. Even tho it was only 15 minutes to closing time the owner said to come on over. I got there they checked out the car and I needed a new radiator. He called around found the parts I needed while I waited to make sure they had everything in stock then he drove me back to my motel. Not the owner but one of the workers was suppose to fix the ac and charge it. Took it in in Thursday evening. The guy asked if I can leave in over night so he can do a lil tonight and have it done in the morning. No later than noon. I called before noon asking if it was done another guy said they are making sure it works right now and they will call me later. So I ended up calling before closing time and they said oh that are so sorry they forgot to call me. So I went down there to pick it up and nothing was done it was all taken apart. Wanted to keep it over the weekend to change the blender door. Was trying to charge me 1400 for nothing fixed just a lot of my time wasted. Had my husband look at this weekend. Turns out it wasn't even the blender door but the climate module. And they didn't even charge like they charged me for. Friday to Sunday it shouldn't be blowing hot. Had someone put a dye in it to check if it leaks. It does not. They are crooks. Would not suggest going there. Waste of time and money. read more

Let me start by saying that I still believe that there are a lot of good people in the world and these guys prove that. The tongue of my trailer broke on the highway and needed to be welded. I was completely stranded and 300 miles from home and 350 miles from my destination. I looked up welders on Yelp and the guy I spoke to told me to go see these guys and they would help me out. I called them and they told me to come on over. The tongue is removable so I got it unhooked and headed over. Fortunately for me, I was only a mile and a half away. I left my trailer, and my partner, by the side of the road and drove to their shop. When I got there, Carlos told me that they would get to it right away. They took the tongue from me and began the repair immediately. Fifteen minutes later I was out the door and on my way. These guys were awesome. They saved me from having a very bad start to my vacation. read more

so my ac has been acting up on my vehicle i work around the area and passed by the shop. decided to take the car to them n see if they can tell me what's going on with it and what can be done about it. I talk to the guys about the problem. telling him the car blows cold air so its not the freon gas but more of a compressor problem just don't know exactly what. He still tried to sell me the gas recharge service. we ended settling on just the diagnostic. told me it'll be a couple of hours to get it done since i have a car ahead of me. i went home and called back around 4 pm to check the status. they told me they hadn't done it yet but will call back in a couple of min. called an hr after and still not ready but will call in 10 min. called back another hour after and they were closed! what kind of shady service is that? no communication from them no honest answer and no car!?!? If that doesn't say untrustworthy i don't know what else can. read more

I went to Merced Radiator on February 20th, 2017 and talked to Hugo about fixing a heater core for my 1973 Dodge Dart. He told me that he would have to order the center piece of the heater core and that it would be expensive to replace just the center piece. I told him to get the price of that piece and then call me back with a quote on replacing that center piece and welding my original heater core tanks to it. I told him that I had ordered 2 different heater cores from the local auto parts stores (cost of the aftermarket heater core was $43) and that they didn't fit because the inlet and outlet pipes were not designed properly. He said in Spanish "I will cut your original tanks off and then weld them to a brand new center piece. " So he called me on Wednesday, February 22, 2017, and told me that it would cost me $156 with tax for the new part and the work-I told him to do the work. He called me on Friday and said it was ready to go; so I went to pick it up. I took it home and sure enough IT DIDN'T FIT. I looked at it closely and it had the AFTERMARKET sticker on it. What Hugo did was buy an aftermarket heater core (for about $40) and charged me $156.00 for it. I went back and told him that I wanted my old heater core and my money and he said "Here is your old heater core and I gave you a brand new one cause it's better than your old one", I told him that wasn't the deal we made. He said he would work on it and replace the tanks so I told him "So now you are going to do the work that we originally agree on?", he said it's just that I didn't want to give you the same heater core. The next day I went back and one of his workers was fixing it. I told his employee that I knew exactly what Hugo had done and that I would report it. I have been working on cars since I was 14 years old and that he was trying to take advantage of me. I can imagine what he does to others that don't know about cars. When I got there that Saturday morning to pick up my heater core, they were whispering something and looking at me. More than likely they knew I had caught Hugo trying to CHEAT ME. I do not recommend people going here as more than likely they will try to take advantage of you. ASK FOR YOUR OLD PARTS if they say they are replacing something. You make the call on going to this place. read more
