This shop doesn't deserve a star. I chose this location because it's closer to my home. Horrible decision doing so. I HAD to call twice to set up an appointment. We visit the location for them to tell us, allow 2-4 days for insurance to approve. Day 6 rolls around my insurance never received any work order. I had to call back twice (this shop) to get someone on the phone to figure out what's the hold up!!! She didn't explain or give advice on how their process works I had to ask because my other claims with another company was smooth sailing & I did NOT have to chase anyone! A couple weeks ago I had a small accident that resulted in me lightly scraping the side of my sister's car and messing up a long streak of paint. At first I thought it was ok until they told me to open door carefully or handle would come off and when I got it home they had only pushed in my back bumper and did not clip it on. I dealt with Ronnie the owner majority of the time. I don't know if it's because we were two women but he kept making promises of the work he never intended to do, it was even including on the estimate. I never received any phone calls about my car or if it was done. So after a while I just started calling every 3 to 4 days. When I asked if they finished all the work that was on the estimate he would yell and say I'm "fabricating" promises he never made. Even though it was written on the estimate and he told me twice he would finish it. Ronnie yelled at me three times over the phone. He was extremely nice to the insurance adjuster lying to her saying my car has been sitting done for a week. Yet I spoke to him minutes ago before he spoke to the adjuster and found out he just finished something yesterday. So apparently he worked on my car yesterday but he told me and the adjuster he was going to charge me $80 for that day for storage and if I don't pick up my car today he was going to charge me another $80. Of course that did not happen because I went to the other shop to get proof that it was there yesterday but Ronnie never got the work done there because he wanted to claim he got work done which wasn't done. When I called the place that he said he sent it out to, they said they never got my car until yesterday. Because of this I called the Bureau of Automobile Repair. Ronnie for some reason gave me another woman's bill including her personal information of her vehicle including her phone number, address and full name. I'm sure even if you're a man Ronnie will give you false promises of work he never intends to do. He seems to quickly yell at women over the phone but wouldn't have the attitude in person probably because other people around. If you have work done and you catch them lying and trying to scam you, you can report them to Bureau of Auto Repair (BAR) so they can correct this scam behavior. The BAR was very nice and he took my concerns seriously. read more

Rony and his shop Premier Collision Center are definitely the best auto body shop in and around the merced area I have had the unfortunate experiences of a couple of fender benders and and a couple of major damage accidents.... he has also done some upgrading painting to my new GMC DENALI truck perfectly matching one of the hardest paint colors out there which the white frost pearl on my truck he did that on a lot of the black plastics that come from factory and they came out looking better than factory work!! Anyhow every single time I've had any need for a body shop I make sure my vehicles go to Rony's shop no exceptions!!! My reason being is that from the first job he did for us about 5 years ago we got treated like family he's always going over and beyond from what any other shop would, and I am not just saying that... I have had the experience of dealing with some of the other shops in town that call themselves the best in town and believe me.. at all those other places they're bottom line is them and they're profits! Staff was friendly on the phone. The estimator was also nice. So far no service complaints. But Masks optional? I walked in for a quote. The only protection the office had was a plastic curtain. Which would help the receptionist. If it wasn't for the fact that she walked passed it to greet me without a mask. After waiting for a few minutes. The estimator walks in. Again with no mask? Finally, a customer walks in. And again. No mask? I understand that this may not reflect the job. But it does add stress to an already stressed customer. read more

Back in January, my 13' Ford Fusion was t-boned in a residential neighborhood, snapping a control arm and breaking many other components within the rear, passenger side axle assembly. An insurance claim paid for the damages and the car sat in their shop for around a month. When I originally picked the car up, about a week went by before I realized I was hearing a thudding sound coming from the area that was fixed. I even drove the car to Monterrey that weekend. I called Premier (Jim) and told him about the issue and he warmly welcomed me and the vehicle back to his shop where the minor issue was fixed in a matter of minutes. If you ever need to bring your car somewhere to get fixed don't bring it to this place or if you do make sure to take your valuables out of your car because I had the small items that I couldn't find after my car was fixed I didn't think nothing of it at first I didn't really care I just wanted my car fixed it was almost a month that I didn't have my car and almost lost my job they said they have rentals but they didn't have them at the time but I seen on another review that the owner went out of pocket to give this person a rental car so you just have to be the right person I guess or female I should say, then a couple weeks later after my car was fixed my brake light goes out on the side that they fixed I brought it back to them and they fixed it and then a couple months later it went out again and they're telling me that I have to fix it because the bulb went out and they're not going to keep replacing it and I told them it was the side that you guys fixed that keeps going out and then to top it off the owner Ronny said they'll do it this one last time but after that I have to pay to fix it and I asked him why would it be going out so fast and he says I don't know maybe a cheap light bulb so I hope that says enough about this place an how they treat they're customers. read more
