You absolutely could not tell there was any damage to it at all. I was worried that the paint wouldn't match up because I have used so much wax on the rest of the car, but I was wrong, it looks great!! The went the extra mile with the amount of detailing the did on the outside and inside, I swear it looks better than when I drove it of the lot. I may have to wreck it again just to get the interior detailed in the future! Kidding, I have no plans on another wreck haha Be nice to the girls up front, I've seen them deal with a lot of busy situations in just the few minutes I was at the desk, they have. Following a car accident claim, I trusted Rich's Auto with body and suspension repairs. After a…read morefour-month wait, they returned my vehicle in an unsafe, undriveable condition, endangering my family. Daniel (office supervisor) and Julian (adjuster) were dismissive of my serious concerns. Rich's Auto subcontracted the suspension work to 'Super Shop,' who not only failed to fix the issues but also damaged the lower control arm. I ultimately took the car to Midas, where they immediately identified and repaired the safety issues missed by Rich's. I had to diagnose the body, alignment, and door issues myself, only to have Rich's staff argue with me and act condescendingly regarding their faulty workmanship. Rich's Auto Repair hired Super Shop for accident-related suspension repairs, but they only applied temporary, unsafe patches despite multiple attempts to fix it. After Super Shop repeatedly failed to properly repair the vehicle, I took it to MIDAS, who correctly addressed the issues and fixed the damage caused by Super Shop's negligent work.

I was involved in a car accident in Merced last month and local resident that has lived in this…read morecommunity for decades recommended that I take my vehicle to Pete's Auto Body. I had to call them first to schedule for a tow truck to kind of pick up my vehicle because I was staying in a hotel and had planned to be in town briefly, that ended up having to stay here for a few weeks because of the car accident. Rhonda took my call and she was amazing from the first phone call, through every step of the process with my automobile repair. I have not been in the car accident in decades and never been in a situation like this before, having been involved in one so many hours away from home and having to stay at a hotel and dealing with my insurance, the other person's insurance and all while being so far away from home. I was having to make decisions about a rental and stay all in the middle of the summer break, and she was supportive and patient through that process. I actually used my AAA membership to pick up and tell my vehicle to their shop and they took everything from there. Within one business day they called me and let me know that they had a fault ready for me and they reviewed that information with me and also connected with my insurance AAA. Everything was handled with professionalism, detail, and thorough communication. They had to wait to order the parts until my insurance authorized their estimate because as insurance companies do they want to handle down the price and pay the least amount possible; even though I pay such a high premium to have great quality insurance. As soon as Pete's was able to, they ordered my parts needed and they were there within a week. They then began the repair work, and by the end of the following week, I had my vehicle. I appreciated the fact that they gave me an accurate estimate and didn't make me hopeful with the timeline that made me think.I would have had my vehicle sooner than I did. I stopped by in the middle of the timeline and checked on my vehicle and the shop is well organized, the mechanics working in the shop are respectful and courteous and have great customer service. I actually got to meet the owner Pete and his son PK. That was a treat! Meeting the original owner and his son was a blessing, because I got to see the heart of the business from the founder to the next generation, and Jto see how they run the business, like a family was a beautiful thing to see. I truly believe that they have been a part of the Merced community for this many decades because they treat their clients like you would want your family to be treated, and I am not from the area currently, but they treated me like I was. When I picked up my vehicle, it had been washed cleaned from the inside out, and it looked brand new as though I was driving it off with a new dealership lot. I looked over the work and everything looked great and I haven't had any issues since. I picked it up several weeks ago, and I drove it all the way back down to through Los Angeles to Orange County, where I currently live. If you live in Merced County, or you're passing through and somebody hits you, or you get in a car accident, because accidents do happen; I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PETE'S AUTO BODY. The front office ladies are better than Charlie's Angels with stellar, sincere customer service. Pete is back in the shop, "making sure everybody's doing what they're supposed to be doing", his son PK is working too, and the other mechanics on their team are great! They will treat you like family, family that you LIKE, not your step family hahaha...all while taking CARE of your complete AUTO BODY REPAIR NEEDS.

Everyone here is on top of it, for the most part, there was some damage they didn't fix which was apart of the accident and are currently contacting the insurance regarding it to see if they can fix it (I made sure as the inspector was looking that it was to be fixed, and it should be fixed...). Will follow up because the inspector shouldve added that. I simply wish it was fixed the first time.
