They now accept reservations which makes going to hibachi way easier! The only downfall is that the last couple of times I went they were not allowed to serve alcohol due to their liquor license expiring. Hopefully that has now been remedied.

We made reservations but really didn't need to as they were not extremely busy. We were seated right away at a hibachi table with two other adults and a child. The tables seat 8 people and we had a total of 5 at ours. Our drink order was taken quickly and we opted for the VIP meal which is filet mignon, shrimp, lobster tail, scallops, chicken and fried rice and vegetables for two. The cook came out shortly and began to prepare our meal. Soft drink refills are free. Of course you get the ginger salad and mushroom soup beforehand. I enjoyed the ginger salad because it had lots of dressing but could have used a little more of a gingery taste. The chef made plenty of fried rice for 4 of us and plenty of vegetables. In fact, that's what your meal is mostly made up of. The VIP meal is $100 for two people and one other person at our table got filet mignon and scallops with his meal. The food was ok but could have used more seasonings. You do not get much protein in your meal. For $50 each we got 3 shrimp, 3 scallops, plenty of slightly overdone chicken, 4 pieces of filet mignon and 3-4 pieces of lobster. You get entirely too much rice and veggies. The person at the table that did not order the VIP got more scallops and more fillet. Overall we were not impressed and would probably not return because I feel paying $100 for two people should get you as much if not more since you are paying more for it. I felt the chef should have prepared more protein and less "filler." Oh well, live and learn and try other hibachi places.

Maybe you like me had forgotten about The Loft at Traders Point...or you just didn't know about!…read moreWell I'm here to tell you make the reservation and go! From the moment we checked in with the host stand we were impressed! We were quickly seated and greeted. Jonaz was our server and he was incredible- he made so many recommendations for us, pointed out what's popular, what he loves and explained more about the flavors working together on the menu than would meet the eye! We also got to see Pascal, one of the managers while we were there! If you frequented Patachou in Clay Terrace...you know Pascal! We enjoyed an incredible cheese board to start our meal! Fantastic drinks- as someone who is currently pregnant I LOVED that they had mocktails that were not super sweet, that seems to be tough for a lot of places to get on the menu! We also started with the Yeast Rolls which sound so simple but were incredible. Moving on we had the Harvest Salad- I had never had pickled rhubarb and it was such a great addition. The black tea vinaigrette was amazing, fresh and light- the team in the back of the house knows what they are doing and is putting the work in on creating a perfectly curated menu with flavors that WORK! For entrees I had the Foraged Mushroom Bucatini with salmon added and my husband had the New York Strip. It's been a minute since we've been somewhere that's served a perfectly cooked steak on the first shot and this was edge to edge perfectly medium rare for him. We shared a side of the Spring Green vegetables- I'll dream about them, they were amazing. Jonaz helped my husband pick out a glass of wine to compliment his entree and knocked it out of the park. Now I'm telling you- you're going to want to eat all your food but you have to save room for dessert! How can you come and not try any ice cream?! We had the strawberry ice cream to split and it was a great end to our meal. I will say as we were leaving we saw a server walk by with a Toffee Crumble Sundae (I think that's the name) and let's just say that next time...we'll be trying that! We will 100% be back! The store downstairs is adorable, and we want to try out their brunch!

The best part besides the delicious food was the staff, highly attentive and friendly!!! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The beautiful bar when you enter really looks nice. I stopped in for lunch and was served by Matthew, who was spot-on with his recommendations. When I asked for a cocktail suggestion, he recommended the Whiskey Dreams, and it did not disappoint. It was a well balanced cocktail featuring bourbon, elderflower, lavender, and orange curaçao. It was liquor forward with just the right touch of sweetness. For lunch, I ordered the steak sandwich with mashed potatoes. The sandwich was packed with flavor from the first bite. The bun was soft and buttery, the steak was juicy and tender, and the horseradish sauce tasted homemade. The cheese was perfectly melted, and it was served with fresh lettuce, tomato, and onion. If you're in Lebanon or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping here. Based on this meal, I'll definitely be back to try the prime rib.

I was lucky enough to grab a night where the 8oz filet, potatoes, and salad was only $17. My steak was cooked pretty good - I asked for medium rare but it was more like medium. I ordered a bowl of their famous clam chowder. The chowder was delivered quickly and was nice and hot with croutons. The chowder is thick and creamy with a hint of spicy heat. I loved it There is plenty of parking in the strip mall. An outdoor patio is available. The bar is located only a block off 465, but there is no on ramp going north. I felt like I was near the coast. I'll be back. I hear the pork chops are phenomenal.
