My appetite sufficiently appeased

Food great, service fine, miss that guy nick though, he was a stud. Owner is a great guy, used to have a mustache I hear, but those days are over. Get the burritos, they're fire

Came here for breakfast with the hubby on Sunday, late morning. We were the only ones in their. So it was nice and peaceful. The staff is very friendly, Nick is easy to talk to! To start with, we had a homemade banana nut muffin, grilled. It was delicious! The coffee tasted great. Not watered down like most diners. I had a basic breakfast, two over easy eggs, bacon, extra crispy home fries, and wheat toast. Nothing super fancy, basic but delicious. My husband got the egg white omelet with sausage and veggies. A little bit too much cheese inside. Probably could ease back a bit on that. But still very good. Price is extremely reasonable! Definitely looking forward to coming back for more breakfast options. The restroom could probably be a little updated and cleaner though.

Good food and fast service. The waiter was super friendly and kind. The food was made fast and fresh. In and out in less than 40 minutes!

Today we tried Country Kitchen for the first time ever. Never even knew this place existed until today! Anyway, my pancakes were great and my boyfriend enjoyed his eggs Benedict. The home fries were a little bland but overall, I would eat here again!

Finally arrived. Decent, but not great.

Not impressed. Home fries were mushy. Staff not very helpful. Good prices. Couldn't get onto WiFi waitress gave us nonfunctional password.

Very inexpensive! This is not a fancy place, however it is extremely affordable and the food is consistently good.

We were looking for a nice (non-franchise) diner for a quick but good lunch. Country Kitchen offered precisely that. Recommendable.

I have been to this restaurant many times and it never disappointed. I have tried essentially…read moreeverything on the breakfast menu and one of my absolute favorites was the breakfast sandwich (specifically with brisket which was smoked fresh daily) It was a huge portion and came with the option of breakfast potatoes, berries or a side salad. It was nice to have options for a side. They have so many options there is definitely something for everyone. I appreciated the variety due to the amount of times I stayed there, I could always have something different. One highlight of my breakfast experience that may seem minor was their fresh pressed Fuji apple juice, it is without a doubt the best I've ever had. They use farm fresh, local ingredients which I am a huge fan of. The quality was so high. Josh is my favorite server / bartender, extremely attentive and always goes above and beyond.

Service was friendly and attentive. There's a bar area to sit for cocktails and ordering. The dining room was large with lots of windows. You can also make reservations through Open Table or Resy if you're concerned about seating. We were in town for the Yale Harvard football game and so breakfast got a little crowded around 9:00. Food was great! Both mornings we ordered the same dishes: frittata and a burger with fries. The frittata had a good amount of mushrooms and spinach. Nice and creamy. Came with a side salad. The burger came with a side of fries and I loved those fries! Crispy and thin. Nicely seasoned. Burger both times came out medium well, just as we ordered. Locally sourced ingredients. New Haven has a ton of great restaurants and BLVD is one of them.

It was very quiet in the restaurant when we were there for lunch on a weekday. Maybe 3 other tables were occupied in addition to ours. The crispy eggplant and burrata appetizer and the brussel sprouts salad risotto cake appetizers were good. For lunch, I ordered the swordfish special and it was absolutely delicious over couscous. The grilled salmon dish looks delicious too and my friend liked it as well.

Lobster bisque was hot though pretty liquid-y. The Brussels sprout salad was by no means a salad. More of a rice cake with Brussels shavings on too but really good. Calamari was okay. Mac and cheese was eh, really liquidy as well. I did really like the crispy mushroom risotto tater tots. They tasted just like tater tots. As we were getting to our last bites and still eating, at least three different staff members within a matter of a minute asked if we're were done and could take our plates away. I would have given this place four stars had we not been bombarded at the end of our dinner. It felt like we were being rushed out even though there were tons of tables and seats still available. Left a bad taste in my mouth.
